Facebook is making a greater emphasis on rich media such as photos and videos. There are also new opportunities for advertising within the new sub-feeds such as music or games. One down side is if people choose the close friends they will opt out of any content your brand page shares. It will be interesting to see how marketers will get creative with these new changes.
Too bad Ego got bumped up to $2.99. I would have tried it out if it was free. I love to use WunderList, Evernote, Mint.com, LocalMind and more.
Google is great at figuring out "How" to do something but Facebook knows the "Why" behind what they do.

Looks awesome! I already did it for a few different pages of mine. Interested to see how "Like" gates and landing pages will be affected with apps such as static html and other popular apps.
