A cover up? Wth are you even talking about? No. I'm not for any kind of cover up. That had absolutely nothing to do with anything I said. (Troll much?) I'm not for the demeaning of a deceased individual who can't defend themselves! That's not ok! In any way, shape or form! Who does that and is able to have a clear conscious? Unless of course you have some personal vendetta against the individual? Either way, I'm so relieved I have the parents I do that lead by great example.

You're completely missing the point. A man is dead. His family is mourning. There is absolutely no need whatsoever to accuse or imply that this man had some kind of motive to put not only his life, but the lives of innocent people in danger. Especially when you have no solid facts to base that opinion off of. Difference is, the negative opinions are detrimental to the family and friends and makes the whole horrible and tragic situation, that much worse. You don't have to be educated to be respectful either.
I don't have a clue who this man is. I'm an outsider looking in who just so happens to be educated and working in the medical field. The man was almost 80. A medical emergency is more likely than not. Don't get me wrong, I listened to the 911 call and I could feel the terror in this young mans voice. Which is exactly why I said thoughts and prayers to all involved.
It could have been one of many different medical emergencies. He could have had a seizure, stroke, heart attack or aneurysm. And those are just to name a few. Until you are educated enough to know and understand what any of those medical emergencies are capable of doing to the human body, don't make ignorant and hateful suggestions of what you think you know. Thoughts and prayers go to all involved!
@hoosierraised1891 I didn't judge anyone. I didn't call them names. I simply stated facts. If I were you though, I would quit making threats. It's not smart. At all. Especially when it's a male threatening a female.

@hoosierraised1891 Grow up. You do realize it's also against the law to attempt to coordinate a physical altercation via the internet or in any other way, right? And you are so beyond naïve if you think for one second that the people buying the narcotics from your friends, (other than the police obviously) are purchasing them for any other reason other than to abuse them. It's not illegal for "dealers," aka "doctors" to prescribe medications to patients. They spend an extensive amount of time in school to acquire that licensing. It's illegal for people who obtain the medications from their physician to sell them. Period. There are no limitations or instances where that would be excused by a judge. Ever. Your "friends" could have contributed to someone's death by enabling their drug abuse. Luckily for them, that didn't happen. Other wise they could be facing murder charges as well.
@hoosierraised1891 Since you've started the name calling, you just made your whole argument invalid by saying "Prescription medication doesn't hurt people you moron." You're a fool. Prescription drugs DO hurt people, genius! People die every single day from them! EDUCATE yourself before making ignorant comments that are completely ridiculous.
Them being "good people" is completely besides the point and in no way justifies their choices. Maybe they really are good people at heart. I don't know because I don't know them. But regardless, they still broke the law. Period. The economy is garbage and everyone has hit hard times. They still made a choice and now have to face the consequences.
I used to work with her years ago. I never in a million years would have expected this. She was so nice and funny! I never even seen her without a smile on her face, that I can recall. People sure do change.

@sharkie1971 There is a HUGE difference in a bunch of CHILDREN dressed, usually as their favorite Disney or Nickelodeon character, walking with their parents door to door saying "trick or treat" and asking for candy versus a bunch of ADULTS dressed as zombie's terrorizing children. I don't care if it says it's for "all ages." This could inflict night terrors, nightmares, anxiety etc. on children. I can assure you that you are not going to be able to "reason" with a two year old that they shouldn't be afraid of someone that looks like a rotting corpse. If people are ok with exposing their children to things like this, more power to them; but don't force it on all the rest of us parents that are actually cautious as to what they allow their children to be exposed to depending on the issue and the age that it's appropriate for. Something more family oriented and appropriate for ALL ages could have been more resourceful to raise money and awareness for the United Way of Greater Cincinnati – Dearborn and Ohio Counties.

@Shoebies_queen I was in tears and panic mode when I read this! From one mother to another, I am so sorry your baby boy and you had to endure this! I could not even begin to imagine. I am physically sick to my stomach just reading about it. It absolutely broke my heart for you and your baby. I am so relieved to hear that he has recovered and is doing so well now!

This would be amazing! There are so many elderly residents of Lawrenceburg that would walk to that Dollar General or ride their scooters b/c that was their only means of transportation and since it has closed, it has become next to impossible. A lot of citizens relied on that store for their everyday needs! I hope it goes through!

@VoiceOfReason2by2 You're an idiot. I should not have to keep my children from playing outside out of fear! That's absurd! If the city wants to have an event like this then it needs to be done in an enclosed facility. This could traumatize a child who is too young to understand that it is fake and for fun. And good luck identifying perps dressed as zombies when cars are broken into and things are stolen or someone thinks it would be a good idea to commit a crime because everyone participating is going to be dressed the same!

@mbare I've worked in mental health for 4 years now and he may struggle with a mental disorder but if that was in fact the case, I'm almost positive they would have determined what disorder and the degree of it by now. This seems to be the type of person who doesn't need to be near any other human being as he poses a threat to everyone. I, for one, am perfectly fine with him being locked up for the duration of his life.

I WORK for a living to SUPPORT my children, have been at the same employer for 4 yrs, graduated college and they refused to rent to me bc of a bankruptcy from my previous marriage. But have no problem what so ever renting to people who flat out refuse to work and strictly live off of the government. Not everyone who resides there does that apply to, but it does to a lot. Makes perfect sense! I mean why would you help someone who is doing everything they can to help themselves? That's just crazy!

Why on earth would they seriously think this is acceptable?! If this gets approved, I will immediately withdraw my kids and either home school them or move out of state.

Until you ACTUALLY know the details, you should think before you speak. I happen to know for a fact that two of the above listed are indeed NOT in jail because they were NEVER even arrested. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that blasting there names all over the internet and on the news with false information is grounds for a pretty decent lawsuit.
