Capaldi's new costume looks great

Sounds great. Capaldi definitely has potential for growth and improvement

Capaldi. I still don't understand why is War Doctor in this poll, he was a supporting character in only one episode while Capaldi is the regular Doctor.

Hardest choice so far. I really like Nine's personality and development. On the other hand, Ten is probably the most iconic Doctor in the modern era. I'll have to think.

@AnEarthlyChild @TheMadManWithABox True, but is it really comparable? Can you really compare someone who was the main character for 5 years with someone who was a supporting character in only one episode? Each Doctor has good and bad moments (same as writters) and just because he was good in one episode, it doesn't mean that he would be consistently good for five years. That's why I think that it's not fair to give him a higher score than any other Doctor.

Easiest choice so far. Voted for brilliant and legendary Eleventh Doctor!

Eleven is so eccentric, charismatic and his Doctor really acts as an alien. He was also not too serious. So, he is deffinitely my favourite Doctor and he should have stayed longer.

John Hurt is the great actor, but I think that it is not fair that someone who appeared as one of the three Doctors in only one episode get a higher score than someone who developed his Doctor for five years. So I think that he shouldn't have been included in this survey at all. Not because he is bad (because he is not) but because we just can't compare someone who was the main characters for five years with someone who was a supporting character in only one episode

I am reading comments and I definitely see the 'recent Doctor syndrome'. Capaldi is great Doctor but it's unrealistic that so many people think that he is the best Doctor (I can remember that the same thing happened with Smith and Tennant during their eras).

I am not vulnerable to that syndrome and I'll give him 7/10, realistically. He is great Doctor but there is still place for progress.

Also, Matt Smith is 'my Doctor' and I think he deserved to win, although all four Doctors are amazing.

I won't post my whole list here, but I calculated the correlation between the rankings on this list and my list. Correlation is 0.378977, so I partially agree with this list.

@madmanwithabox21 Well, everything in this episode was just too megalomanical. Firstly, RTD created too many episodes about invasions on present-day Earth. I know this is a sci-fi show but two invasions per year is just inconclusive. Also, the whole episode was action-oriented and resolved by deux-ex-macchina, there wasn't much mysteries that need to be resolved or clever storylines. Finally, I got the impression that all these characters returned just for its own sake. I like to see old characters back, but that was just too much... Rose, Martha and Donna would be enough.

I disagree with this. Night Terrors is soooo underrated episode. Also many of the other episodes on this list are more-less solid.

Anyway, my bottom list would be this:

1. Love and Monsters

2. The Rebel Flesh / The Almost People (why is this episode not on the list??)

3. The End of the World (ditto)

4. Rise of the Cyberman / The Age of Steel

5. Boom Town

6. The Lazarus Experiment

7. Dark Water / Death in Heaven

8. The Runaway Bride

9. The Stolen Earth / Journey's End

10. Daleks in Manhattan / Evolution of the Daleks

Pandorica, one of my favourite episodes ever. If not the best.

Eleventh Hour is a great episode, but Pandorica is just perfect! This is how the finale should look like - mystery oriented, timey wimey, arch heavy and not on the present day Earth.

Kill the Moon - 7/10 first half was a little bit boring, but the second half and the dilemma was very original and well written.

Mummy 9.5/10 Scary and impressive.

Flatline 10/10 I have always taught that Fear Her was a great idea but the episode itself wasn't that good. In Flatline, the idea was similar, but the episode was great! Dark and funny. Fantastic!!!

Nine could work with Martha or Clara very well, but I'm not very sure about Donna and Amy. They would probably irritated him.

Ten+Amy I'really not sure. It's hard to imagine but it would be interesting to see.

Ten+Clara We've seen that in TDOTD and it worked very well.

Eleven would be awesome with any companion LOL

Twelve... I'm not sure. Maybe it would be interesting to see him with Donna. It would be very interesting relationship.
