@Sbart The only problem with that is if your contract is up or near up, Verizon at any time can decide to pull the plug on your unlimited data plan and force you to drop to 2GB or into one of their horrendous "Share Everything" plans. That's why it would've been a fantastic idea to renew a contract the day before they stop offering unlimited plans because Verizon can't take it away from you for 2 years.
I know contracts can be a bad thing, especially the 3 year stuff in Canada, but if I could be guaranteed unlimited LTE data from Verizon for 3 years, I'd take that in a heartbeat. I mean they technically could, but then your contract would be void and you'd have a phone you could possibly sell and make even more than you did when you bought it subsidized. That is, assuming my understanding of Verizon phones is correct that you could take a used Verizon phone and sell it to someone else so that they could use with their plan.
@JQuest81 That's the problem, they AREN'T pumping out AAA quality titles the way they did with the Gamecube. That's the problem. Nintendo is prioritizing this "revolution" crap over quality games. Nintendo would rather innovate than release quality titles which bothers me the most. And Microsoft and Sony are following suit because it brings in cash, even though it ends up in terrible games being made. How many great Kinect games have there been? How many PS Move games have there been? And I don't count great games that have added Move/Kinect support. The fact is Nintendo has far fewer AAA quality titles than Microsoft and Nintendo, partially because the Wii's BS prevents those great crossplatform games from coming out on the Wii. And if they do come out, it's heavily modified and almost always inferior to the 360/PS3 versions.
Nintendo is trying to fix what ain't broke. If this OUYA thing means i can play games with a regular, simple controller that I don't have to flail around like an idiot, I'm sold. If Nintendo would quit trying to reinvent the wheel and just release traditional consoles to directly compete with the 360 and PS3, they'd be able to pump out some killer games while being able to support those great cross platform games like COD, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, Mass Effect, etc. The only reason I'd ever buy a Nintendo console is for the 1st party games like Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong. But this motion controller gaming crap makes me want to stay the hell away.
Nintendo is destroying traditional gaming more than OUYA EVER could. If you want to get mad at someone for the demise of traditional gaming, get mad at Nintendo.
@NickSoucy Google couldn't sue even if they wanted to because Android is apparenlty open source. But it's half-assed open source anyway, so the fact it's open source is biting them in the ass.
I think it's a bit of karma that Google bullshits their way through everything claiming they aren't evil when they are one of the most fucked up corporations out there.
I agree 100% with the article. The phone isn't bad, it's just an extreme letdown by Samsung. I expected a lot more from Samsung. I mean Samsung just Samsung'd themselves because HTC One X is a far better flagship device in my opinion.
@amdestined Look, obviously you haven't learned English grammar, or whoever taught you grammar clearly sucked or didn't do a good job, but let's have a quick grammar lesson.
You use less when what you're referring to can't be quantified. Like less smoke, less pain, less emotion.
You use fewer when what you're referring to can be quantified. Like fewer apples, fewer books, fewer PHONES.
So yeah, whoever wrote the article clearly doesn't understand simple English grammar and neither do you. So instead of pretending that you know what you're talking about and saying I'm wrong, how about you go back to school, or better yet just Google it. It's not very complicated, and thousands of sites can tell you the exact same thing i just said.
Really? Less Phones? FEWER PHONES! How can professional bloggers and editors screw up such simple grammar?!
