I loved the Daleks in. Victory of the Daleks. It put a whole new spin on them and I thought they looked pretty good; tall, colourful yet still scary

I thought this series was absolutely brilliant and to read your synopsis on each episode reminds me who much I looked forward to each episode.

I thought each episode was great including The Power Of Three (I would say it was better then the Gunslinger) and I look forward to your part 2

I always , always look forward to the finale but always know it will be a long wait till the next series. I love the finale as all the loose ends from the series are tied together (and I can never guess the outcome) and I always look forward to the clip of the Christmas special.

I wonder when series 9 starts....?

I hate prequels: you know what's going to happen anyway. Unfortunately we all know how the 8th doctor goes. Maybe a one off visit in a future episode in a few years.

The reason I don't think TimeLords can be human is because of the Doctor Donna scenario. A human can't handle a TimeLord brain.

If this Masters regeneration can survive a bullet from his wife and being brought back from the dead, and being locked in the Time War I'm sure 10 could survive radiation and 11 old age.

A new actor please!

Very true, yes. Whilst I didn't like RTD era it's funny that I didn't really express my view till I came across sites like this. Where some fans would hurl twitter abuse or write in personally to RTD (to me that's just wrong) there is overstepping the mark and then there is voicing an opinion and unfortantely no matter how hard you try you will never be able to draw the line as every comment is going to be open to interpretion.

Whereas people have preferences over direction of the show and story lines the original point stands: the only thing that matters to the BBC is viewing figures and sales not views- if they drop there may be an investigation but as they continue to rise and the programme is such a money maker to them it doesn't really matter what people think as you can't please everyone.

Whilst I love this website (I never click on the spoilers!) and others there is always going to be a way of expressing an opinion unless you lose the comments section on each page.

Jesus people. It's just a TV programme.

Stop biting the hand that feeds you and just agree to disagree.

I think Moffat is doing an absolutely cracking job. Viewing figures and merchandise sales ARE the only factor BBC bosses look at.

If you don't like it, don't watch the show. Things will then change...

Like another hiatus, and no one wants that.

It's just a small percentage of people that moan and the fact there has been so many articles on her just adds fuel to the fire.

Whether or not you are just saying this to create a bit of mischief I have no idea but data and facts say otherwise:

1. International figures since Moffat & crew took over have gone through the roof

2. It's the 2nd biggest export of the BBC to other countries (after Top Gear)

3. The showrunners and writers continue to win more awards (Hugo, BAFTA) and the showrunner that won these awards under the RTD era is now in charge

4. The number of acclaimed actors wanting to participate in the show has grown

5. The merchandise alone for the BBC is a cash-cow

Whilst everyone has their preference about who runs it best, in my opinion it has gone from strength to strength

To be honest I found Dalek a little boring. Bland. Basic. Board line. Something beginning with B. The story was good but apart from the Doctor the acting was hammy.

The only thing that ruined Cold War was the reveal of the Ice Warrior at the end.

I agree with most points bar the 45 minute episode. Star Trek The Next Generation and other incarnations managed to pack a good story into 45 minutes. I thought the majority of episodes were of a high standard. I did enjoy the split in series 6 (6 weeks) as opposed to series 7's split of 6 months; that really did annoy me.
