@KingoftheOod4450 I agree with you about the flaws, except I think that there is many more than that. I didn't like David Tennant's either, just like I didn't like Matt Smith's.

@ilyootha, agent of C.L.A.R.A. The Snowmen. Although Last Christmas was quite good, to be completely honest with you.
@EamonUltimateCliffhanger It is good, very good indeed.
@supermoff @TheCyberDoctor is Upgrading Christmas I feel as though that's all Doctor Who is about nowadays, dialogue. And it's good, but that's literally it. I know other people who are of that same opinion too, but they were very good dialogue at that.
A Christmas Carol, easily.
3 months, 3 weeks ago on Festive Face-Off: Last Christmas vs A Christmas Carol
@SWTV Maybe it's because, this is what I am thinking, it is because that, well, since Moffat became shownrunner, there was a lot more of an american audience, which is a good thing and I know that not everyone on here, this site, is British, so I presume that might have something to do with it, more people have seen those specials, than the Russell T Davies era, which was brilliant too, just a thought and my guess.
@supermoff I didn't like The Time Of The Doctor for ages and it's only very recently that I've had a change of heart. I see that it's okay, but personally, I just really don't think that Matt Smith deserved to go that way. He deserved better, as the story just didn't do him justice at all. But everyone has their opinions and everyone is entitled to them. There is no right or wrong result. Each episode is somebody's favourite, even if it is The Rings Of Akhaten. This is only the favourite of this site and not from everyone. May the best Christmas Special win.
@geekyviolinist I agree completely with the last sentence.
@Tardis Boy I do like Voyage Of The Damned more, but A Christmas Carol is brilliant, and although the floating fsh may seem stupid, it just works and I don't think it is stupid, I think it's brilliant. It is the most Christmassy Christmas Special Episode EVER! I think so anyway.
@Antee991166 That'd be good actually.
@TheCyberDoctor is Upgrading Christmas A Christmas Carol. A spin on an old classic, and a Doctor Who spin at that. My advice anyways.
@supermoff A Christmas Carol. Matt Smith at his best too.
No. She's been there too long now and I've always hated the character. It's a shame because I really like Jenna Coleman. I think she should do 5 episodes, like Amy Pond and she would have done 30 episodes then. But not a whole run. I can't believe they only figured it out now, that they can keep secrets due to filming in January, because I thought and think that's what they should have done with the 12th Doctor, kept it a secret until the day. lol.
3 months, 3 weeks ago on Clara’s Fate & Series 9 (Spoilers)
It was alright, average at best. Better than Series 8 definitely. I really wanted Clara to leave and just as we were about to get rid of her. Glad Shona isn't the new companion, the dancing thing was annoying, but she was alright. I really wish that Natalie Gumede was the next companion. She just really needs to be. To be fair though, I don't think her dying of old age, is the perfect and fitting ending for Clara. She should have been killed by Missy in Death In Heaven. I love the fact that they finally did a Christmassy feel to the opening titles, finally. Alright episode though. Glad Natalie Gumede didn't die.

