@Shalroth @RebelTimeLord hahaha yeah he only said it like now and then, but this series its every ep without fail! :P
has anyone else noticed how the line "a thing" said by either the Doctor or Clara has been in every ep this series, surely its not significant though? is it? can a thing be significant??
love the Hinchcliffe bit as well, that was a golden age when he was producer!

i usually can't wait for any episode of Doctor Who but as everyone is saying, bring on ep 7 & 8, can't wait!! :D
@Rani Nose @RebelTimeLord i just think less is more, so you're more like "yes they're back!!" not "oh them again"

@ Doctor that never was @RebelTimeLord Donna returned twice? she left in journey's end and then came back in end of time didn't she? when was the other time? and yeah fair play about Harriet
@NewWho2012 @RebelTimeLord yeah i forget Harriet in Stolen Earth and i don't hate them just less is more in my opinion so when they return you're like "yes! they're returning" not "oh them again"
I mean lets look at other returning characters of NuWho, The Face of Boe returned twice, Harriet Jones returned once, Rose returned once, Captain Jack returned twice, Mickey and Jackie returned once, Novice Haime (cat nun not sure how to spell it) returned once, Sarah Jane Smith returned once, Martha returned twice, Donna returned once (but was still technically in it), same with Wilf and Donna's mum, Ood Sigma has returned twice (technically). River has returned 7 times since her first appearance (not counting minisodes), and the Paternoster gang have returned 4 times, more than any other characters since the show came back, they're good characters but please use them less! :)
not the Paternoster gang again, are they the new River now?? return at least twice a series, am i the only one getting slightly tired of them? people never used to return as much as this in the past, if we are having returns how about other characters like Captain Jack or someone, or just new people, bringing back the same people very time is just a bit dull, they're a good group just a tad over used.
they got in experts to tell us that? couldn't we have just had a little survey "can you or can you not understand him" act on that job done. Don't need all the effort of an article :P but personally i've had no problems, some Galswegian accents are MUCH MUCH worse, believe me :P

@The Finn just little cameo would be nice, The Doctor seeing him like the ponds in 'Closing Time' or you hear a voice saying "you missed a spot" and The Doctor looks up and there's Ian and obviously The Doctor instantly knows who he is, it must happen!

@12th's Sonic (I'm Listening!) really? wow i never knew! cool :)
@mrclever @RebelTimeLord yeah like Ace picking up Susan's 'French Revolution' (it is the French Revolution isn't it?) book in Rememberance which Susan had just put down :)
@YaelMoise @RebelTimeLord we can't not have a cameo because of that one line! but i bet that's the type of excuse that would be used by writers as to why he could never return! just little cameo would be nice, The Doctor seeing him like the ponds in 'Closing Time' or you hear a voice saying "you missed a spot" and The Doctor looks up and there's Ian and obviously The Doctor instantly knows who he is, it must happen!
@The Finn @RebelTimeLord you know i was just thinking that! i really do hope that he turns up, i really do, i also hope he says something like "travelling with one of us again ey" speaking about Clara :) i think it was missed opportunity to not have him in it last year even just to tell Clara "her Doctor was on the phone" :P
@JLS1138 @RebelTimeLord ugh! yeah! it would be SO good! but....must....not....get....to.....excited, will only lead to disappointment :P
OH OH OH! of course Ian Chesterton is Governor or Headmaster or something isn't he, so maybe a cameo with The Doctor! here's hoping! :D
sounds interesting and good, it'll be good to see The Doctor back at Coal Hill since Remembrance :) he'll have to reference it surely! :P surprised he hasn't referenced the fact he's old and with a Coal Hill school teacher now :P
That is a good point that the old man (Quayle?) gets killed but no Missy, so so far the Half-faced Man and Gretchen (from Into the Dalek) have made it to heaven. It does seem, so far, like the the pattern of sacrifices is there, sacrificing for the Doctor. Which answers was he pushed or not from Deep Breath.

As much as i want all this to be true, stop the fairytales, bring death back etc... i can't help but think this is just hyperbole promoting the new series. But i do like the 'it has an affect on the people left behind' part, i know that sort of stuff was never mentioned in the classics, but with Russel you really got that family grounded in reality thing, like the companion could be you and you could walk around the corner and see the TARDIS standing there, i mean Amy got her parents back and you never saw them again, same for Rory's Dad, even Rory just got a 'Rory is okay' in the letter to The Doctor, but anyway I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW SERIES, BRING CAPALDI ON!!

does that grave really say 'Thomas Thomas'? is that a prop grave and a nod to Tom Tom from 'A Crimson Horror'? or is that a real grave?
9 months, 3 weeks ago on Series 8 Finale Filming: Beyond the Grave
Of course we can't forget 'A Good Man Goes To War' when it is said that the Time Lords evolved from being exposed to the Time Vortex for (thousands?) of years, River should be human from two human parents but is exposed and is a Time Lord, so maybe that's implying that the Time Lords are evolved Humans
9 months, 3 weeks ago on Moffat: Who says the Doctor is NOT human?
i'm also pretty sure i remember Moffat saying that line in the TV Movie about him being half human was rubbish anyway?
Surely its 'The War Games' isn't it? I know Hartnell was always referred to as human during his time on a few occasions and most of Patrick's doesn't exist, but 'The War Games' is when we first see his people so if not before, then it was then. First time in the re-boot was in 'Rose' Rose: 'You're an alien?" The Doctor: "yeah, is that alright?"
anyway i for one definitely want The Doctor to stay an alien and member of the Time Lord race :) also maybe 'War Games' isn't right for this question, because he does say when it is directly addressed, like "Are you human?" "No"
wasn't Robin Hood meant to be fictional? I mean this is like the Doctor meeting Sherlock Holmes or James Bond or something, makes no sense, I know this is Doctor Who and not real but there is still such a thing as fictional and non fictional in the Doctor Who Universe
1 year ago on Series 8 Filming: A Castle and a Villain
plus the robots in the medieval time is very 'Time Warrior' when Lynx makes a robot for the Lord and a bit 'Kings Demons' on the whole with the setting
@Cambrell @RebelTimeLord yeah! where is Jenny? :P
1 year, 1 month ago on Series 8: Meet Danny Pink
@The_Eternal_Dalek @RebelTimeLord yeah but seriously come on everyone will call him # 1 of a new cycle though won't they, he is the first Doctor of this new cycle (i know Matt had it for a while while he was still Matt but that was like 10 minutes of a Doctor not a full Doctor) i mean people still call Matt the 11th (and he is if you don't count meta-crisis and war Doctor as Doctor's) even though now he's technically 13/1 (for ten minutes) if you do count them. I was only pointing out the nod to the past in a nice easy understandable way where everyone knows what you mean, i wasn't trying to spark a big debate of regeneration cycles and Doctor numbers, that wasn't really the point :P
@sontaran17 @RebelTimeLord oh i'm not saying it will be, i'm just saying the mystery element to a character (possible extra companion) is classic Moffat :P
an older Doctor with two Coal Hill School teachers.....sounds familiar? even a new Doctor in a new cycle so sort of Doctor #1, not complaining :P just pointing it out ;)
‘For the fourth time in Doctor Who history, Coal Hill School is coming to the aid of the TARDIS. In 1963 teachers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright accompanied the First Doctor. These days it’s the turn of Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald. And very soon now, Sam Anderson as Danny Pink will be entering the world of the Doctor. But how and why? Answers are coming later this year in Peter Capaldi’s first series of Doctor Who!’ - Steven Moffat, so he's a teacher then and a teacher with the mystery of why is he there?? classic Moffat, always a companion with a mystery now Clara is solved :P
