You're damn right.
I'd like to see Clara becoming possessed by an alien of some sort. Something that is using Clara's knowledge of the Doctor and time travel to destroy the universe (or something along those lines) and then, the Doctor realises that the only way to save the universe is to kill evil, possessed Clara. Let's say to do this he plants a bomb (these are all just examples, anything could happen along those lines), and as evil Clara sees the bomb, she turns to the Doctor, smiles with her big inflatable eyes, and says "run you clever boy and remember", and jumps in front of the bomb, sacrificing herself. Obviously there is a lot of wrong in what I hope will happen but to sum up my hopes: Evil Clara, the doctor tries to kill her, good Clara comes back for a second and sacrifices herself to save the doctor and the universe.

While I wasn't particularly overwhelmed by any of these monsters, I had to go with the cybermen simply because they had the better story, even if they weren't the highlight of their episodes.

any love for Maisie? Or to put it another way... any love for Maisie's speech on love?

I hate to say it because I absolutely adore Series 8... but this poll made me realise that the series didn't have the strongest list of guest characters. There isn't a single name there that sticks out to me. I ended voting for Tom Riley simply because I thought the Robin Hood episode is greatly underrated.

couldn't be happier with Clara staying! She's slowly but surely grown into my favourite companion of all time, and I think her working with Capaldi has a lot to do with that!

Gotta go with Michelle Gomez. Perhaps Derek Jacobi would top it for me if he had more to do. John Simm really did nothing for me though.

I disagree that the love twist was done better here as opposed to Hide. I'm one of the few who really didn't mind the twist in Hide, as in my opinion it was indeed hinted at. In fact I'd say it's hinted at a lot more than the twist in Time Heist.

I never really got the "control freak" impression from Clara in 7b, however it does appear in the Day and Time of the Doctor, even to the point where Clara explicitly states it. Which makes me wonder whether "control-freak Clara" was a late idea from the Moff. This isn't a complaint... simply an observation,

maybe every episode (or every other episode) he'll get a threatening phone call from an anonymous person and he must figure out who it is. Dumb idea but idk.
9 months, 3 weeks ago on Series 8: New Teaser Trailer “I see into your soul, Doctor”
While I don't agree that is it the greatest scene PERSONALLY... I can understand and respect that the scene meant a lot to a lot of people. I remember when it first aired and it was all anyone was talking about back in school, and that is something I have never experienced since where Doctor Who is concerned.

the way he says "Clara, be my pal." is so chilling and patronizing. I really do love this trailer. Would it have hurt the BBC so much to release this one first instead of that silly 5 second promo we got a couple of months back?

I just adore Clara and I truly hope that she stays with us for at least 2 more series.

I've kind of lost respect in Christoper Eccleston not as an actor but as a person who appreciates something as huge as Who. DW introduced him to a whole new audience and now he's throwing it all back in our faces.

Thank for SO much for this article, Clara deserves a lot more positive attention than she gets.

nice results, although I do not get the big fuss over the Planet of the Ood. In my opinion it is extremely dull and probably my least favourite of Series 4. Having said that Catherine Tate does give a killer performance when she's listening to the Ood sing.

doesn't Jenna look beautiful in that outfit?

While I'm not really surprised to see any of these episodes on the list, I honestly can't understand the negative attitude towards the Curse of the Black Spot. Yes, it has it's flaws. Yes, it's a filler episode and doesn't really serve as an importance in the grand scheme of things. But in my opinion it's still a thoroughly enjoyable and fun episode that was unfortunate enough to be placed between Day of the Moon and the Doctor's Wife, therefore making it somewhat forgettable to the general public.
1 year ago on Series 1-7 Face-Off Results: Nightmare Run (Episodes 1-8)
Just a theory here: but judging by Clara outfit would it be a stretch to assume we *might* be seeing a different echo of her? I'm probably just wishful thinking, because I SO hope we get a double-clara episode before the end of her run.

I'm pleased series 7 is starting to get the recognition it deserves, in my opinion it's been rather unfairly panned by people claiming to be fans.

I'm surprised and very pleased at how high the Snowmen was placed, I've read a lot of people saying how much they dislike the episode but I personally loved every second of it!

9/10 for me. For what ever reason until I sat down and rewatched the episodes I was under the impression that this was a terrible series. But after looking back I realised it's been one of the strongest runs since the revival that's been incredibly panned by supposedly "fans" for whatever reason. It would have been 10/10 if it wasn't for the Power of Three, I just thought that was the only episode below average.

@Oodkind I really hope you're trolling. They barely touched upon the Clara mystery until the final and the 'Silence Will Fall' was not heard every episode.

4/10, one of the only episodes from Series 7 that I have a problem with. The only redeeming thing about this episode for me if the little heart to heart Amy and the Doctor have.

8/10, like many Doctor Who episodes as of late I didn't like it on the first viewing, but it has grown on me considerably. I'm particularly a fan of the Doctor/Amy confrontation and how Rory was going to let the Doctor kill to save them.
