@_justin I loved watching that guy play when he played for Dallas the first time.  Westbrook level speed... not the athleticism, but he had the speed.

This is why frame by frame instant replay is stupid.  Use some common sense.  Gooden hit the ball, the ball went in the direction of Gooden's hit.  I don't care if there is a quarter millisecond where the ball is still touching the Raptor player.

Look at it a couple of times.  If its not obvious, maybe apply some common sense.

@_justin @mattchant @KingGondo I'd love to see Singler back.  He has been good in the league for awhile.  He should bounce back and maybe this slump will make him cheap.  3 million per would be a steal

Tyler Hansborough is seriously the most likely player in the league to hurt himself or someone else.  The guy tries so hard and is such a mess on the court.

@Jooseppi @Zach99 I cannot imagine the front office said yank Jeremy Lamb the second he makes one mistake.

I can't imagine the front office made Brooks start Perk every game in the Finals against Miami.

I agree with some of what you are saying, but Brooks has responsibility for much of it as well.

My hope is that their patience for his poor personnel decision making is greater than mine, but finally has run out.

We will see what happens.

If the Thunder choose to fire Scott Brooks, the reason is simple in my opinion.  He make playing time decisions based on things other than on court production.  Who knows what those reasons are, but it has happened for years now.

Remember when Jeff Green would play 42 minutes every night and Harden and/or Ibaka would barely get any minutes and at least one would be on the bench in crunch time.  History shows us how bad that decision was.

Perk and Derek Fisher got minutes year after year regardless of match up.  This was especially bad in the finals against Miami when we consistently crushed them when Perk was on the bench while our starting line up got obliterated.

Jeremy Lamb was not the greatest of players for us, but his leash was so ridiculously short.   He never had a chance to get anything going with this team.  Dion Waiters on the other hand, could probably score for the other team and not come out of the game.

If the Thunder let Scott Brooks go, and I personally hope they do, it should be for years of indefensible playing time decisions.

@_justin He took less 3s a game than last year shockingly.  So progress right?

@CollisonDoppelganger @Zach99 The difference to me is that Coach K has a relationship with KD and Russ from the national team.

He also basically made KD the man in the Olympics on a team with LBJ, Carmelo and all the other American stars in the game.

The dude loves KD (as every coach probably would).  If anyone could lure him away you would think prime KD would have the best chance.

Easily the worst aspect of Scott Brooks' coaching is his favoritism towards certain players.

Harden and Ibaka could not get on the floor for his love of Jeff Green.

Derek Fisher's corpse getting significant playoff minutes.

Perk can do no wrong, but all other young centers are on a leash so short it is ridiculous.

This year, Dion can play like pure garbage and still get 30 minutes over and over.

Now we pray to the ping pong ball gods.  I hope we somehow pull a miracle and get a high pick.

Then shove that shit down San Antonio's throats for the next 5 years.   Could have avoided the lottery pick just by not sucking it up against eh Pelicans in that one game.

Russ was so good when he was getting calls.  Getting to the line is so important for players who attack.

A game that is 10-27 for 25 points tswith no fouls being called might be 10-22 for 34 points if fouls are being called correctly.

I truly believe that Russ was so efficient for a couple of months because when he attacked and drew contact he actually went to the line.  The last 2 weeks he cannot buy a damn call.
