I just get that RG3 feeling when I watch him now. He runs like Bambi, looks like he isn't comfortable in his own body

Have you noticed how frequently the Thunder front office embraces a populist stance, with all the "Community" T-shirts and such. Unless that hard-line stance changes, this team will always have a problem with players who outwardly voice any sense of independence from the system or who don't adhere to a predetermined chain-of-command. I don't have to cite the most obvious recent example
Fun little read I came across while killing time in the break room and absolutely, positively not reading up on the upcoming case. Sadly, no snarky Thunder "species" is included.
Yes. Life would not be worth living if I can't needlessly raise my stress levels and blood pressure in May and June
This is what ESPN/TNT execs are saying about Thunder games prior to the end of December
It will make for a good water cooler moment for my coworkers and I if I have to hear about how a metacarpal fracture two games in to an 82 game season somehow became a season ending injury
And if they disagree? You would be setting up a showdown that would have lasting repercussions when these guys become free agents, and with a questionable benefit
I think that your problem would be in convincing Russ and KD to intentionally sit out with bogus "injuries". How can you keep those two off the court barring further injury?
What would make you a happy fan? For a season ticket holder you seem to be a hell of a cynic
A trade exception?

That last play is a perfect microcosm of the quarter
I would prefer waiving myself
Glad we needed a TO to draw that up
Maybe Perk just needed bench minutes all along
Thomas is a dumpster fire right now
@Divine Mortal Looks like he is in the giving mood instead
For someone who flashes such athleticism on offense, Reggie really struggles to stay in front of people on D
Incredible D that series
@kevindurant35 Back from the grave per Milwaukee injury report
Lance Thomas looks more like a slightly more human trashcan
@d21 From the 3 point line no less
@DaPoint @ I’m out man. Y’all n***** trippin’ Bucks announcers keep showing him as out for the game
So I guess Morrow is out?
@d21 Googled him and they called him "The European Derrick Rose". You don't often find MVPs on the waiver wire, so I say sign him

I am done listening to Simmons talk about this team. Ever.
The problem with a $12 million trade exception is that it cannot be combined with any other assets when you are trading. How often are there players with that kind of contract that the Thunder would find attractive? The team trading that player away is basically just buying that player out without it counting against the cap
What is the best Reggie-must-go scenario for the Thunder?
A: Resign Reggie for a number slightly higher than what you are optimally willing to pay. This would be done with the intention to continue controlling his rights while shopping him and and then to move him as part of a deal for another player(s)
B: Let him walk in a S&T that generates a trade exception
Given how history has played out (I don't have to mention what trade), Presti obviously favors B. I think it is interesting that option B gives supposedly more flexibility due to avoiding the cap, even though in reality it seems to be the more limiting option. You cannot generate something out of nothing due to NBA salary matching rules and trade exceptions seem much less valuable than living, breathing players (even overpaid ones)
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] @propsizzle
Pop is intentionally playing Leonard too soon from his eye infection to lower his shooting stats and make that sub-max contract happen
How frequently are stats rescinded like that? I have seen so many generous "assists" over the years just so someone can claim a double-double or triple-double
@_justin Telfair really needs that floater that he never developed

@I still have faith in Jeremy Lamb
It takes Perk so long to jump.... he would be better off making his moves flat footed

I was attempting to channel my inner Justin. In all seriousness though, he probably just has a little tibial torsion or something benign
As an orthopedist, I look at Perry's knees when he is standing and can't help but see future job opportunities
Just wanted to drop that off before I disappear. Hopefully the Broncos are about to drop off some frozen kids in Foxborough

I have a feeling that Perk is going to become a minor problem in the locker room at some point due to decreased playing time, completely invalidating his tendency to beat the "sacrifice" drum

Ah yes, good point. I totally forgot the excuse about how the owner situation somehow put them at a competitive disadvantage on the court. Surely Ballmer must be good for 6-7 more wins then right, because owners typically have that type of impact. I wonder how many wins having Clay Bennett as our lead owner costs us
The ESPN rank thing is interesting. So if the Clippers have a supposedly better coach than us, two top 5 players and better overall team depth, what is their excuse? Then again, the rankings probably coincide with the trendy pick for the Clips to win the West this year
