@RobertWbaClark @thelonelycenturion @bl0ndie98 Throwing the "tracker thing" into Solomon's ship? Not allowing him back on board the other ship? He didn't put a gun to his head and pull the trigger. He didn't even fire the bad CGI missiles. But the Doctor sure as hell made sure they'd kill Solomon.

@NotSusanForeman Well, the line has been heavily contested, but in the context of the TV Movie it's not a throwaway line. In fact it's vitally important to the plot of that story and is why the Master cannot open the Doctor's eye of harmony. You should see how they retconned it in the Eighth Doctor Books. That story arc is amazing.

@ Notsosmartguy: Time Thievious Racoonus @supermoff is playing Grand Theft Karabraxos... @Planet of the Deaf Well who says UNIT wasn't ever posted in Afghanistan. It doesn't have to be a lie, just not the whole truth
@bl0ndie98 But he already did that... quite a few times actually. Most recently I'd give Solomon from Dinosaurs on a Spaceship as an example.

@wizardgang if she said "we" that would confirm her returning which is what she said she didn't want to do (not that she doesn't want to return, she just wants it to be a surprise if she leaves)
1 week, 6 days ago on A Surprise Ending for Clara?
@yiffniff That's because it originally had no commercials in the UK and was edited/directed with intent of being seen without them.

@A Friend of the Ood @ Notsosmartguy Four distinct types of cyborg actually... I'd say the Half-faced man definitely counts. The Dalek is a blending of machine and squid mutant of hatred. The Sheriff offhandedly remarks that he is cyborg (and his hands surviving the molten liquid and the cut segment prove it). And then there's the classic cyborgs - the cybermen. that's four groups of cyborgs.... that we know of so far.

@Whogasms It was used to blow up the homing devices on the arrows
@TheRiseOfTheTwelfth that was about as subtle as a brick through a window
@ Notsosmartguy the dalek of Jersey It's almost always a timed exclusive. Just like how Microsoft claimed that the next Tomb Raider game was an exclusive. Well, they had to come forward and say that it's again, a timed exclusive.

@Amy says Peter Davison is the Thirteenth Doctor! You know you can just use mods to make a ton of Doctor Who stuff be in PC Minecraft. You've also been able to just upload (google for) your own skins for your character including Doctor Who themed ones.
@TheIdleIdol I think it's worth noting that based on the final cut of the episode there's no place to put that scene.

@Romanadvoratrelundar I don't think it's the Rani. Big Finish is introducing their new Rani and the BBC goes to great lengths to ensure that the two formats aren't doing similar stories at the same time.
@JordanBiffle It's a garden in Wales that's not too far out of Cardiff that they use for location shoots quite often. I don't think it's related at all to the Two-Streams facility.
I think Star Trek IV or First Contact would have been better choices of Trek films for this type of analysis.

@11th Doctors Purple Coat As an American, how can anyone stand to watch American Top Gear? It's an abomination.

@Angie Whodini The EDA books explain it quite nicely.

I don't think any of these monster's need a return. Let new ideas and new monsters cross our protagonist's path
5 months ago on 5 New Who Monsters in Need of a Return
@Ninjauthor I think that the idea's doable, but it's a terrible one. The Doctor is supposed to be a mysterious and powerful figure. If we remove the mysteries surrounding him, we remove a large chunk of his character and we are left with just a man.
5 months ago on How could a New Doctor Who Movie Work?
@Oncoming_Badger I just can't get into Orphan Black. I found the main actress very grating (and to actually be a poor actress in my opinion). On top of that, it just screamed "bad CW show"
5 months ago on Moffat Battles The Five(ish) Doctors Again
Well, the pacing was absolutely rubbish. There were bad jokes that went on just a bit too long. Clara was treated as a plot device (again). Bad wigs happened. Some unnecessary exposition was given while other more pressing matters were left open. 11 was completely out of character when he destroyed the Daleks with his regeneration. Oh and the fact that the cybermen and daleks were in it. They're just a tad bit overused.

@AlessandroArsuffi @Deus_Ex_Machina In the same style as "Dreamland"? Really? As far as I recall the animation in that was abysmally poor. However, I do think that animating some more of the Audio Dramas could be a worthwhile venture.

@gunslinger19 It depends. I don't think even the Daleks could handle an army of Robert Patrick T-1000's.

Do we actually need a big bad? I think it would be charming change of pace to have no over-reaching arc (besides character developement) and just have standalone single stories (or two parters).
