Lord loves a workin' man; don't trust whitey; see a doctor and get rid of it.
Munson raves about Herschel's thighs. I want to rave about Chubb's hips. He changes directions for a guy that size as well as I have seen at this age.
And some of that reminds me of Lattimore. If you can't square him up, then you are going to have a bad day stopping him. It looked like a lot of DL and LBs with no leverage struggling to bring him down.

The tigers from the West, correct?

I agree. we pull 94+ rated players at every position defensively but inside linebacker. It's a focal point of the defense. Prior to Ramik, guys were having a hard job going from start of the season to bowl game without losing the starting nod.

Playing contain on the edge of a 4 man front is very different than playing contain on the edge of a 5 man front. I wanted to see improvement. But I just think we were in our better scheme.
For most of those guys, we expected that high level production from game 1 (Jenkins, Swann). It just didn't happen

@Wycliffe Lovelace @meansonny Good point. There were several players who seemed to improve their game as the season wore on. Swann, Jenkins, Ramik, JHC. Quite a few guys seemed to be balling closer to the end of the season.
We didn't get into biggest let-downs (except for Soc and his sarcastic response to biggest surprises)...I'd have to say Tray Matthews. Unfortunately, it is due to injury. But we needed something more than we got from free safety.Offensively, I'd have to go Burnette. He wasn't bad so much as I was expecting All SEC this season. He had a rough offseason recovering from injuries. And that's as good an explanation as I will find. But I was looking for someone who would show up as one of the best in the SEC every week. I wish him the best. He comes off as one of the more likeable players. I hope great things for him in the NFL.

If you are Florida, do you fire Will Muschamp? It sounds like Foley is standing by his man. They have a tough schedule next year going to Bama and facing LSU at home (teams from the West). @ FSU isn't going to be fun, either. If you are going to take your lumps, you would ifgure that you would want to do it with a new coach... right?
@ColumbusRednBlkDawg They have good pressure from their front 4 and that allows them to do a lot of things defensively. They also find ways to get big leads on opponents. And teams are forcing balls into tight spots in an attempt to push the ball downfield.
@CaliVisionz Points matter most. But it's tough to accomplish that with freshmen on the backend.

I'd recommend clean underwear if something must be changed. We've been shitty at points this season.

We played for a national championship in 2012. It was the first time in Richt's tenure to have that play-in.
It stinks that we lost, but it's great to have that opportunity determined on the field.

In life, we need constant reminding that it isn't the destination but the journey that matters.
In college football where the goal is winning each week, it is frowned upon to take that approach. It is considered weak to be expected to enjoy something less than excellent. It is such a hypocrisy to real life.
This has been the most enjoyable season for me since 1980. And I don't reference 1980 because of a mythical championship. The 1980 season gave us game after game after game that went down to the wire. There wasn't a more exciting team to watch in college football.
I know that the national media has a new bride after the past 2 weeks. But there hasn't been a more exciting team to watch in 2013 than the Georgia Bulldawgs. Going back to 1980, I can't remember a season with more finishes going to the final whistle.
As Gladiator says, "Are you not entertained?"
Thanks to the kids, coaches, and families for their sacrifices and efforts for the Bulldawg Nation.

And as was said... Mason looks awesome from the shotgun. He has some serious strengths and some areas to improve upon.

Murray was 19 years old. Mason is 22. I don't know if you are making the right comparison.
He doesn't recognize pressure, blitzes, and coverages quick enough from under center. If the line protects long enough, he will be fine. Unfortunately, teams will load the box to stuff the run and confuse the pass blocking scheme at the same time. Hutson is going to have to improve, here (blocking from Gurley, tight end, and tackle is going to have to improve as well)
