@YaelMoise Or adds to it. It really just depends how good the new story would be.

@TheDoctornator It does seem kind of unnecessary but if they've got a good storyline, I guess 'Why not?'

I think Omega would fit fantastically in Series 8.

@DC815 Woah... That's harsh... What does DC815 stand for? Ah, of course, you're the 815th Dalek Conspirator...Hmmm....
Although that one was slightly OTT, it fitted Davros' character and introduced him to the new era perfectly. He doesn't care if he is destroyed with all other matter, he just wants to be the one powerful enough to cause such destruction. ..
This links back to his speech in Destiny of the Daleks.
"To hold in my hand, a capsule containing such power... Yes! I would do it!"

True, but the arc still felt lighter in a way. Don't get me wrong, I loved most of Moffat's work, it's just time for some change...
Interesting Article. I found it incredibly sad when I realised the War Doctor wouldn't remember he saved Gallifrey because we now know all the grief we saw 9 go through especially, was for nothing. It was false. This made Eccleston's portrayal even more 'Fantastic' (see what I did there?) and truly adds to the drama when re-watching Season 27.

I think it's time for a new showrunner. Someone who can come up with lighter story arcs that don't end in the universe exploding or the whole of time collapsing, something more like the Saxon story arc, dangerous but not mentally dangerous for the characters.
