Personally, I am glad that it's shown in the cinema, because over here the show is broadcast on a pay tv channel only. And paying 25€ per month on top of the usual tv licence for just a bit of Doctor Who plus tons of crap - well, no.....

Also, it's really nice to meet other people who love the show despite it not being as popular as in the UK and the US or anywhere else. You know, people who don't look at me funny when I'm wearing (i.e. tripping over) my scarf or having multiple miniature sonics dangling from my TARDIS bag...

Long(ish) story short: I love the idea and am almost beyond excitement!

But I'm also a bit sad, because I know that once the 23rd is over I'll have to wait for the DVD release to see what's coming next.

I'd love to see Innuendos in Space! Even if it's only a minisode, it definitely needs to happen!

I love that scene, too! And I totally stole Eccleston's "And I was having such a nice day..." (including his accent) when I see or hear somesthing I don't like.

I have seen it recently, but hey, that story is almost 30 years old now. I'd say it's time for a fresh take on science. :-)

What about the Doctor meeting some or the other famous scientist, like Archimedes, Galileo, Mendeleev, Newton or maybe even the whole Curie family? Being a physicist myself, I'd totally love to see some science (without much of the fiction part) in the show.

Yeah, that was really funny! And, if you look closely at Anderson's wall of notes, there is something in the corner that appears to look like a drawing of the TARDIS. I know it most likely isn't, but it sure looks like it.

For me, the most heartbreaking scene is at the end of The End of Time. Not so much the regeneation and stuff, but rather Ood Sigma standing there and saying "The Universe will sing you to your sleep".

Just thinking about that makes me want to cry again, I think I'll better go and get a tissue. Gnah, who am I trying to kid? Make that a bed sheet...

What about Alonso? If I'm not completely mistaken, Voyage of the Damned and The End of Time were written by RTD.

I see a tiny bit of similarity in the beat of the intro, and funnily enough the title means 'shatter time' in English. Coincidence?

I'm a bit ambivalent about Moffat. Some of his episodes range between 'great' and 'utterly fantastic', and then there's some that are 'okay with a hint of meh'.

So, I'm fine with him either staying or leaving - in the end it will be his decision, after all...

Hey everyone! I'm a long time DWTV-lurker from Germany and now that there's a new commenting system, I thought it might be a good idea to jump headfirst into the action and say hi. :)
