I still like TDW but it has issues like the suggestion that Time Lord can regenerate into females and a couple other things I'm just not a fan of.

Vincent - 8
Lodger - 6
Pandorica/Big Bang - 4
Christmas Carol - 7
The Pandorica finale had some good and touching moments, but the rest made no sense to me. Still some good acting and cool FX.
@Huknar I agree, it felt so random and too sudden. This transition really needed several episodes or even a whole series to be believable. It was super rushed and it took me out of the story.

All ok episodes. Amy's Choice was a dull story to me, but the Dream Lord was an interesting concept.
Really not a fan of this era or the 11th Doctor (though he grew on me in S7), but I liked some episodes here and there.

@TardisBoy! agreed. the article is clearly flawed. If anything, the RTD era was all about the characters and Moffat more about plots, which is why I prefer RTD's because I cared for those characters.

@PaddyB try dailymotion.com
I saw it there last year.
@The MasterDoctor The Time War changed the Doctor at his core, though. He was now a battle-scarred soldier and the last of his civilization. I think that's enough to change someone a lot. Also, each Doctor has dfferent feelings, personalities, even different tastes in food.
I think it also helps to think of each Doctor as a brand new adventure and journey. He's so different each time and only keeps those memories but interprets them in his own unique way. For instance, Ten never forgot the war, but 11 moved on, or so he said..

@Notsosmartguy @stargazer0118 @Huknar yes I read it, but I can also read between the lines..
@Sontaran17 I understand that, but how many articles like this do we need, though? I don't see people changing... not permanently. Some people just get offended for anything and get personal very quickly. You know who you are. I have been attacked for hating episodes like 'Listen' and for my strong dislike for Clara and series 8 in general. Some just can't handle the criticisms and get personal.
Not this again... seriously? If you love it, love it! If you don't, that's fine too!
@Huknar I agree. It's not like things are going to change... We criticize because we think the show can do better. Some people love some characters/stories and hate others, but of course it hurts when people don't like your fav. This is fandom.
@Mark McCullough because he can.
@Malohkeh, not a member of any acronyms @Mark McCullough That was campily awesome!
@Polyphase @The Finn is excited for audio Kate Stewart! Why not? Everybody has a breaking point.
@russell t dalek great post. Yes, I find The Flood much more scary and unstoppable than the Angels. Those practical effects were suberb.
Planet of the Dead - 7
The Waters of Mars - 1000
The End of Time/TEoT Part 2 - 9.5 (rounded up to 10)
Planet is ok, but nothing special.
Waters of Mars is simply FANTASTIC; a fabulous and powerful drama that takes the Doctor to new and dark places like never before and never since. Just thinking about it makes my heart race! The acting here is suberb, the music is truly haunting, all the characters are memorable and compelling, especially Adelaide, and the visuals are first rate. Oh how Doctor Who has evolved from when it first started. This should have been a move in the theaters. One of the best things about this story is that it is to me the culmination of the 10th Doctor's character. All his build up those years took him here. It was a gradual and subtle, but poignant process. When the Doctor decides to truly be the Lord of Time and realizes that is the winner, now that is what I call riveting drama at its best. How can you go up after this? Well...
The End of Time happened. And it was glorious. Mostly. Yes the Master's regeneration was rushed, and the first part wasn't as good as Waters of Mars, but it was still very good and compelling. The second part is perfection as far as I know. Everything works; Wilf, the Masters, the music, the action, the Time Lords, the Doctor, the goodbyes, and especially the Four Knocks scene. Never saw that coming. Oh it broke my heart! It really wasn't fair like our Time Lord Victorious shouted to the Universe, but once again our Doctor shows why he is my favorite character ever when he sacrifices his life for old Wilf. Yes, there are a few flaws here and there, but when a story and characters are so powerful, I can easily ignore those things because I'm completely enthraled in such amazing drama. This is without a doubt some of the best and more entertaining TV I've ever seen. Thank you RTD.

@russell t dalek it doesn't ruin it, it just expands it.
Midnight - 10
Turn Left - 10
The Stolen Earth/Journey's End 9.5 (rounded up to 10)
The Next Doctor - 8
The first 3 stories are Who at it's best; great drama, genuine emotion and character exploration, lots of fun, lots of spectacle, and great characters to root for. Just the way I like it. Sure there are a few flaws, but there is so much great stuff in them I can easily ignore it.
The Next Doctor is solid and enjoyable, but nothing outstanding.

@supermoff Davros was completely insane, so he was in character.
The Doctor's Daughter - 6
The Unicorn & The Wasp - 8
Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead - 8
I'm one of those who think The Doctor's Daughter was very mediocre and overall poorly developed, but some scenes with David Tennant are so poignant and beautifully acted that save it a bit for me. Wasp is inoffensive fun. Library is very good, but I can barely tolerate River Song in it. Sorry but I despise the character. However, Tennant and Tate and the wonderful music are so good in it, so it's not a complete waste.

@TheNightmareChild: Most Generous Voter the Doctor's daughter?
2 weeks, 1 day ago on Rank the Revival: 2008 Part 1
@FireplaceGirl I agree that Martha was kind of dull, but I did like her story nevertheless..
Donna was awesome.. most of the time. Have to admit enjoying her character a lot, but there were times when she was loud, but overall she worked great with Tennant.
@RoastNewt I think I heard he was sick or something.
@TheNightmareChild: Most Generous Voter I meant self preservation.
@TheNightmareChild: Most Generous Voter I don't really think she thought he was an idiot, though. She just pretended as a way of self-conservation and her reaction to his arrogance. Deep down she liked him a lot.
@RoastNewt was the actor unavailable at the time?
@Notsosmartguy @Conall McCormick I disagree. I think the Sontarans were a very decent enemy in these episodes, but sadly they have been turned into a joke thanks to Strax. I get why some like him, but I to me he's a disservice to that race of warriors. He reminds me to Jar Jar from Star Wars.
Partners In Crime - 8
The Fires of Pompeii - 9
Planet of the Ood - 9
The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky - 9
Pompeii is the best episode here and almost gave a 10, but I'll reserve it for my fav episodes. It's brilliant, though. The Sontaran eps get lots of hate, but I love them!
