@BloodyGneisha Water it is.
2 weeks ago on Why do You Need a Professional Guild Site?
@Jasyla Nope. We usually wait a second or two before they pounce in anyway. With only one DK, I don't know how often we could pull it off.

@TedtheThird @mattuzzi OH, that guy. Yeah, I saw that too. I think we actually had two sets of the big Troll? I just said screw it and called for Heroism to kill it asap.

@TedtheThird Which trash packs?
@6BigZ6 Oh absolutely. There's some fantastic coaches who've been able to get more out of their team. I'd have to do some research to look some of them up some more. Vince Lombardi. Phil Jackson. Scotty Bowman.

@rverghes Forgot to clarify that. If you're targeted by lightning, it must make contact. It doesn't despawn and you can't out kite it. You can speed boost temporarily but it'll always eventually hit you.

@Viktory I can hear the screams of "BUT ITS NOT A JOB. HAVE TO RAID EVERY LOCKOUT TO REMAIN COMPETITIVE".
3 months, 3 weeks ago on Thunderforged: Will it Breathe Life into 25 mans?
@TedtheThird Thanks for the post and the thoughts, Ted!
@TedtheThird @Darthkeller I don't necessarily agree with that sentiment fully, Darth. At the 25 man level, DPS checks are going to be horrendously tight. The 10 man level I've found to be a little more relaxed because of the numbers difference between 10 and 25. The reason being is that 10 man groups are extremely limited in which classes and compositions they run that's why the DPS checks aren't going to be as tight otherwise guilds with slightly non-optimal comps won't be able to compete with the guilds that have players with multiple alts (and are flexible). There's been periods where I've actually had a full roster but was tempted to deliberately go shorthanded on a heroic boss because they weren't able to pull off certain mechanics (Arcane Resonance, Amber, Teron Gorefiend, etc).
@JThelen That's probably why I'm not as moved by the amount of "work" that needs to be done this tier. Because I've done much more during vanilla and so forth.
* Farm your TUBERS. Need 40 per raid.
* Farm your Dark Runes from Scholomance or buy them. Or Demonic Stones (the soulbound ones that restored mana at the cost of health)
* Fire resist pots. Farm the mats, get them made.
* Farm Runecloth, sell it for gold.
Can't remember the rest, but I think those were the main ones.

@Shanthi I also forgot to factor in default Shadowfiend.

@LedonLite Thanks! We were able to take him down to 5%. Now we just need to refine our sub 20%s.
@Neowolf2 Bahh, too lazy to fish. You can teach a man to fish but you can't motivate him!
4 months ago on Challenge Mode: Part 2 – Scholomance
@JThelen Oh definitely. We put some methodical learning shots on it tonight. I think we can score at least a silver. We just need to tighten it up on certain trash pulls. We were able to take down Lilian easiliy with 4 DPS and using potions/Heroism/Cooldowns when she hit 60% health. Now we just need to solve Gandling. I found out too late I was supposed to heal from up high in the rafters instead of on the stairs. Whoops.

@Axxeli Huh, I'll look into those!
@Gibreel Figure two on my head. I think I can put two on each hand. If I balance on one foot, I can place one on the other. If I angle my arms right, I can nail the elbows too. ^^

@Suzushiiro Sigh of relief.
Now I can go back to wearing sunglasses for cosmetic raiding.

@Shanthi I was factoring Raid Finder into the mix.
Doesn't that give like 90 at the end of it?
7 months ago on Dailies and Valor: Almost Out of the Woods
@Roldarin Assuming you're not raiding, then yeah, that's definitely a snails pace. Something like what, 14+ weeks just to outfit your character with items?
But that's assuming one only goes the valor route. There's always craftables as another "stream".
@amkosh @mattuzzi Oh yes, I think multiple difficulties were a wonderful solution. I liked it when LFR came out. I like the 10 man accessibility. I like having options. Single player games have your story mode, and then your Nightmare mode. But I don't know how one can really "translate" that into an online, virtual world where there's so much intertwining. You don't really want to segregate too much of the game because then it divides up the communtiy even further.
