ugh.
I really don't get the love for the One Direction guys. Seriously.
I hate this for him, because it really isn't fair to have to struggle so much to get a career in music, finally achieve that (especially through a medium like a competition), win, and then LOSE it again and start from scratch. But, honestly, I'll pin it as another sign that Dia Frampton should have won that season.
Yawn
They already have too many characters. They never treated any of them adequately and the show became horrible. So MORE CHARACTERS? I don't understand the writers on this show.
All things considered, she's doing very well for herself. The label let her do her album her way, and she had a hand in writing every song. That's a huge deal. And once the machine finds the right single that connects, she'll sell big time. We live in a world where once someone has one hit single, everything they release prior to it will sell, even if it's horrible. I mean, just look at Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj.
really now, she's not that bad. the girl did not bring him down.
Cheryl Cole for Idol? that sounds like a great idea. Please replace J Lo.
um, really? I thought this was really good. Olivia has my favorite voice of any contestant in the competition.
you know, the fact that he was able to go through such a terrible medical situation while still being able to compete. and then to win. I may have not been his biggest fan, but I do have a lot of respect for him.
@Rickey agreed. I mean, I enjoy Idol as much as anyone here, but go Rickey for keeping it real. M&S are real artists, word.
I actually liked Jessica's performance of The Prayer--but I have to agree that the studio track lacked what the live performance was able to capture. that being said, this song is truly meant to be sung as a duet (okay, I might be biased because I'm still reeling from how incredible Christina and Chris Mann were when they sang this on The Voice).
It ain't right, but Phillip's going to win. Remember who the male is.
I'd rather see Jessica do "Stuttering"
She's still my favorite in the competition. She's transcendent.
I'm with you--my real list is all Elise.
I follow Idol superstitions, and I've watched every season. The person whose name is alphabetically last always wins. It's always rather unfortunate... will, at least for seasons 5, 9, and 10.
Jessica should bring out "Stuttering" again. No seriously, that moment will have people remembering it was her elimination performance, and it'll remind them to VOTE and it gives the judges a chance to say WOW YOU IMPROVED IT SO MUCH blah blah. I don't really care who wins, but a female winner at this point is something to cling to.
