I would have mixed feeling if they brought her back...on one hand, I would be glad for more Idris adventures, but at the same time, I feel like the ending of the Doctor's Wife was good. It had closure. Bringing her back would almost feel cheap, I think. The only thing I would enjoy, I think, is if she was somehow able to become a permanent companion, that is, be able to retain Idris' body without it wearing thin too quickly. And then instead of the companion leaving or dying (since she IS the TARDIS and we sort of need her) she would just somehow be stuck back in her box form permanently.

Just throwing ideas out. ;)

"The creatures of the Silence were Confessional Priests, who were genetically modified to make the confessor forget anything they told them – Nifty trick I know! Imagine if one went rogue! What evil they could…. oh"

I agree that TotD was a great episode, but this was the one part that I thought felt a little forced...firstly, I'm not quite sure why you would want to forget what you confessed...the entire point of confession, in the Catholic church at least (who knows about those alien religions though :)) is to feel forgiven of your sins, so what's the point of going to confession if you don't even remember you've gone? Secondly, (and this was my main issue with that explanation) why would your genetically engineered priests need to be able to shoot lightning out of their fingers?

Honestly, I think it's a testament to how good Doctor Who is that our lowest episode scored "average." I know that I personally didn't rate any episode below a 5 the entire time, so...

I've noticed (and a bunch of other commenters as well) that a lot of the "businessmen bad people" have very similar outfits/personalities...hopefully this'll be something new?

@Mr_Predictable If that happened (which I think would be totally amazing, it's a great idea), I don't think that I'd like it as much if he was the MC Doctor...he had a nice ending, you know? Living with Rose, all that jazz. If it was an alternate Time Lord, though, that'd be pretty cool....maybe the Rani, or a new Time Lord?

I'm honestly just waiting for Homestuck to pop up...of course, it's fairly new and doesn't exactly have the long standing history of, say, Back to the Future, but I think it could be compared to DW pretty well. After all, it's got aliens, time travel, alternate universes, confusing paradoxes that I can't quite wrap my head around...
