well duh dude! what other movie/s that you've seen has the director, or writer, or producer, or actor/s, or even the fucking water boy asked you to assist with? but if you knew John Woo had to gain access to a speed boat through means of fans in that boat-chase scene in Face Off, that is all you'd be able to think about rather then getting lost in the magic of a high-octane action/adventure when watching it.
@xisthisloadedx haha, exactly
@GreatSoren all you did was describe what an indie film is. and because it is fan-funded means he can't put a single cent of his own towards it?...
@MRCAB @SensibleVoice that's more then 10 times Clerks' cost.....
@Doogrisa @SensibleVoice btw: for someone who isn't "retarded" you fail to know "alot" is not a word. and you misused "apart". in it's context it would be "a", because you're directing the statement at one particular thing, then "part" meaning a single piece of the "a".
@RyanSanders at least they're guaranteed to get something when they fork over they're hard earned $$$.
@macrojd @SensibleVoice "all your bases are belong to us."
@Doogrisa @SensibleVoice powerful argument
@AndrewMullins @DBZMagus not wanting to take a risk shows a clear lack of confidence from the producer/creator. if they believed in their project, their Mona Lisa, so much they'd take the "risk" knowing it had no other option then to pay-off. this way leaves too much of a cushion for james for me to feel comfortable with.
@Jasonpaine714 i got my LPN in 2004, 3 years after graduation from high school. since then i've been on my own, accept for when me and my finace moved in together. and no, the red cross was taking 5, 10, and 20 dollar donations, plus tax and txt rates might i add ( F'ing Bullshit!). BTW, kevin smith made clerks (very on par with what we've come to expect from james) with 25k-30k$. continuing with his formula he made "the jersey trilogy" which really gave him bragging rights/clout. now he's a near household name.
@macrojd @Destoroyah @PatrickZac yeah mine died in august. dog that is. i am sorry about your parents. i don't think staring at a picture of the 2 (you and yer dog) of you all day is healthy. i'm certainly no therapist or life coach, but uh.... yeah, thanks for answering my question
@macrojd @xisthisloadedx @Destoroyah @PatrickSayan it's called a business loan, similar to a mortgage with the exception of needing some sort of business plan and projection estimates.
@macrojd @Khameleon @Olivania @TheShervinator dude, getting james' signature doesn't make him less of a stranger. you're world sounds very small and sad if you think you develop a relationship with someone you idolize just by them scribbling their name on some scrap paper.
@macrojd @Olivania @TheShervinator oh you mean comic-cons, or game-cons, like PAX? lol, yeah real redcarpet events. my cousin used to ink fror Silver Surfer, he lives in San Diego, so as a result i've been to san diego comic-con a couple times, i'm certainly not famous. furthermore, i asked some dude in a Michelangelo costume at the TMNT "Out of Their Shells" tour for an autograph. everyone who paid for a ticket did, i wouldn't call the guy in a costume famous.....
@macrojd @DBZMagus hey man. i really need some help, i'm a little behind right now and, if you are able to, i could really use some financial help. please help if you can. i know others have helped me already, but i need some more. please if you could, it would be awesome. i'm not begging, i'm just trying to raise some funds, or fundraising. lol, riiiiiiight dude that's not begging at all.....
@rocknrollheart @DBZMagus if it's independent you don't have a due date. you independently make the feature, then go around and try to sell it. and how many cinema projects do you have under your belt anyways? you seem to know a lot...
@Destoroyah @metalcommand agreed
@macrojd @Destoroyah @PatrickZac dude, your icon is of you with your molester 'stasch and your dog..... either you're a very lonely man (obvious because yer friends would have told you to shave that thing off), or you receive monthly SSI checks because the government deemed you unfit for employment.
