@jacksayspurple So if this episode aired later in Series 8 or as a part of Series 9, would you say it were praiseworthy like the rest of us then? Similar elements were written into Robot of Sherwood from Beep Dreath however they were not parellel to one another - each with their own unique enemy and way of storytelling with the Series arc being added to the plot for Steven's finale. Maybe these episodes were too close together, however Robot of Sherwood should not be treated in such an unfair and cruel way. The episode was actually fantastic!!

@Regenerated Catterson @The Listening Cat That's only a few shades lighter than the RED wedding. We certainly don't want one of those in Doctor Who that's for sure! ;)

'Vastra’s hat unearths a sound effect last heard in the 10th Doctor’s era'; possibly the siren's that sound just before the Family of Blood spaceship blows up?

'Who done it?' I did !!!
I feel a deep sense of heartfelt gratitude at your letter Connor, you have used initiative as a leader to stand up against the Daleks of this site and I want to thank you for aiming to improve the fandom which is increasingly being abused. This is a clear display of your exemplary character and on behalf of all Whovians who respect the rules and each other, it can not go without saying a very big thank you for your efforts. Bravo!

@The Outer Space K9 No it is pathetic. For an episode that bad I find it okay to be that blunt. The Sixth Doctor had far more enjoyable episodes, such as The Two Doctors, The Mark of the Rani and Attack of the Cybermen.

The classic Doctor's look very cross in the top image! And then we've got the revived series Doctor's looking somewhat arrogant. Looks like a bit of Doctor-rivalry over who secured a fiftieth casting.

Episode 3 looks to be a fun action-packed romp with an ensemble of guest cast. Based on previous fun and romp-y episodes, we shouldn't look much forward to it. However, I agree with Riley and think this episode is "going to absolutely smash it" as well!

Certainly not a nightmare run, 6 of these episodes are brilliant - beast below, Daleks in manhattan/evolution of the Daleks, Lazarus experiment, idiots lantern and my fifth favourite episode of all time the hungry earth!

@Special Weapons Dalek @Disolus @TheUltimateUpgrade I dislike Craig and his babyish character, the joke of an enemy as the auto-pilot (the episode would have been better without an enemy compared to that), the pathetic scenes with Amy in the TARDIS, the distortion in time after the soccer match, Craig and the Doctor in the bedroom knocking each other on the head, the victims who went upstairs and were killed who had incredibly unbelievable acting, the Doctor talking to the cat, kissing Craig, the complete whack-yourself-in-the-head-stupid moment when Craig touches the burn in the roof, a poor love story which begins by Craig electrocuting himself, poor soundtrack and the portrayal of Craig as lazy and Sophie as an obsessive, weak woman who needed to be told to follow her dreams rather than finding the courage within herself to do that. About all I enjoyed in the episode was some funny humour at the office and the soccer match.
But in conclusion, this episode was an utter embarrassment to Doctor Who.

Why has the Lodger not been evicted yet!! It is the single worst episode of Doctor Who ever! I voted it 1, but that is still higher than I'd have liked to.
I've just lasted 6 hours of the Who Tunes 10 hour video. God it was boring, I just got sick of it after that long!!!!
