Spot on, sir.
Thanks for letting me know -- I remembered the rumored number, not the actual number of that first contract.
It's not that I don't respect Gerald Wallace; I've been following him since high school and I love his game. The problem is that you don't pay an oft-injured 11-year vet in his early 30s $40 million for four years. He's great at $5 million, but he prevents the team from getting better at $10 million a year.
This is good stuff, Chris.
@Mopo I think you can commit to Kris long-term either way. If it gets crowded, plenty of contenders would love to trade for him and acquire him (and plenty of other teams, too). He has an elite skill and has size, and as mentioned, has so much room for growth, that he will likely get better with minutes.
@calling all toasters That's hilarious, and I partially agree, lol!
Good stuff, guys.
*nodding head*
This is great, D.
Good look, Dev.
@wltcrg I actually feel Deron is an adequate leader, but he's leading paupers. He doesn't wanna do that for any longer than he has to.
@wltcrg Much less is that Deron isn't a good leader, but that he himself doesn't have assets to do anything, and he'll likely leave because of the lack of the proper infrastructure in the organization, concerning personnel.
I enjoyed this. I said something somewhat similar about Carmelo, too: http://knickerblogger.net/the-importance-of-being-melo/
This is good stuff, man.
@Sammyfein That's pretty sweet!
