My hope is that when KD and Russ get back we continue to play with this kind of defensive intensity for the rest of the year.
My hope is that we are as strong and focused defensively as we have been, while also having more offensive talent than almost anyone else in the league.
If we play like that, watch out NBA. Could have a historic run.

@kevindurant35 We literally have zero other playmakers out there right now.
The Thunder are the only team in the league with one healthy play maker on its roster.
Not surprising at all in my mind.

So what are the odds that the defense can remain at this level when KD and Russ get back.
We will certainly remain desperate and hungry for the rest of the season. Could possibly have a seriously epic run if the defensive energy remains this high when our talent level returns to normal.
@mattchant @d21 @_justin Dude is earning it.

@Hoodzy That line-up has so much skill and athleticism. I cannot wait to see it on the floor.
So Reggie is officially a star now?
22 - 4 - 7.5 averages
Glad he is on our team this year. Hope we pay him next year.
Oh and anyone who talks shit about Thomas for the next week should be banned from the site. That guy worked his ass off tonight and was a huge key to this win.
@ Luke The guy played his balls off tonight. Say what you want, but he was s big key to that win.
Morrow save some for next game man.... killing em
That ball movement man.
We are straight outworking those dudes. That is all.
Effort man, gotta tip your cap.
@MorrowFaction(I still have faith in Lamb) We are playing better defense overall as a team.
Staying in front of people better generally leads to less opportunities for blocked shots and better overall defense.
Serge's blocks are down this year too.

@_justin @Zach99 @okcjim What is our ORTG when he is not on the floor?
Particulary, what is our ORTG when he is not on the floor AND Jackson is not on the floor.
Still a little ridiculous to look at a number like ORTG at this point in the season. So few minutes played. One bad or one good performance can skew numbers to total uselessness.
@_justin @Zach99 @okcjim I am watching the game. People are getting decent shots and he is setting them up for many of them.
Look at who we have available. Do you expect the same numbers as last year?
@okcjim Telfair is doing a decent job of running the offense though. His assist numbers are pretty good and his turnover numbers are pretty low. Our offense has run pretty well with him in the game. I feel like he makes other people around him better.
His offensive efficiency is not great, but he has been fine overall in my opinion.
He just needs to stop shooting (or start making) all those early in the shot clock three pointers.
He is our third string point guard, pressed into duty that no one expected. He has been fine.
@_justin The guy has done a decent job of creating offense for other people. His offensive efficiency is not great, but he has done a nice job of getting us into our offense and making other players around him better.
I am fine with him as third string point guard in duty like what Royal Ivey pulled a couple of years ago once everyone is back and healthy.
Just please never ever shoot a three with more than three seconds on the shot clock again.
@Old Man Game Just tell Telfair that if he wants to keep his job he needs to stop jacking up threes.
If he stopped shooting threes, he would be just fine for this team.

@The McAdams Bros @Zach99 This 5 games in 7 nights bullshit is ridiculous for a healthy team and downright cruel to a team battling injuries. No reason for this kind of schedule at all.

@FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] @Zach99 @holdmymartian Playoff battles make the rivalries....
OKCs main rivals are San Antonio and Memphis... both in different divisions.
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] @Zach99 @holdmymartian Divisions are dumb too. Why should some teams have easier schedules than others just because of the dumb division that they are in? Used to be because of travel, but modern travel makes that meaningless.
Make it fair. Everyone plays everyone twice.
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] @Zach99 @holdmymartian The stupid East and West is a joke. If you played home and home everyone is on a level playing field and there is no reason at all for east and west. Just take the 16 best teams.
If we were in the East these injuries would be a blip on the radar and we could just cruise through to the playoffs.
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] @Zach99 @holdmymartian So give Seattle and KC a team? 30 teams is not some magic number...
@holdmymartian @Zach99 Your team is one team so there are 31 other teams.
You play a home game and an away game with each of them... that is 62 games...
This situation is another serious argument for less games in the same amount of time in the NBA season. Less injuries, get rid of stupid meaningless divisions, more rest for the players, better basketball overall.
Just have 32 teams, play home and home with everyone, 62 game schedule. Much more fair overall.
Tons more rest for the players. Less injuries. Teams are less penalized for having injuries. Just makes sense.
Only ones who lose is the owners with a few less home games. So it will never happen but it would make the game much better overall.
I will miss the "Guards are for Chumps" line-up we ran out there for a bit against the Nuggets.
When Perry Jones is the smallest guy on the floor for your team, you are doing something seriously outside the box.
I'm not a Brooks fan, but that was insane and worked so got to give him credit.

@The Adams Family *temporarily* formerly Tvaddic It is just highlighting the ridiculousness of the NBA's anti-flopping policies.
I happen to totally agree with him.
Telfair totally functional for us tonight. Did everything we needed. Shot a bit too much in the fourth, but Im not sure we had a lot of options that were not out of gas.
If he can play like this, he is fine for keeping us afloat.
3 weeks, 3 days ago on Thunder vs Nuggets: Pregame Primer
Every win is huge in keeping us in the playoff race long term. Great win here.
No one more clutch than Lance Thomas.
Think he took a head to the man parts...
Id like to arbitrarily enforce the travelling rule that is ignored on 99% of NBA possessions during crunch time of this game in order to exert my dumb authority
- NBA ref
Gotta make free throws to put this thing away, Starts here.
I love our "guards are for chumps" line-up.
Again, hand is part of the ball. Telfair either hit his hand or he hit the ball.
No chance that was a foul
Who was worried? All of us, none of our players.
More Perk highlights in this game than for all of last season.
That shit is ridiculous.
Can they review goaltending or only in the last 2 minutes?
@harmlesslyfatal [[PJ3 4 MVP]] Of course... all MVP candidates play minutes like that.
Telfair just playing well, he does everything we need.
If he can control his shot selection, he could work for this team.
Lawson jumped into him. Not a foul on PJ3 anymore.
Refs don't know the rules.
Shall we start the PJ3 for all star campaign yet?
Stilll too soon? =P

Hand is part of the ball refs....
Jesus learn the rules.
If Telfair never shoots unless there is 2 seconds or less on the shot clock, I think he might work out fine.
That might be the most fun Thunder loss Ive ever watched. Quite an effort combined with an amazing amount of choke job by the Clippers.
3 weeks, 5 days ago on Thunder vs. Clippers: Pregame Primer
Durant with a scooter in the corner would at least draw a double team
Quite a reach in by Jordan there but whatever...
Clippers butt cheeks seriously clinched up. They are begging to lose to a Thunder team with 5 of its top 7 players out.
Roberson hit him right in the vagina
@DTVirgin I agreed until he took those shots. Inexcusably terrible
Royal Ivey is in OKC right? Let's bring him in for a bit.
Telfair might play 40 plus minutes next game if Russ cannot go...........
