Happy Birthday David!!!! It's funny it feels like only yesterday when I was commenting last year on how many Doctor's birthdays there are in April...

Hurt was great, but he had one episode, as a Doctor, I feel like we don't know enough about him to possibly contend with any of the other Doctors.

I've said 9/10 for all 3 so far. I just love them all so much, but they are not quite on the level of Capaldi, imo.

@Mr Meglos Definitely shows different tastes. Planet of the Dead is in my top 20, and most of the others are in the top half barring Fear Her, The Next Doctor and Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS.

My bottom 10:

10. The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe

7. Boom Town

6. The Long Game

5. Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks

4. Aliens of London/World War Three

3. The Next Doctor

1. Love & Monsters

To be fair, anything above Aliens of London/World War Three, I would watch over most other TV any day.

My top 20:

1. Flatline

2. Mummy on the Orient Express

3. The Waters of Mars

5. The Snowmen

6. Listen

7. Blink

8. Midnight

9. Human Nature/Family of Blood

10. A Christmas Carol

12. Dark Water/Death in Heaven

13. Vincent and the Doctor

14. The Doctor's Wife

15. Planet of the Dead

16. The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances

17. The Rings of Akhaten

18. The God Complex

19. The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood

20. The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit

Episodes on DWTV's top 20 on my list:

Turn Left: DWTV-20, Me-57

Midnight: DWTV-18, Me-8

The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon: DWTV-17, Me-31

Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways: DWTV-16, Me-36

Flatline: DWTV-15, Me-1

The Waters of Mars: DWTV-14, Me-3

The Doctor's Wife: DWTV-13, Me-14

Vincent and the Doctor: DWTV-12, Me-13

11 out of my top 20 made it in to these ratings. Not bad. Kind of what I was expecting, honestly. Planet of the Dead, Rings of Akhaten, and The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood, are extremely underrated, and I think The Girl in the Fireplace is slightly overrated.

Is anyone else confused how this bracket worked, because there were definitely 6 choices over the weekend, and there are 4 episodes in and four episodes out, what about the last 4?

@SirTrey is Backing The Eleventh Hour @BLINKANDYOUREDEAD Well Eleventh Hour is better than Impossible Astronaut, but since Vincent and the Doctor was going up against Eleventh Hour last round, it made more sense.

Vincent and the Doctor should be in place of the Eleventh Hour IMO.

I agree with a lot of the comments saying "The chief grievance from most Whovians is the quality of writing we have had, expressly in the current Moffat era" is definitely not the chief grievance of "most" Whovians, and is particularly harsh of Moffat, the one who keeps expressing how much of a tolerance children have for dark themes, I totally agree that Doctor Who should have dark influences, but not at the cost of the optimism that defines the Doctor. My real question, however, is: was there a part 1 to this article, because I haven't found it?

I'm voting for Mummy on the Orient Express, Flatline and Day of the Doctor.... Oh. Only one of those is in the top six....

Well, Vincent and the Doctor, The Impossible Astronaut, and the Day of the Doctor. Both Mummy and Flatline deserve to be here and kind of Dark Water/Death in Heaven. Personally, I don't think Name of the Doctor, Listen, or Impossible Astronaut deserve to be here, no matter how much I like them.

Blink, Human Nature/The Family of Blood and Waters of Mars.

Previously I voted for Dalek, Blink, Waters of Mars, Midnight, Human Nature/The Family of Blood, and the Empty Child/The Doctor Dances. So, other than Dalek, everything made it through to the next round!!!

What I have to say is thank goodness excel was invented. I've already gone through all of these very difficult decisions myself, and so Doctor Who TV can't beat me. I just let my spreadsheet decide. HA! Mind you that day where I ranked all of those episodes was a very stress-filled day, putting all those episodes head to head..... Maybe DWTV wins after all....

@Trillian @BLINKANDYOUREDEAD I totally agree that art can be subjective, and I wasn't saying that it can't be great to some. I was honestly asking the question for someone to explain to me their point of view, so that I could understand it.

@Americanwhovian @BLINKANDYOUREDEAD That's the difference it wasn't that fun to watch for me personally. Most of the finales, I think, go too big and end up ruining what could be an intriguing plot.

This was the easiest one so far. The others were at least comparable, but The Stolen Earth/Journey's End is, at least for me, one episode I just dislike all around. I can't put my finger on any one part of it, but it just doesn't do it for me. I mean in my spreadsheet it is #80 compared with Human Nature/Family of Blood which is #10.

I didn't think she was going to be a villain last series even with the whole "you will never step inside your tardis again" thing, because it didn't seem very in character. But now they have a whole series to corrupt her fully without anyone else (like Danny) getting in the way.
