Future Amy: All those boys chasing me, but it was only ever Rory. Why was that?
Amy: You know when sometimes you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they're as dull as a brick? Then there's other people, when you meet them you think, "Not bad. They're okay." And then you get to know them and... and their face just sort of becomes them. Like their personality's written all over it. And they just turn into something so beautiful.
Both: Rory's the most beautiful man I've ever met
.Amy: Please. Do it for him
.Future Amy: Ah, you. You're asking me to defy destiny, causality, the nexus of time itself, for a boy.
Amy: You're Amy. He's Rory. And oh yes, I am.

@PaddyB: Founding Father of R.O.S.E. Thats really sad , but the emotional punch you described is now totally ruined. When I rewatched Army of Ghosts/Doomsday, having watched The Stolen Earth/Journeys End, I didnt just cry(like the first time I watched it) , I almost laughed , and thats one of the (many) reasons that make me hate the finale of series 4 so much.

OK then... The only thing you do is asking others to explain their opinion without having explained yours first. It could be very interesting to hear what makes (IYO) the current dynamic similar to which Rose, Martha, Donna, Amy and even Eleven's Clara had.

@Erga kai Hemerai No , no Mathieson wrote those great scenes. Moffat just forced him to say so (probably by holding him up at the point of a gun)! *This is obviously sarcasm , but the sad thing is that some ''fans'' could have said it not in a sarcastic way*
Dark Water/Death in Heaven was so close... but in the end I voted for The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang...again. Sorry Missy! ''No!No!I dont say something nice'' *vaporized*

Gongrats for these articles! They were great! Yesssssssssssssss!!!!!! NOT ANOTHER FINALE BELOW THE FINALE OF SERIES FOUR!!!! Dark Water/Death in Heaven is my third favorite finale. It explored very dark almost disturbing themes in the most effective way. It managed to conclude satisfactorily the story arc and the character arcs at the same time while being bold , epic , heartbreaking(and thats an understatement). I cant say how much I adore Missy! Such a great villain , well written and syperbly acted! Four favorite scenes: the revelation of the Cybermen in the dark water , the rise of the Cybermen from the graves (I think both scenes will become classic Cybermen scenes in the future) , *sorry I have to quote it , because its so powerful* ''The Doctor: Clara? You asked me what we're going to do, I told ya. We're going to go to hell, or wherever it is people go when they die, if there is anywhere. Whatever it is we're gonna go there and we're gonna find Danny. And if it is in any way possible, we're going to bring him home. Every culture has a concept of an afterlife. I always meant to have a look around, see if I could find one.Clara: You're going to help me?The Doctor: Well, why wouldn't I help you?Clara: Because of what I just did, I just...The Doctor: You betrayed me. You betrayed our trust, you betrayed our friendship, you betrayed everything that I've ever stood for. You let me down!Clara: Then why are you helping me?The Doctor: Why? Do you think that I care for you so little that betraying me would make a difference?'' and the scene in the cafe (one of the best character based scenes)

@Huknar @TheOncomingHurricane The horrible idea of the Meta Crisis 10 , Doctor-Donna pushing buttons to make the Daleks spin around(for Gods sake!!!), Rose returns and gets his own copy of the Doctor a.k.a the most absolute and effective way to ruin the truly heartbreaking Roses exit in Series 2, The Doctor must delete Donas memories otherwise she will die , and then in ''The End of Time'' she remembers and what exactly happens??????? I would like your opinion on how exactly all these make a satisfying ending.

@The 14th Doctor '...'at least lay the foundations of resolution from that very beginning.''. So you dislike ALL the resolutions of ALL the finales. Especially the finale of series 4 must be a real nightmare for you.
@NotsoSmartguy is trapped in the Spiderverse If only people understood that their opinion is respectable but NOT a fact... Its the way the internet works... people think that its a magic brainwashing machine. You post a comment and then it becomes an undeniable fact.
@The17thDoctor What is weird about it??? At the end one of the finales would be at the last place. Thats the definition of ranking. If you angry with it or not is a completely different matter!!!

@supercyberlumic How can two of the best finales (series 2/series6) be below one of the most shocking 105 minutes Ive ever watched. (key word:O-P-I-N-I-O-N)
@Aztecs, Daleks and Cavemen @Aspiring Lion Dont expect an answer:Its easier to criticize an idea than to come up with one.
I really cant understand what is so wrong about the Tesselecta resolution and in what way it is a cop-out. It was something established. I think it was a great classic red herring-twist for both the Doctor and us: a misinterpreted fixed point in time. The real fixed point was River shooting the Tesselecta and then Doctor ''deleting himself'' not River shooting and the Doctor being dead , something that Doctor realised when the Tesselecta asked him if he needed something. Did anyone expect that the Doctor was dead?????????????????? Maybe its a case of ''it wasnt what I wanted it to be'' (if you can judge based on fan fiction , its very fortunate that fans dont get what they want...). A solid 8/10 from me.
@NotsoSmartguy is trapped in the Spiderverse And dont forget: The Tardis explodes while River is inside!

I need the ID, the phone number and the address of those 10 people! TPO/BB is my favorite finale and one of my favorite episodes in general. Its a great conclusion to a very clever and well-thought-out arc(IMO). Its everything that Doctor Who can be: witty, epic, scary, funny, emotional and timey-wimey at the same time! Everything is perfect: the production , the direction, the script, the dialogue, the acting. The first part is an epic adventure , ending with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger , whereas the second part is a bold witty timey wimey romp. It contains four of my favorite scenes: The Cyber-head scene , the Stonehedge speech , ''fezzes are cool'' and the absolutely beautiful ''something old...'' speech.

@stargazer0118 To be fair it wasnt the power of someones mind, it was the Pandorica and the exploding Tardis. Yes, Amy brought back the Doctor and I hadnt any problem with that, because of the very clever scene in ''Flesh and Stone'' with the second Doctor and the beautiful ''something borrowed...'' speech. These scenes developed the idea. Definitely my favourite finale.

@Unibot Couldnt agree more! It is a sweeping generalisation that emerged after ''The Nighmare in Silver'' (yes Angie was awful). Lets think the facts for a moment: How many well received (or not , thats a matter of opinion) episodes included kids who acted at least decently? Well: The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances , The Girl in the Fireplace , Human Nature / Family of Blood , Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead , The Eleventh Hour , The Beast Below , The Big Bang , A Christmas Carol , The Snowmen , The Rings of Akhaten , Listen.

@Ottoman14 Last series Clara was ''too perfect'' , ''a Disney character'' , ''a plot device'' and now the problem is that she has a complete personality with flaws? It seems to me a bit ''whining for the shake of whining'' and it is becoming quite tedious.
Oh , the fifth photo... I can almost picture the scene: Doctor: ''Clara , is he your boyfriend?''
