The problem with ITFOTN wasn't the science in the episode, the problem was the episode itself. It was uninteresting, all over the place and gave too much screentime to the awful child actors. And overall it didn't have any tension because after the flamethrower scene, the ending was pretty much obvious.

Clara only had 1.5 series yet. She needs to say for at least 1 whole series.

I don't remember most of those episodes but i do remember out of time. I really really liked that one.

@supermoff @The Administrator is Thorin Oakenshield! Well, we know that the master can control his regeneration to a certain extent (because he wanted to be young and he became young last time), so maybe he took those words literally :D
1 month ago on Unpopular Opinion: Missy the Master
@TazminDaytime He probably won't go before Capaldi so don't hold your breath. And also, who would replace him? Because currently Mark Gatiss is most obvious choice and i'm not sure i'm comfortable with it.
1 month ago on Moffat on His Series 8 Worries
I think he doesn't mean that he wanted to people to hate his character, but to find him rigid and unlikable, and someone who is hard to approach. Of course we come to like the new doctor, that's inevitable, but he sure succeeded in creating a doctor you can't really trust in the beginning. He surely is a grumpy, distant and rather cold on the outside. And that's what we like about him. Because when he does kind things it feels like the person earned that.
1 month ago on Capaldi Didn’t Want Twelve to Be Likeable
@DrainOfMorbius I don't remember them ever saying that. They said 12's story won't be a fairy tail and nor will be series 8.
1 month ago on Christmas Special: Santa is Real, Not Evil
I started watching the classic seasons not too long ago, and damn i love Ian Chesterton. I hope they can somehow arrange him meeting with 12 in series 9 for a shot cameo. I don't mind if the doctor doesn't recognize him or anything like that.

Good. I was worried how long he plans to stay, because i really like 12, but mr. Capaldi is not exactly young anymore and the job is quite demanding. I hope he stays for at least 5 seasons tough. Heck if they keep giving him good stories like in series 8, then i wouldn't mind 6 or 7 either. I hope he gets at least a new screwdriver though. They don't have to change his TARDIS, i really like that, but having your own screwdriver is like the fingerprint for a doctor, so he needs a new one.
1 month ago on Capaldi Doesn’t Plan to Regenerate “For a While”
@DonutDevil Yeah series 12 sounds good. He will be around for a long time by then, but not an incredibly long time where you will get bored of him (if that's even possible) That's 5 seasons.
I really like the current console room. It has a sort of library feel to it, while it still feels modern. It's cold and warm at the same time, which suits 12 perfectly.Probably my favorite console room setup for the TARDIS.
1 month ago on Capaldi Hoping for New TARDIS
Well i'm thinking about this for a while, but what doctor who is lacking currently is a reoccurring race of space faring monsters that are not necessarily evil, but do bad things for their own interpretation of justice. They should be also very powerful and merciless, enough so the doctor can't scare them and has to make deals or pact with them to save people from them. For example: Let's say this race is called Laetai (just came up with it) and they can evaporate any life on a planet with a weapon and they hate Daleks, Angels and co. because they think they are destroying the balance of the world so they sometimes appear and decimate worlds they deem unsavable. But their quote is pretty low, so for example they would do this even if a bigger platoon of daleks is on the planet and still didn't conquer it. So what they do is good if we look at the bigger picture, but they kill a lot of innocent people in the process. But they are too cunning in their ideals and in their way of thinking so it's hard to convince them against it. It would be a pretty cool "enemy", because the doctor should have to use his wit to beat them, instead of force and he would even lose sometimes or get indebted to them just to save a few people. -Sorry for the long read.
1 month, 1 week ago on Moffat: Daleks Are Not A Contractual Obligation
@TheOncomingHurricane @Exalos They have a huge one there so they might have a few more. I'm not saying they are swarming but they might have a few.
You know what would be awesome? A story on Skaro where all the dalek statues turned into weeping angels. If they play with the shadows and show them less, then it would be quite scary ^^ You would never know if it's a dalek or an angel.
@JustDrawnThatWay @Exalos As the master, not as the person. I hope he (the actor) is in good health and stays that way.

This is kind of unfair though. Derek Jacobi died right after he truly became the master and Simm had more than one story to shine. Well... I think i will go with Missy though. Simm was always more of a lunatic in my eyes than a villain while Missy has that villainous aura for some reason.
@Amy Pond is Father Christmas @Exalos Sorry...

