Not one single episode from the classic era? No Genesis, Pyramids, Remembrance? Stories that caused many, many people to fall in love with the show. You do realise that Doctor Who started in 1963, not 2005?

Categorically NO! If it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's one of the most recognisable, iconic theme tunes ever made. Just do me a favour, and take out all those bloody stupid thunderclaps. Completely ruining an otherwise superb piece of music (why do I suspect Moffat is behind them?).
Personally, one of my favourite versions was the TV Movie.. Shame we only ever got to hear it once.. Thought it had a really good, orchestral sound.
Doctor Who is already being changed too much for my liking.. Changing the theme would be an absolute disaster. Murray Gold is one of the best things to happen to Doctor Who since it returned.. His incidental music is divine! Getting him to change the theme would rapidly make him a pariah. Leave it alone.. It's brilliant!

Journeys End.. For the same reason as I voted for Stolen Earth.. Lis Sladen, and to a degree, Tommy Knight.. Just the scene where Sarah clutches Luke on seeing the Daleks is one of the finest moments of any Who episode. The chemistry between the two of them is outstanding at the best of times, but it absolutely shines in this story.
Pretty much anything with Lis in is always going to sway my opinion.. I'm biased.. She's MY Sarah Jane, and she bloody rocks eveything she's in!

I know I'm going to be in an absolute minority, probably of just one (me!), but I thought The Doctor's Wife was one of the worst episodes since the series returned. The idea of a talking TARDIS fills me with horror! It's just too far removed from Classic Who.. I know things progress, but certain things just don't need interfering with. While I'm at it, can we PLEASE have less of that bloody sonic screwdriver! It's turned into a deus ex machina for everything.
And another thing.. Cybermen.. Lose the 'delete' catchphrase. It makes you sound like a lazy Dalek clone. Not every enemy needs a catchphrase.. Neither does the Doctor, come to that.. "Fantastic, Allons-y, Geronimo...". Not needed!
And, while I'm on a ranting roll.. For the love of all sanity, get rid of the damn Paternoster Gang.. Sontarans are supposed to be warlike, scary enemies, not a comic foil to a lizard. Which should also be sinister. And not have human eyes.
All of those are pet hates.. A permanent TARDIS "companion" added to the mix would probably be enough for me to give up with the show.. something I really don't want to do.

School Reunion, hands down. Much as I love Planet of the Ood, and Season four in general, it comes down to two words... Lis Sladen. Enough said!

It just goes to show how differently people view/rate episodes! Day of the Doctor was a predictable win, perhaps rightly so, although personally, I'd have rated Vincent and the Doctor at number 1, with Day a close second.
The one that really surprised me, both in terms of ranking and general appreciation/comments is The Doctors Wife. Mine is clearly an opinion in the minority, but one which I'm entitled to hold, and you are equally entitled to disagree with, so please don't shoot me down! For me, personally, it is, quite simply, one of the worst episodes of Doctor Who. Ever. It's not in the same pit of despair as Fear Her, or the abysmal Love and Monsters, but in my opinion it's terrible! Maybe it's the traditionalist in me, but the TARDIS coming to "life", and with such "attitude" just plain stinks!
I've nothing against Neil Gaiman.. I loved Neverwhere, but as a writer for Doctor a Who, he's terrible. Nightmare in Silver is a complete mess as well, in my humble opinion. Between Wife and Silver, there is way too much messing about with traditional Who for my liking, and Wife is the biggest offender of the lot.
Please bear in mind, this is my OPINION.. I fully respect that a lot of people liked Doctors Wife, and I don't think they are idiots for liking it, or anything like that.. I just don't shone to be one of 'em!
