The Thunder's primary issue has always been the lack of ball movement and a system As a result,  they don't score enough easy buckets. 'You live by the jumper, you die by the jumper' as some would say...When KD and Russ have an off night OKC loses because instead of creating easy shots, they continue to jack up jumpers?????...Westbrook hasn't learned that after all these years that he can get to the basket at will, draw double teams and create easy buckets for his teammates...the basketball IQ of Coach Brooks, Westbrook, and KD has to get better...one on one ISO ball will not win a championship in the NBA. If Jordan and Pippen needed Phil Jackson to give them a system (the Triangle) so does Russ and KD....time for a coaching upgrade!

I've said this many times about Russ...he has great passion and is an absolute beast, but he is very unpredictable during crunch time...I do feel better with Reggie with the ball in his hands then Russ in crunch time for some reason...I think it would be better to move Russ off the ball late in the 4th quarter and allow more of an offensive flow...Russ is very competitive and wants to beat teams by himself and will shoot every chance he gets...lol...that's just his mentality...he will not pass...Golden State, New Orleans, Portland, and now against Dallas were all games we should have won if we had a PG who trusted his teammates more.

Let me make my self clear hear with my Lillard vs Westbrook comparisons...if one guy shows more poise down the strectch and make clutch plays, and the other maybe more explosive and dominant but consistently makes bone head plays and cost his teams games...who is actually better??...you can say Lillard won the Spurs and OKC games down the stretch and Russ lost us the GS, NO, and Portland game because of bad decisions down the stretch...now I'm not saying Lillard is better than Russ, but he does some things better than Russ already that has more of a positive impact on the outcome of games...better shooter and higher basketball IQ...

Brooks needs to let Russ play off the ball more when Reggie is in the game period! In some aspects of the position, Reggie does some things better than Russ. Remember the Memphis game in the playoffs, Reggie is most effective when he has the ball just like Harden was...Reggie is not an off-ball player period! I love Reggie and he is our 3rd best player and Brooks just don't know how to use him...when Reggie subs in, we need to move Russ off the ball and watch how things blossom for Reggie.

First of all let me say this...the bottom line in this game is even with the loss of KD this was more then a winnable game for OKC...As much as I love Russ Westbrook, he was terrible in the second half at getting his teammates involved...he forced too many shots early in the shot clock and held on to the ball on numerous occasions without passing to even wide open teammates....Secondly, Scott Brooks lack of a system always shows late in close games...He has to be able to reel Westbrook in and allow the Morrows, Lambs, and Jacksons of the world get into a rhythm...And yes having Perkins out there while GS was playing small was bad by Brooks!
