I fail to see the need to make this a limited edition box set....

I love that Kate and Osgood are back, and I'm intrigued by this...gatekeeper. Only thing I'm not too keen on is seeing the Cybermen back. The finale is already heavily rumored to be a Master story - if this is true, we don't need the cybermen in it too. We all know what Moffat's like, trying to cram a million and one things into one episode - it doesn't work well.

You'll know from my previous comments on here that I am not a fan of Steven Moffat's since he became showrunner at all. I do however, feel that this is the best he has produced in a long time. Though even this is not without flaws. Whilst it was great to have ten back, it didn't really feel like ten. Watching the special again, he's just the butt of almost every joke, and the QE1 subplot was un-necessary, and took away from the story. The Zygons look beautiful, but are underused and sort of dissapear half way through, I can't help thinking that their return be best left until Series 8. Also, It was a real disappointment to me that the Moment took the form of Rose, when there are so many others she/he/it could have chosen. Susan, perhaps? I just feel like BP was only cast to bring back the Doctor/Rose duo, which is even more disappointing considering they didn't even interact (though, that in itself is a good thing). I can't really find any faults in the final 15 minutes. The 12 TARDISes around Galifrey gave me chills, and "No, sir, ALL THIRTEEN!" It was bliss to see Tom Baker back, and I loved the last shot of all 12 Doctors, even if it wasn't executed too well...7/10, I think. It's just a shame the following episode kinda ruins it...

It's a brilliant concept, one which I don't feel was wasted as we certainly did see a lot more of the TARDIS (I would have liked to have seen more of the swimming pool though). The time zombies are also easily the most effective villain of the series in my opinion, and the final confrontation between 11/Clara was great. Where this episode fails is - like most people have pointed out - the quality of the supporting cast. The brother's were awful. Ashley Walters in general is one of the worst actors I have ever seen. Also, the reset button ending is the biggest cop out - and makes Clara learning the Doctor's name especially pointless. I have to say I was also dissapointed when we learned that there wasn't really a threat of the Doctor blowing up the Tardis 6/10

@supermoff @lastjellybaby "If they gave it 10/10 its because they enjoyed it, not because they're doing it for the sake of doing it!" You would be surprised...

@Nightmarish I personally fail to see how anyone could enjoy those episodes, but each to their own.
@Notsosmartguy Admittedly, The Snowmen is definitely one of the better episodes...but I really do fail to see how so many people could give full marks to episodes like "The Curse of the Black Spot" and "The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe", as I have seen on this site. It's a joke really. I was told by someone last night that my standards are too high. That, for me, just sums up the fans attitude towards the show "ITS DOCTOR WHO SO AMAZING 10/10 OMG!"
I really don't see the point in doing these polls, because there are far too many people here who seem to think that just because they are a fan, they have to rate every single episode 10/10, like a hive-mind!
I know people are entitled to their opinions and all that, but it baffles me that every time I come here, the vast majority of commenters vote 10/10 in every poll? Just because you're a fan of something, doesn't mean you have to completely adore every episode. I consider myself a fan, yet I haven't fully enjoyed a single episode since Midnight in Series 4...

A Pond-centric episode featuring River Song and the Weeping Angels. I dislike the Ponds (well, Amy at least), despise River and think the weeping angels are vastly over-used and over-rated. 5/10 for me
@Venawesomeo @Chronos the Wesen The trouble with Neonvisual is his ego is far too big for his head. He's actually caused an argument in the comments here before...