@Scootersfood is in love with The Mistress @jsx No, really not Journey Blue's clone, it's Natalie Gumede. How come no one can tell the difference between that Journey girl and Kirsty Soames from Coronation Street. The acting is superb from Natalie Gumede, unlike Journey Blue's, not saying she's bad at all though. I'm just saying that literally 2 seconds of Natalie Gumede beets Journey Blue for 45 minutes by FAR!!!! :) :D
@Avor It's Natalie Gumede off Coronation Street and Strictly Come Dancing.
@Christoph1337 @Avor It is really, really not Journey Blue. How?
Yes, but I'm not keen on this series at all. I am not warming or taking to this character of The Twelfth Doctor. I feel as though Peter Capaldi isn't playing an actual and individual character. I feel as though that the part has been written around and for him, particularly. Hopefully, next time, they actually put out auditions, rather than just picking your man crush and your favourite actor.
5 months, 3 weeks ago on Poll: Is Clara Overshadowing the Doctor?
To be fair, it's been the best one so far. Few forgivable flaws and then the ending was a little bit too rushed.
1. Mummy On The Orient Express 5/10
2. Listen 4/10
3. Deep Breath 4/10
4. Flatline 4/10
5. The Caretaker 3/10
6. Robot Of Sherwood 3/10
7. Time Heist 3/10
8. Into The Dalek 2/10
9. Kill The Moon 2/10
Really has been the worst series so far. It's a real shame. Not too keen on Peter's Doctor yet, he seems to be a tiny bit of the same in everything he's in, but with his lines, it's a little different sound in the lines that he says to The Doctor. I feel as though this Doctor isn't a Doctor, I just feel as though it's been written for and around Peter Capaldi, which is not good at all. Hopefully, the episodes getting better might help him and make him have more of a role like the other Doctor's did in their first series. Plus, he's not had one of those like YES moments in his premier, unlike Chris, Dave and Matt did. Clara's got better and is fine now, still a tad annoying though. All of it is mainly due to the writing. It's a real shame, it honestly is. I bet if Clara leaves, it'll still be about her (mentioned all the time), Nah, I'm joking, they hardly ever seem to anymore now anyway. Hope it gets better and absolutely loving the Missy plot, best part of each and every episode she's in, plus the NEW OPENING TITLES, much better than the original by far, no offence though. Please respect my opinion lol, I respect all yours. Even if you do like The Rings Of Akhaten! ;)

4. The Caretaker
5. Robot Of Sherwood
6. Time Heist
7. Into The Dalek
8. Kill The Moon
6 months ago on Your Verdict on Kill the Moon & Episode Ranking
Rubbish episode, just like this series. It wasn't funny and I'm guessing it was meant to be. Yet again, one of the most destroying robot in the universe still manages to miss The Doctor, Clara and Danny and the bit where he jumped over it was just pathetic. There was no actual point to the story, it was just for The Doctor/Danny thing and they added in that rubbish robot. Danny's questions to Clara were pretty stupid. It didn't make any sense and not really full explained. Yet again, a rubbish episode and left me very disappointed, just like every episode this series. The only thing I look forward to in an episode is the opening titles sequence and Missy!
I'm so annoyed and angry that my favourite programme is now my sixth favourite programme and the only reason that is, is due to the good episode from Series One-Seven Part One and obviously the Classics were quite good too, although I'm more of a New Who Boy. But they help boost it to six. I don't even really like EastEnders, it's depressing, but it's a lot better than Doctor Who is right now. I think the writers are good, just not for Doctor Who anymore. Moffat and Gatiss and Thompson should all just concentrate on Sherlock, although the side for that was slightly slipping, a lot of things that threw back to Doctor Who.
Please can we have one good episode, at least just one, please!

@theballaam96 @Fart pixie I agree and have said so myself. I can admit when the program I once loved is rubbish. It's a real shame, that since 2013 Doctor Who has just got from bad to worse. The last good episodes were The Bells Of Saint John and The Name Of The Doctor, the rest have been terrible.

@Captain Grumpy Don't know how Into The Dalek could get any votes, it was just basically the same episode, but done really badly, trying to be clever and epicly failed.

Just doesn't sound interesting in the slightest.

I can't stand the game. Well, actually it's alright, I have played it like once or twice and it's okay, but it's nothing special. But what put me off it was my friends like bashing it like mad and talking about only that all the time. Plus, I hate the way a lot of people bash it too, so that like pretty much puts me off completely. It's blocks and pixelated. Oh well, Doctor Who's going anyway. Oh and when I say going.
7 months, 3 weeks ago on Doctor Who Officially Invades Minecraft
I think she should leave this Christmas. I don't like the character, but I do like the actress. I will miss her in a weird way, probably because the next companion might be terrible, haha. But I think it is her time and she will outstay her welcome if she stays any longer. It feels like she's leaving too soon though, but that's only because we've had her for 12 Episodes so far, but we will have 13 more, so she will have 25 Episodes under her belt, a good number to finish on. Amy did 33 Episodes and then that was her time to leave, so goodbye Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald.

