I thought it was great fun and a original, new and unique story for Doctor Who. Nevertheless I did get slightly board at points...

Apologies just realized the opening is in the list!

I didn't really care for the date scene, i felt it ruined the pace that was built up. I would have definitely put in the opening in that list one of the most chilling peaces of dialogue "Why do we talk allowed when we know we're alone? Because we know we're not!" Brilliant!
I thought it was fantastic and got actually scared for the first time in ages! But I thought it had pitfalls i don't know why, after the children's home scene, we had to go back to the date. I felt that lost a lot of pace that was built up just fell flat. But it still is one of the best episodes this series...

Great episode much better than last weeks episode! Reminded me of a lot of classic episodes such as Genesis of The Daleks, Resurrection of The Daleks and Parting of the Ways. Danny Pink isn't to bad either!

Don't like it at all, the worst bit is when the TARDIS goes over the clocks the music is aweful to! I don't know they just don't have the original music you can beat it! I much preferred the series 7 title sequence because it looked believable in the context of space. I loved how the texture of the doctor who title was themed around the upcoming episode. In addition Matt Smiths face was very subtle in contrast the bad quality grainey image of Peter Capaldi that looks like it was put in at the last minute. Capaldi has been let down!

Capaldi and Coleman shined on what was a pretty weak storyline. Other down points include the new intro and theme and the terrible CGI. My favourite parts where the Alley Scene and Matt Smiths cameo.

Although David Tennant wasn't my favourite Doctor his debut was by far the best!

Hopefully it'll be better than all of the terrible Matt Smith Christmas specials! The trick is not to set it totally around Christmas

WHAT! Capaldi is bloody right! I love the old cybermen they display the whole idea that Gerry Davis was trying to portray now because of their design they have lost their way thus making them not scary in the slightest...

I genuinely love this episode - I perhaps think they could have come up with a different monster instead of making the cybermen even more tame but otherwise a great episode!

I'm can't wait I love the darker tones they create a lot more impact and suspense. Just think back to The Unqiet Dead episode or Blink they were awesome! Also the classic episodes were very dark for example The Auton episodes or the Sea Devils it's only recently they've been tame...

Here we go the dawn of the chesey American actors, have forgotten about the dreadful actor who played the Master in the TV movie?! Please bring the Master back but make him a good British actor!!

I am a huge Moffat fan, but I have to say RTD era arcs are currently a lot better. The Mr Saxon arc was my favourite as it was so subtle nevertheless RTD always seemed to ruin the quality somewhat by basing it on love and ending with a kiss which is dull. With Moffat he seams to build up a great sense of tension and then gets board and either rushes or doesn't finish it so it doesn't have a satisfactorily end.

Good to see a woman directing but it's a shame they couldn't find a British woman to direct. I fear this is the end of Americans working on Doctor Who...

Ever since they changed the design from Tenth Planet the cybermen have got worse, saying that the Patrick Troughton stories are fantastic. Nevertheless cybermen are living corpses they are zombies that's why they are scary in Tenth Planet you can see evidence of a humanoid figure under that cloth. And why did they have to make them human? Mondas was a perfectly good enough story! Bring back Kit Pedeler's idea I say!

I really think this should be done in the new series

I thought the Crilatains and Jadoon were terrible but I would love a Syckorax/Dream Lord/Trixter episode.
