Kaman isn't the be all end all and Jordan may develop but I doubt it. Trading Kaman and Gprdon for Paul was something the Clips had to do but as stepx says is a horrible organization (what kind of a-holes would go after Clipper Daryl , #1 fan in every BAD year ?). Del negro is a joke, the Organization is a joke, no way they hold onto Paul or Griffin and they wont win a championship in the next two years adn it'll all be back to the drawing board AGAIN ! All this and I am actually a fan of the Clips. My main point about this aritcle is how can this writer diss Kaman ? Not only is this guy a solid performer, and I would even say a journeyman, but he is a class act on and off the court. The kind of veteran you NEED to be in your locker room. I'm just tired of the instant gratification world. Why not build something ? On that note I dont see Stern letting Kaman go to Miami, they're to good already and he'll do the same to them as he did to the Lakers/Paul trade. What's not been mentioned really anywhere is that Dunleavy is likely to own the Hornets in the next 10 days. If that happens Kaman will stay put and NO may be a contender in 3 years
3 years, 1 month ago on Trade Deadline: Where Are You Going, Chris Kaman?
Dip in production ? Average ? What games are you watching, he's the leading scorer now that he got a chance to play on that dismal team.
How the clippers went with DeAndre Jordan who has only attempted ONE shot outside the key in FOUR YEARS over a guy who can spread the floor is beyond reason. Clipps would have been a much better team and lop city would not be so predictable. Imagine Kaman shooting from 15 feet and what that would do for Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. Whoever wrote this has not done ANY HOMEWORK on Kaman or his CURRENT stats and playing. Can anyone be a sports writer these days
