A Beautifully written article for a beautiful person.

The moment he asked for a gun and went to town on that wall really told the Daleks who was the boss.
THE WAR DOCTOR was a WARRIOR and his graffiti was there for all to see.
Sitting in a wing back chesterfield and calmly sipping some tea while everyone else freaked out was epic.
and OMG at the end when he said
"FOR GOD'S SAKE", I never knew that War Doctor was religious but I applauded.
I wish he could get his own series, he's the best Doctor Who since David Tennant.

He'll be back for the 10 anniversary of the reboot. so will Chris eccilston and Matt Smyth.
I guarantee it.

3 months, 2 weeks ago on Why I Hate the Tenth Doctor’s Regeneration
Jason McDonald, your article hits the nail on the head.
The 10-11 regeneration was self indulgent and over emotional where as 11-12 was an "up yours" to the daleks who were seeking to destroy him and it ultimately became a celebration.
The "I don't want to go" final line was another example of over-indulgence although after the events of the 50th anniversary, 10 knew exactly what Trenazlore was and also knew that 11 would be The Doctors final regeneration, that said, the "I'm dead and a new man saunters away" struck me as a slap in the face to the new Doctor and the new production team..,.....it's little wonder that 11 literally spat on the RTD Tardis console shortly after regenerating.
Thank You Mr McDonald, well written and very well said.
We had 2 nu-who Doctors in the 50th anniversary, does that satisfy them enough for the 10th?

After Matt Smith's first season and Christmas Special, I had almost forgotten about the David Tennant era.
now after Capaldi's season and special I still miss Matt.
Goes to show what a great Doctor Matt was.

She was a great foil to the bluster of the 6th Doctor, maturity with a quick wit and very difficult to impress by far she was the best companion any doctor has had. Good bye Evelyn and thank you Maggie Stables

@TheAmazingSkyFaller™ @The8thDoctor So the fashion of a teacher at Coal Hill was based on a Time Lord?

I wanted to see more of the teacher who looks like the 11th Doctor?
Why was he look and dress similar to him?, that is too much of a coincidence especially for Coal Hill school.
@Ollie Walton Harrod from lad who cannot spell safeties and grammar.
I don't pick issues with peoples spelling as I make plenty of mistakes myself, but I do love pricking the bubble of pomposity of those who lecture others how to compose a sentence and then misspell words.

You have to be kidding about that new theme tune, it sounds like a Jon Nathan Turner is back from the dead and hammering a bell.
The Daleks are overused, rip up the deal with the Terry Nation estate and give them a rest for 4 or more years.

@drjakeyoung just get rid of the idiot trolls and this forum would be perfect.
They can hardly have a parade of former Doctors during Capaldis first Season, it would be disrespectful to the actor,.
8 months, 2 weeks ago on No 10th Anniversary Special For New Who?
When Gallifrey eventually returns then the where abouts of the Master will have to be dealt with by either a fully fleshed out character who is now Lord President or a throw away line about the renegade who was executed by Rassilon. I prefer the latter.
8 months, 2 weeks ago on Moffat on Why the Master Won’t Be Back
@AztecsDaleksAndCavemen He has been gone for nearly 5 years now and I, for one, have not missed the character.
@Ollie Walton Harrod "I actually can't be bothered to read the article" but you feel the need to comment. Self obsession is a poison.
8 months, 4 weeks ago on Why I Love the 11th Doctor’s Regeneration
The abrupt regeneration was a refreshing change to the long and drawn out Russell T Davies ego trip for the 10th Doctor.
Steven Moffat put 1000 years of a battle for Trenzalore and a regeneration into 60 minutes that were vastly superior to the 2 hours of self indulgence aka "The End of Time".
Flying Zombie Cannibal Master....no thanks.

8 months, 4 weeks ago on Will There Be a 10th Anniversary Special for the Revival?
@Whovian1500 Steven Moffat stated that The Three Doctors was not a anniversary "special" in an interview, Doctor Who magazine If i recall correctly and Mark Gattiss stated the same in the behind the scenes of "An Adventure in Time and Space".
A simple amendment will rectify the issue "some regard the Three Doctors as an anniversary special"
It is not my intention to be "nasty" but I do sometimes point out errors and the fact does remain that Moffat and Gattiss know more about Doctor Who lore than you or I and if that fact offends you then you then you need to grow a thicker skin.
9 months ago on Will There Be a 10th Anniversary Special for the Revival?
The author missed the point that the "SONIC" now does wood. It took several generations and 400 years but it was shown in Time of the Doctor when the wooden cyberman was defeated by the sonic.

9 months ago on Cybermen Invade London (Again!)
@Whovian1500 It is not regarded as a tenth anniversary "special by Stephen Moffat or Mark Gattiss and they know a lot more about Doctor Who lore than you.
Well said John unfortunately there are many fans who are not happy unless they are bitching.

The Three Doctors was NOT a tenth anniversary special.
It was broadcast 30 December 1972 to 20 January 1973.
@ZoobadooZak yes !, you are the only one.

I fell out of love with the show when Tom Baker left. I loved the 8th Doctor but, alas, he was a one off.
RTD and Moffat have made great casting decisions and I am very confident for the future of Doctor Who.
9 months, 2 weeks ago on Why We love Doctor Who
@Piramids of Mars one of my first memories was my brother and father making me watch Jon Pertwee change into Tom Baker, it blew my 3 year old mind.
The colour of the Tardis is similar to the 9th and 10th doctors, also the is no Saint John's ambulance bagde from the 11th doctor era. I wonder what that could mean!

@Huknar @Strontium It's not really, not when you get to my age lol
10 months, 1 week ago on Is it time for Davros to return?
@Strontium I agree, his miraculous escapes without reference as to how exactly are tedious, but the new Doctor Who is written for an audience that are fresh to the stories and usually do not know all the previous "bug-outs" that Davros has done.
Then again, the same fans are happy to see the daleks return every year (as per the contract negotiations with the estate of Terry Nation)
But this Dalek overload is almost like living through the Patrick Troughton years again.
