@outsidethenba In the context of Casey's comments, he's referring to aggressiveness, which is a trait any improperly-trained or abused dog could display. So, when he compares Allen to a pitbull, he's feeding the image that pitbulls are aggressive.

@Lexo If you don't care about dogs, that's fine, but don't attempt to belittle those who do. It's absolutely pointless of you to even bother to comment in that fashion. Next time, think twice.
So Tony Allen is loyal, loving, gentle and playful? Because that's how most pitbulls are, if trained properly. Those certainly are the traits that my pitbull possesses. Dwayne Casey's comment, compounded by the photo attached to this article only proliferates an unfair negative image of the breed. There are awful, detestable human beings (i.e., Michael Vick) out there that train these beautiful animals to be vicious so they can fight them for sport. It is tremendously sad for such dogs as they were never given an opportunity to live a normal life with a loving family. As a black man, you'd think Casey would be more sensitive to stereotypes.