Damn this week was so depressing. DW series 8 just ended with pretty sad episode and if someone is anime/manga fan like me he/she knows which other great series concluded this week as well.
@The King of Wrong @Exalos This time it will be "i teleported" i guess :D
@mrclever has been replaced by Missy Also cyberman who totally incinerates people when they can convert the dead makes no sense. She is alive.
@IceDaleks I thought that too. Would makes sense right? He sends the doctor there to save herself along with the planet.
Watch extra. Moffat is basically saying Missy is not dead.
So basically Moffat just said Missy didn't die. Good.

I have to watch this again. Because right now just feel like it just ended so suddenly. i honestly expected another 10 minutes or so.
@Handles Exactly. Cyberman weapons doesn't incinerate people. Especially if they can convert the dead now.
That thing in the Christmas trailer looked like a xenomorph alien. What the hell was that?
@mrclever has been replaced by Missy @Exalos Exactly. Looked like she teleported before she was shot.
I have a feeling that Missy didn't die. She didn't look like someone who is about to die.
@LaraHarris You realize he didn't write any other story except Listen right? He helped out at some because of the story arc but that's all. This series was really good btw. Except ITFOTN.

Mmmmm..... I like both of these stories.... But i like 12 more than 10 (I never really liked 10 so much) and Cyberman is definitely better than Futurekind. Plus they just killed of one of the Masters in utopia right away, so i'll vote Dark Water i guess.

I usually like stories more than their preview score so i thin i will thoroughly enjoy this one.

@Galifreyan Revenge @Player2isDead Missy just kissed him out of the blue, then made him feel her up. No man can think rationally after that.
1 month, 3 weeks ago on Rate & Discuss Dark Water
@LaraHarris That might be true as well. We will see next week.
@Sirkeithgold Half of the "fans" said the same when the 12th doctor tuned out to be an old guy. Gender and Race or age doesn't matter until the actor plays the part exceptionally.
@LaraHarris That might be true for the people who aren't in the nethersphere matrix, but the people in there are most likely still connected and suffer so they eventually give in to the delete button themselves.
@MJJ Plus just think back about the people who died in DW. So what happened with them? For example the people whose face were torn down or their organs harvested by the clockwork droids. That must hurt like hell!
@seearesea7 The moment let a Fez trough and was even surprised about it, so i think it can create pathways, but can't control who accesses it.
Anyone else who didn't really care who Missy will turns out to be and just hoped she will be a time lady? It's always so cool to see the doctor compete another gallifreyan. The doctor as the only time lord in the series is good, but it's always so heartwarming to see another of his race since Eccleston's 9th doctor.
@Galifreyan Revenge And 11 said in The death of the doctor that he can regenerate a whole bunch of times more. Maybe 10 was able to do that and assumed every other time lord can. No doctor before or after him ever mentioned anything like that.
OMG i just realized something! If missy is the woman in the shop and the one who placed the add in deep breath then she must have a tardis. Also the last master was sent back to the last day of the time war, but then the moment lifted the time lock in DOTD. So if the master stole a tardis she could have just get out of there while the doctors were busy freezing the planet.
@_thomasilva @davidadmin Exactly. they are not humans. For them, regeneration is like a routine surgery. Also some time lords can regenerate by will, so maybe they just use up one more. Also some others can even control it.
@galactic_unicorn The more obvious something is, the less likely people thing that's how things will turn out. That's the trap of the speculating human mind.
About the kiss scene: People, when a male time lord regenerates into a female time lady the new incarnation isn't a guy in a woman's body. The new incarnation is as much as female as any born human female.
@Notsosmartguy Agent of M.I.S.S.Y. Moffat said it well in the Extra this week. She is funny and super creepy at the same time.
@TheNightmareChild is terrified about Dark Water @Exalos It's been 5 years since we saw him(her) so it's not like it was yesterday. I just hope Moffat won't just write Missy out again next week. She needs to remain as a looming wondering threat who can show up any time. that would spice up stuff quite well.
I just don't get what's the problem with the master being female. It's not like we didn't know that the time lords can change gender when they regenerate. Night of the doctor anyone? Just because you don't like the idea because you are so attached to the standards that certain T.L character were only played by male actors doesn't make it wrong. Let's face it: The master needed a fresh new face just like the doctor, and now he (or currently she) got one hell of a shake up, similarly to his(her) old friend.
@madscotsmandoctor Actually (from Doctor who wiki) "A female Master has been mentioned to be among various Master's to have been kidnapped by the slid". So no. there is a known female incarnation of the master from before.
@Antee991166 That is exactly what is just wrote. Looks like we think alike :D I hope Missy stays though. She is very creepy and cool at the same time. Miss Gomez is a really superb actress.
