I like the idea of a more rough and tough Doctor but I just don't likethe Baker era because of the storylines and Peri is either dead or gallavanting off somewhere.

Indira Varma was also fantastic in two Bones episodes playing the British counterpart of Booth. Scott can play a Moriarty like villain in a psychological-thriller episode. It would be great to have more edgy and creepy moments in DW. The only examples I can think of are The Empty Child, The girl in the fireplace, 42, and The god Complex.
