The cop needed "Probable Cause" .

The simple act of carrying a firearm openly in an "Open Carry" State, does not meet the threshold

A phoned in complaint by an anonymous caller certainly does not meet the threshold.

On the complaint, the officer has the authority to observe for criminal activity, but not to assume criminal intent.

It's a made for tv drama driven from the beginning by the media so they could have a circus act with which to amaze and astound the observers.

In the early days of TV broadcasting, the news was presented without commercials because the news was a requirement of their broadcast license.

In the very early 60's the FCC changed the rules to allow broadcasters to sell airtime during the news.

Shortly thereafter, the media astounded the world with the very first TV organized and fomented race riots to be televised.

The price of airtime during the news blossomed into the biggest money maker in the news business, and the dynasties began....

From a half-hour required newscast to non-stop news created to fill the corporate coffers in one small alteration of the rules.

Historical FACT.

IF the ENTIRE COMMUNITY would band together and file criminal charges under:

"Title 18, U.S.C., Section 241
Conspiracy Against Rights

This statute makes it unlawful for two or more persons to conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person of any state, territory or district in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him/her by the Constitution or the laws of the United States, (or because of his/her having exercised the same).

It further makes it unlawful for two or more persons to go in disguise on the highway or on the premises of another with the intent to prevent or hinder his/her free exercise or enjoyment of any rights so secured.

Punishment varies from a fine or imprisonment of up to ten years, or both; and if death results, or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years, or for life, or may be sentenced to death."

It would slow this crap down until they find another way.

@dmac72@GrumpyOldGoatWhen it comes to education, I have a whole 'nuther plan for that.

One room schools... Americans that were educated in one room school houses did the best in OUR history. Today, in towns, cities and suburbs, the system needs very little alteration for todays population and culture. A modest house with kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a large living room will suffice. One teacher with an assistant, preferable parents that volunteer teaching
the older children, with older children teaching the younger ones how to
read and write and arithmetic.
The act of one generation teaching another generation builds a tremendous tie between the participants. Teachers would have the ability and authority to mete out corporal punishment, 'parents' who have a problem with that can always send their children to government schools. Older children, high school age, will have another school nearby for the upper levels for all nearby schools that they will attend 2 or 3 days per week. again, one room, one teacher and one volunteer assistant. Historically, Americas children that attended this type of school knew more about cognitive thinking that any college professors of todays universities.
Parents would be more than welcome to stop by and observe or help out with educating their own, and others children to ensure they actually LEARN the real history of America, ALL of the Founding documents, the
Federalist Papers, etc.
I feel certain that curriculum and subject matter could be obtained from Hillsdale College and others at minimal cost for digital copies. Think about it, study it, pass it around and see if it is doable in your neighborhood. It removes the union influences, the heavy hand of an oppressive government. This would build cohesion between the different age groups and solidify the communities they way they were 100 years ago.

Tommy, 18, teaches Suzy, 6, her alphabet and beginning reading and writing. Tommy graduates and gets married. 8 years later, Suzy, now 14, teaches Tommys son, the alphabet, or
arithmetic, spelling, etc until she graduates. The cycle continues... “Grade” schools divide and separate children into a system that is unrelated to the health and welfare of the community as a whole and the community loses the cohesion necessary to stand together whenever danger or need arises. With Parent volunteers on hand every day, the teachers can be judged and evaluated and if a teacher is found to be lacking in strong moral, ethical and Honest character traits, it will be a simple process to remove that teacher and replace with a more acceptable person.

Law degree not required, just a SOLID knowledge of the Constitution. Most legislated laws in the last hundred years are blatantly UnConstitutional anyway.

Juries, well versed in the Constitution and COMMON SENSE.

The legal profession is corrupt and in need of dismantling.

Politicians and bureaucrats that have used their positions to violate the Constitution and the RIGHTS of the People face numerous possibilities for punishments if found guilty in the new judicial system.

Years in prison at hard labor.

Loss of Citizenship and expelled from the country forever.

The JURY needs to declare the law UNCONSTITUTIONAL, and recommend prosecution of the school administration, the 'arresting officer', his supervisors, the chief of police, the DA and the sitting judge for Conspiracy.

To whit:

Title 18, U.S.C., Section 242
Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law

This statute makes it a crime for any person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to willfully deprive or cause to be deprived from any person those rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution and laws of the U.S.

This law further prohibits a person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation or custom to willfully subject or cause to be subjected any person to different punishments, pains, or penalties, than those prescribed for punishment of citizens on account of such person being an alien or by reason of his/her color or race.

Acts under "color of any law" include acts not only done by federal, state, or local officials within the bounds or limits of their lawful authority, but also acts done without and beyond the bounds of their lawful authority; provided that, in order for unlawful acts of any official to be done under "color of any law," the unlawful acts must be done while such official is purporting or pretending to act in the performance of his/her official duties. This definition includes, in addition to law enforcement officials, individuals such as Mayors, Council persons, Judges, Nursing Home Proprietors, Security Guards, etc., persons who are bound by laws, statutes ordinances, or customs.

Punishment varies from a fine or imprisonment of up to one year, or both, and if bodily injury results or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire shall be fined or imprisoned up to ten years or both, and if death results, or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

Another directly applicable is :

Title 18, U.S.C., Section 241
Conspiracy Against Rights

This statute makes it unlawful for two or more persons to conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person of any state, territory or district in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him/her by the Constitution or the laws of the United States, (or because of his/her having exercised the same).
