@TomTurner66 Tons of people are against Capaldi. It's just that as a reverse of the norm, us positive people are more vocal about liking him than before when it was more negative people being vocal about Matt even though way more people liked him than disliked him. It's a matter of the positive/negative being vocal and while the most vocal with the 12th Doctor think that he is going to be amazing, there are a lot who don't like him for some odd reason. Which is stupid, really, because we've yet to see him in action.

@JonwayneStricker MARVEL has a larger audience than Doctor Who unforetunately. And MARVEL has a BIGGER BUDGET. BBC can't afford to fun TWO Doctor Who shows. It can barely afford ONE.

@TheSoundofDrums It is most likely a removal of the Doctor-lite episode that usually shows up once a season.

What if the 10th episode is the Peter Jackson directed episode. It's highly unlikely but the fact that it's the one without that information revealed and the stuff about the finale is already revealed, it'd make some sense.

@Ryan Nicholson Kate is supposed to be an authoritative figure like her father. She's leading a bloody army, of course she's going to be authoritative. To make her any less so would make no sense for the role that she plays. She leads UNIT, she needs to be like that.

@Oncoming_Badger  It would have been horribly oversaturated and 3/4s the episode would have involved nothing but setting up all of the Doctors meeting and trying to give them all sufficient screen time to warrant them being there. You also have to remember that bringing back people requires TONS of money because none of them would have done it for free. If you honestly think it's that easy, then I don't know what to say, you're wrong. It's hell trying to organise and pay for TWO Doctors, nevermind 3 or more.

@The_Eternal_Dalek  There's a reason they said 10th anniversary of the REVIVAL, and not just 10th anniversary. 10 years of Doctor Who coming back after decades IS a big thing and SHOULD be celebrated.

@Master Michael Moon   Incorrect. 1984 and Lanzarote are directly linked. On 8th May 1984, The Fifth Doctor, Turlough, and Kamelion visited Lanzarote. This is where they meet Peri Brown. That's the one and only time that 1984 and Lanzarote coincide within the Doctor Who universe.

@Lemonhead118  That a VERY huge assumption considering we haven't seen a single episode yet. The cardigan could be on every other episode or every episode but this one, just like Smith has changed clothes or taken off his jackets altogether, same with Tennant not wearing his coat, or Eccleston not wearing his leather jacket.

@Master Michael Moon @Planet of the Deaf  Well yeah, can you imagine the budget? Trying to allocate resources and funding to keep access to the Time Vortex every year. Must cost them a bunch.

@Creepy_Ghoul  They didn't get their memories back. They extracted information about The Doctor from Tasha Lem and discovered their own history with him and vengeful, took on that old mantle of hating him again.

@Wimsey  Those events were never rewritten. They always happened that way. Gallifrey was NEVER in a time lock. The Doctor only THOUGHT it was. The reason he still couldn't reach it is because it's stuck in another universe, sealed away. The events of The End of Time occur BEFORE the The Day of the Doctor in the timeline. Rassilon's plan happened before The Doctor wondered about using The Moment. Which means that The Master went back to Gallifrey BEFORE it was sealed away in another universe by the 13 Doctors and their TARDISes. So nothing was rewritten, there is no timeline changes. The Master is with the rest of the Time Lords, and since he's with them, the only way he's coming back is when they come back.

@ivegotkidneys @supermoff  Clara was converted by the nanocloud, which is a defense system in place inside the asylum planet to prevent anyone from outside purposefully or accidentally freeing the insane Daleks. The nanocloud converts all living things into Dalek. The reason the insane Daleks converted her into a full Dalek was because she was highly intelligent and they could use someone like that as part of their ranks. However, it was NOT the Paradigm Daleks that converted her, it was the Daleks on the asylum planet.

@FMOB11  I'm hoping for something 12-esque, because while I don't mind similarities or bits of other Doctors being shown in him, I want him to be his own character not Nine 2.0

@Moves Like Jagaroth  I would describe Rings to be a story of self-discovery. It showed Merry what she was capable of, it showed that The Doctor is not always capable of saving the day, and it showed that normal people like Clara have the potential to be so much more. Rings just screamed "story of self-discovery" to me, for some reason. It just showed characters at low points, and at other times, high points. It showed them being faced with challenges and stepping up to them, realising the CAN step up to them.

@Moves Like Jagaroth  I've known MANY fans to find time to simply find all the flaws in episodes simply because they dislike Steven Moffat. In fact, they specifically intentionally look for flaws just for another reason to hate on him.

@Amy the Consulting Key Ring  It could also just be a case of the TARDIS not translating for Clara(effectively the viewer's POV) because it didn't seem to like her yet.

@Friend of the Ood @WellSpokenMan  I would hardly say that the new ones are what most people would know. The majority of Doctor Who fans alive would sooner remember a classic Dalek before the 2005 ones. Only a couple of million NEW Who fans would recognise the 2005 Dalek first. But most of the fans would sooner prefer a Classic Dalek, and would sooner recognise one because the majority of fans are fans that came over from the classic era.

@Iris Wildthyme  The Daleks haven't actually had that many stories since the show returned in 2005. Counting two parters as one story since they're two halves of a whole, the Daleks have only featured prominently in TEN STORIES since the show came back. Hardly overused. They were completely absent for all of Series 6 minus a cameo in The Wedding of River Song, and they had one one-part story in Series 7. Then their major appearances in Day of the Doctor and Time of the Doctor. I wouldn't call them overused in the modern era. Though I do think they should have a reduced role to only one story per year.

@MattLittledyke  According to the Maitland's home address, they're located in Chiswick. Donna could have easily given the number to her without realising its significance. Easy to explain, easy to pass off, no need for further explanation. Donna did it.

So I saw "Alfie" up there and I decided to check out the actor, and the actor could totally pass for a grown version of Craig's son Alfie. I know it most likely won't be that, but that'd be pretty cool.

@cyberbrayde  The Doctor has worked alongside a companion's dad/father figure before. Pete Tyler on at least 3 different occasions, Martha's dad during The Last of the Time Lords, and Donna's grandfather(who replaced Donna's dad because his actor died).
