For a guy that won't take the big shot it's hard to believe he would be MVP. KD lives for the big shot. Head to head KD avged. 29 ppg compared to Labron's 20.5. rebounds KD 6.5 to James 5. Labron carried the assist with a total of 17 to Kevins's 11. OKC won 1 more game than the Heat. If KD was on the left or right coast he would have slammed dunked this award. Not to mention Durant doesn't know the word "quit". I can understand Labron leaving Cleveland but when he turned it in during the playoffs a couple of years ago one would wonder. Besides that they seem like two great kids! Three time scoring champ snubbed again. Thanks ago, more fuel for the fire in the playoffs.
Coach I would like to know how many points Russell scores in the paint opposed to his jump shot? His jump shot merely sets up his penetration game. Although he has been on a shooting streak of late he stills gets to the rim an exorbitant amount of time therefore misleading the amounts of jump shots he takes.
2 years, 9 months ago on TGR 75: Why the Thunder won’t be champs
I couldn’t disagree more. Coach Brooks has taken very young men and turned them into seasoned pros. They’re humble, hard-working, classy, and not crybabies like Dirk and Kobe. Back during our first year I asked the coach why he hadn’t got a technical that season. We were obviously getting no calls, breaks, or respect from the league. He said these young guys didn’t need to focus on what the officials were doing, they needed to concentrate on winning and playing the game the right way. Now after three years they have earned the respect of the NBA including the officials. We are now the team that gets the breaks. A well-played move by a coach that has been in the league for years. Coach knows how to motivate without showing up his players, referees, or opponents. A philosophy that has taken us to the best record in the West.
