Some surprising results!

Steven Moffat has written some brilliant ones yet so the show is in safe hands

But Mark Gattis and early season 1&2 did have some shockers

Easy: Day of the Doctor

How can the top episode of Doctor Who be one where he was in it the least?

The concept of Blink was truly amazing and I do like the episode but Day was absolutely brilliant

Hmmmm... Some interesting choices and it would be good to see who/what is number one. A few I wouldn't have picked (Sound of Drums) but each to their own. My personal favourite was Flesh & Stone / Time of Angels were River burst through but it would be good to see your number one.

"I recognised Matt Smith’s tenure as the Eleventh Doctor to be a tremendous let-down,"

I could not DISAGREE more.

The shows viewing figures (International) have grown, Matt Smith is a fan favourite and DW is just about violence or scaring kids as one of my favourite episodes and judging by the polls is Vincent And The Doctor. The show is a credible success - scary episodes or normal every day adventures.

Some of the scenes which are meant to scare in Season 8 like the Dark Water Graveyard fell flat with me but the thought of Clara on the phone to Danny when he died was scary. Some of the best ideas are left when we fill in the gaps ourselves

What an interesting article. I love this theory, I don't think when the producers started they had an age for the Doctor but I love the theory around the War Doctor and 11. Brilliant,

I voted Listen. Another Steven Moffat classic. Although Mummy was absolutely brilliant some of the CGI let it down a bit but other than that it was great!

DWTV -perhaps a vote: who is better River or Jack?

I much prefer River. Jack just got cheesy in Who whilst River got serious.

I do wish we could have one final appearance of River with 12

I think as Matt Smith played the Doctor so incredibly well he is just taking a little longer to get over than expected. It's like your first girlfriend after the love of your life... You never forget you're first love and every girl you meet afterwards you compare her too until you meet The One. Peter Capaldi is The Doctor. He's just not my Doctor yet...

With a little revision, you could remove the deadly robot “angels” from Voyage of the Damned, and that episode would work just as well, or perhaps even better.

INFORMATION... ABSOLUTELY

Information... They ruined the episode as well as they surrounding characters and hammy acting

Information... Great article. Absolutely love the threads and ideas

MAY just be me but what really annoys me about 2 parters is that part 1 is always called something different to part 2. I think it should have been Death in Heaven- and Death in Heaven Part 2

3 weeks, 4 days ago on Why More Two-Parters Is A Good Thing

Good article but may not be without its faults:

If in the poll people are ranking single episodes higher and 2 parters coming bottom it may be why season 7 and 8 had less of them. Felt Flatline was great for 45 minutes but can see your point of view

Plus, I don't even notice plot holes till people point them out.

I really didn't like Deep Breath. I didn't like how long it took for the regeneration amnesia to wear off. I preferred the 11th Hour, walk into a tree, try some strange food and done. I did love everything from the restaurant scene onwards and the part before the intro. Really didn't care for robots of Sherwood either but loved Into The Dalek. 5,10,1

It's true, it doesn't really matter but something as simple as giving an episode a score out of 10 why do some people twist and alter the scoring system to scores like "8.36 but I gave it a 9/10" it just baffles me (because if you were to round down it would be 8/10 but then your own personal preference means of how you worked it out even if your results say 8 you are giving it 9 regardless).

And then you get some even crazier (some may say passionate) people saying "the third character plot and music score was sublime, however the lighting was okay but the second scene sub plot in the finale 5 minutes felt rushed blah blah blah I'm giving it a 7/10" it's like are you really reading too much into a 45 minute episode.

Was it good to watch? Did you enjoy it? What the score out of 10?

That is true but when people say scores like 8.4287 etc I honestly think "why not just say 8/10" surely if you think like reason such as "the second verse of the music in the 3rd scene didn't really go well with the line the character said" you really can be reading way too much into an episode. Everyone's passionate I agree, some are just a little obsessive though.
