Real cellophane made from cellulose or fake cellophane (crinkly, noisy plastic)?

Do you get your teeth cleaned at the dentist? The baking soda stuff they shoot on at the end has aspartame in it. I could taste the sweetness in the residue around my mouth and immediately I started to get a migraine headache. Ask for plain baking soda.
Pump bottles siting in the shower get water through the top into the pump and bottle so keep them out of the direct spray. Those screw-on tops that you press and the side of the top pops up to dispense the shampoo can be taken apart and scrubbed with an old toothbrush.
@BethTerry Thank you, I forget about teeth. I like the idea of showing the straw to remind them. Pretty soon there will be a "no straw" button on the servers' ordering computer.

Please explain to me why adults need to suck on straws.
Try the Asian grocery stores.
@BethTerry Thanks for your excellent research. I don't take a plastic bag, bring my own bags. When I ask for no dry cleaning bag or straw in my drink, for instance, these things come anyway. I have trouble with service people who are on auto-pilot or brain-affected by RFID, wifi and cell phone signals.

@Jessie Krebs Good advice. Be advised that pool diatomaceous earth is not the same as what you want for pest control or internal parasites.

@Niki Good idea to use wheat for cat litter. Modern wheat should not be eaten by humans, pets, livestock or chickens.
@Jax See www.dirtdoctor.com to see how to feed the good bacteria in your soil to have a healthier yard. He has healthy flea control also. AND feed your animals the proper food to keep them healthy so the fleas won't want to bite. Diatomaceous earth should be sprinkled everywhere: it is non-toxic to everyone.
@BethTerry @AlliePhillips @AnoSinPlastico All of the grocery stores take plastic bags even if you cannot see the container to put it into. Plastic bags include grocery bags, produce bags, drycleaning bags (no paper stapled on) with no receipts in the bags: any bag that does not make a noise. This plastic is used to make the Trex and similar fake wood for decking.
You deserve Straus ice cream for all the hard work you are doing to raise the awareness of plastic use gone wild. Keep in mind with quality ice cream you eat less so the carton of ice cream lasts longer. You can use the carton for a plant pot, too.
You can't believe how excited I am to see that Disneyland recycles! Can you post that right at the top of your blog and website along with other places that do that?
Do not go to Bali, Indonesia if you want to avoid plastic. We have our own house so I can be more careful. However the only thing I can burn that is not plastic is used toilet paper and boxes that the light bulbs come in! There is a lot of cellophane for things that don't need to be really airtight in this un-airconditioned and very humid climate.

@Sunny They throw the used soap away. However, I read about a guy several years ago that collects used soap from hotels and reprocesses somehow. You can get a soap holder (check Beth's site for non-plastic, mine is plastic, 20 years old and still good so I use it) to bring your own soap or keep the one from your first stay. There is a charity in every city that will take the soap if you accidently bring it home to give to people who need it.
@eascello You can make your own: add molasses to white sugar.

@Daxle See if a Mexican restaurant that makes their own will sell you some.
