@YaelMoise @RaggedyCurtis Frankly, anyone who wants to see a hard working and likeable actress have a perfectly fine character "die" is a bit of a smeghead who needs a life very badly
@Master Michael Moon Please don't. Your lack of enioyment just tells true fans you've outgrown a kids show

@Big_Bird96 @supermoff Not really, I enjoyed them, what do have you to say about that? Don't speak for everyone please, not everyone will agree with you.

@Adherent And many fansw liked series seven...what's your point?
@Adherent @supermoff And we disagree with you, the show was fine, you've probably just outgrown a kids show is all
@The Genie Erm...7b was good...just because you and a vocal minority dislike it does'nt make your "opinion" gospel

@Galax Translation: i'm growing out of doctor who.
@Huknar Fans are much sloppier.
@ChrisCreveling How rude you are, I think it's time to admit you've outgrown a kids show if you think it's been "ruined"

@Chronos the Fannibal @Chris502 Just because they're wearing the same suits doesnt mean a reference to the Satan Pit...was Hide a reference to that story? No, stop looking for things that arent there, it's a frequently irritable habit of most Whoivans

It has come to light that series eight of Doctor Who did air with Capaldi playing renegade time lord the Cardinal, the show shifted focus to the King's gallant Musketeers. RETURN OF HISTORICAL STORIES

A wonderful actress. My opinion on Rani stories arent exactly rosey, but I cannot stress how delighted I was as a kid by O'Mara's peformance. I like Dimensions In Time purly because of her. She's going a long journey...a very long journey...I WILL miss the challenge. Thankyou

@TheWeepingSilence Maybe you should admit you're outgrowing Doctor Who rather than pretend it's failing

@Polyphase @DaireConstantineOReilly Wrong, those episodes were brilliant, but Doctor Who fans always say every episode is rubbish so it's best to ignore them when they're like this
@ClassicWhovian How was Vigil a waste?
I eventually do see this prevailant fan theory coming true...just not with Mr. Pink, I don't think it's time is just yet, we'll see, but I'd rather Pink be a unique character all his own and would be someone to root for as his journey evolves over the course of the series.

Oh yes, a pure historical, perhaps tying in with a "theme week" on BBC Television regarding a historical event (usually something to do with a war or royalty) and Capaldi's experiance as the Cardinal in the Musketeers gives us a brilliant taster of the kind of authority he could convey to important figures

10/10. Atmospheric, powerhouse acting, chilling second act, gripping climax and a great use of time travel and interdimensional hopping with a plot that comes unglued in a natural and exciting way. A highlight of mine and a superior story over Neil's Akaten (which I like, but gets way too high a mark)

@Pockydon I don't like Twilight, but clearly it's doing something RIGHT to gain some loyalty from fans...indeed it's not doing anything that Buffy the Vampire Slayer wasnt doing years ago, only Buffy admitedly did it better. Bottom line is Doctor Who may be going "downhill" in the eyes of overentitled crybaby fanboys who are simply growing out of a family show, but it's clearly still doing something RIGHT to warrant popularity, and nothing you say can deter it.
@Pockydon Ah here we go with the tired old "people like it but that doesnt mean it's good" card, which rarely works in furthering the credibility of an argument
@JJ2000 Doctor Who is fine, your problem is you've simply outgrown it. It's no different than it was nine years ago
@Moxx Who are these people? Those I know still love it, just admit it's not for you and your ilk anymore, be done with it, and leave it to the real fans
@JJ2000 Doctor Who is fine, you've just outgrown it.
