@Cameron19 @Yan28 @philthethrill Ok, not a bad idea. I am not sure Nonis would even do that though. This trade dealing we need to be sellers no matter where we stand.

@T K O I know that shit is getting really annoying. I think O Dog has a real problem and needs to look into it.
Toronto Maple Leafs should envy the Buffalo Sabres who are (at least) losing with a purpose_____The Leafs, who entered Tuesday night’s game against the Sabres tied for
third-last place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 3-4-1
record, are clearly not good enough to win a Stanley Cup. But they are
also not bad enough to get into the McDavid or Eichel sweepstakes.
They are everything you don’t want to be in a cap system: a bubble
team with zero flexibility. And there is no indication that it is going
There are nine Toronto players locked up until 2018 or beyond. That
does not include the US$1.3-million that the team is paying Tim Gleason,
who was bought out in the off-season, for each of the next four
seasons. Or the money that is earmarked for Jonathan Bernier and Nazem
Kadri, who are both due big raises as restricted free agents next
In other words, don’t hold out hope that Jason Spezza, a pending
unrestricted free agent, is coming to Toronto. Even if the Leafs wanted
to sign him, there is no money. The team you see today will likely be
the one you’ll see next season. And the one after that. And the one
after that, and so on.
@Dangle_My_Berries 5 assists in all of the 42 games he played in his first year with the Leafs.
1 day, 12 hours ago on Game Review: Game #9, Toronto Maple Leafs 4 vs. Buffalo Sabres 0
@Dangle_My_Berries 6 assists already.
@Burtonboy @Yan28 Stop being sentimental and realize it's time to move on from the guy and if that's the only way it would take to see how the team would play without him then so be it.
@Burtonboy @Yan28 Yup. He's leading the league penalties right now by the way, with 9.
1 day, 13 hours ago on Game Review: Game #9, Toronto Maple Leafs 4 vs. Buffalo Sabres 0
@Burtonboy I was actually happy we might see him out of the line up for a while. Wanted to see how the team would play without him.
@dlb Mad @Yan28 But how dumb is Randy not to have figured it out himself over 2 years?
Steve Spott on the Jeff Blair Show. Sounds like the assistants pushed to change up the lines. http://www.sportsnet.ca/590/jeff-blair-show/spott-preaching-structure-for-maple-leafs-to-succeed/
@BoneChompski @ingy56 Haha made my day

@ingy56 @DeclanK Hey he fixed TFC. His work is done here.
2 days, 10 hours ago on Tuesday Mashup: Randy is sneaky
@DeclanK Bitch-ass snake move
It's not just Eichel / David
What's this stuff about not tanking cause we won't be bad enough to finish 1st? We can finish at the bottom 5 easily and there's game changers all over this draft.
@MaxwellHowe @Yan28 Bottom 5 not last.
2 days, 13 hours ago on Leafs Notebook – October 28
That's my thoughts after watching Edmonton play yesterday.
Guys, relax. We're finishing bottom 5 and getting a good pick.
The Leafs aren't selling their games out like they used to. Every game I get an email that seats are still available and not just singles like before, but doubles and etc... That's a terrific sign.
Makes me really respect this guy. From Friedman's 30 Thoughts.
7. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored the game winner
against Tampa Bay and the game-tier versus Washington in back-to-back
games. He’s got a much-improved shot. He’s stronger and made it a summer
project. “Shot 100 pucks four times a week,” he said. “Shooting as hard
as I can…High blocker, high glove, low glove, around the horn.” Didn’t think he could beat Ben Bishop
from where he did, but Nugent-Hopkins said, “If I shot up high, the
chances of beating him from that spot were pretty low….Besides, I like
going low blocker or (low) glove.”
8. Nugent-Hopkins had an obvious goal for 2014-15:
make the playoffs. His personal desire, however, is to become a 50-50
face-off man. Career numbers are 37.5 percent (2011-12), 41 percent
(2012-13), 42.4 (2013-14) and 47.4 so far this season.

@ingy56 @MikeGartner11 Cap move? Who are we making space for?
3 days, 12 hours ago on Monday Mashup: Picking up where they left off
@ninepaces @Yaknowwhat We have to blow it up. No question about that.
@ninepaces You can win with Kessel if he's tucked away somewhere, you can Never win with Kessel as your go to guy.
@ingy56 Fuck, they're trying to Win.
@sniperstar @Yan28 I wasn't a fan of Kadri in the past, but the way I look at it right now he's the best C on the team at the moment. I would trade Bozak as part of a package. Just want to break up the boyfriends Kessel and Bozak that shit is getting on my nerves already.
3 days, 13 hours ago on Monday Mashup: Picking up where they left off
@sniperstar @Yan28 I am not pushing for a Kadri trade, just saying it's a waste to trade him for an older player.
Kadri and Gardiner should only be moved out for other young players that might be more of a fit. Bozak, Phaneuf, Kessel and other players should be moved for picks and prospects. Don't give me who's gonna play in Dion's spot and take his minutes crap, doesn't matter cause the worse we finish the better.
@ingy56 @Yan28 @B_Leaf I know if any type of deal can be made with the Oilers for their 1st we should do it though. Nurse is good.
3 days, 14 hours ago on Monday Mashup: Picking up where they left off
Aaron Ekblad has 2 assists in 7 games. -1.
@ingy56 @Yan28 @B_Leaf I really hope we go for their 1st too.
@ingy56 @B_Leaf Honestly would be a good deal. They need to get better now, we need to get better in the future. We need grit, they need puck possession.
@ingy56 @cryptotho smh
@cryptotho That's why I am thinking of going on the road for games, it's not really enjoyable when you pay top dollar to sit with a bunch of statues. No emotion whatsoever.
@Burtonboy Stupid rumor. I knew it was bullshit.
Don't agree but...https://twitter.com/Yea______Hockey/status/526481828463792128

"I'm not interested ... in a five-year rebuild like some of these teams
have done," said Burke. "Maybe because of my age, maybe just because I
know it doesn't have to be five years because it wasn't in Anaheim." Brian Burke
@ingy56 @Mitch92 Yeah with that lets everyone know that he's gonna say the same shit he said a million times before.
@T K O There's no official confirmation of this.
4 days, 2 hours ago on Game Review: Game #8, Boston Bruins 4 vs. Maple Leafs 1
@whalz That means nothing I don't see an official confirmation anywhere. That roster doesn't get updated for months.

@Jmessih @Yan28 NP.
@Jmessih Gauthier scored his 1st goal. Garrett Sparks injured in Orlando today. That's bout it.
@JWaterdrager @Yan28 The 3 collapses. History making collapses.