8 months ago on The Series 8 Title Sequence
I don't like the way Clara says: "You've redecorated. I don't like it." She just doesn't say it right. David Tennant did, or Matt Smith did. I just don't like the way she says it, it just doesn't seem real at all. I hope that it's just the trailer makes it sound like that, because sometimes the episodes sound completely different to the trailers. Let's hope anyway haha lol.
8 months, 1 week ago on Deep Breath TV Trailer
I was right and you all said I was wrong, he was the only person to audition and that is incredibly bad. Wrong decision, many people should audition, it's obvious they are too far up Peter Capaldi's, let's end the sentence there anyway shall we.
8 months, 1 week ago on Weird and Wonderful
Episode 11 and 12 should be 60 minutes. Because they've taken 15 minutes out of Episode 13 and placed it into the 60 minute opener, there for making it 75 minutes, so add the remaining 30 to the final two episodes, at least, in a way, we are still getting our thirteenth episode and it's not wasted at all, because it's ridiculous that we don't have one this year. Plus, I think this should be Clara's last, she'll have done 25 Episodes, good number to leave and depart on really, to be honest, but then again, she might be scared of being out on a job, really, but who knows.
8 months, 1 week ago on 2014’s Christmas Special Director
I have a feeling that Clara will probably join U.N.I.T. To be honest, I am not keen on her character, but I do think that the actress, Jenna Coleman is a brilliant actress. I just hope that Peter Capaldi's good, not even my favourite Doctor, just that he is good. I hope that Clara gets better as the series goes on and most of all, I hope the episodes are good. Series 7 Part 2 was a massive disappointment, minus 2 episodes, The Bells Of Saint John was okay and The Name Of The Doctor was absolutely brilliant. I also did not like the 2013 Specials, I didn't like The Day Of The Doctor and I believe thoroughly that The Time Of The Doctor is the worst episode EVER, in my eyes and that is my opinion. I just really hope that Peter Capaldi gets a good start, as every New-Who and probably every Doctor has. Matt Smith and David Tennant didn't get the exit they deserved, so I hope that Peter Capaldi does. Good start, good tenure, good run, good end. That's the way it should be. Not criticizing (for a change), just explaining what I want and think should happen.
I really hope that Clara dies. Not in a mean or weird way and it's not because she is my least favourite New-Who companion at the moment, it's because I think it is the best possible exit for her. I really want her last ever Doctor Who lines to be:
Clare: "Run. Run you clever boy and remember me."
I kind of even wanted one of my favourite companions, Amy Pond to die, as I didn't want her to keep returning. I wouldn't mind Clara returning for maybe the 60th or something like that, but they should always be her last lines, even if they are repeated after her original run, or that is when she actually dies. I think it is the best possible exit for her and I hope they do it in a cool and sacrificing way. But also, the Doctor saving her somehow this time, bit like he did with River Song, but Clara actually dies, he just does something to save her before or something nice after she dies.

@supermoff @MeglosProductions @JJ2000 I agree, I also liked Moffat's episodes in 2012, they were good as well. I did like Dinosaurs On A Spaceship though.

@Notsosmartguy approves of female thor @MeglosProductions @JJ2000 I disagree. Time was the worst Episode EVER!!!! In my opinion and not a big favourite amongst a lot of fans.
@MeglosProductions @JJ2000 REALLY? I think you're being sarcastic. AOTD, DOAS, ATCM, TATM were brilliant, TPOT was not.
My main expectation is I want good writing. If you don't know what I mean, watch Series 7 Part 2 Episodes 7-12, that's the opposite of what I want. Also watch the 2013 Specials, I want the opposite of that. Many will disagree, it's your opinion, as this is mine.
Stop complicating things Moffat. He is the Twelfth Doctor, like it or not. Us fans call him that, he has mentioned it a few times and that's it. Just because you tried to grab headlines, just by making an extra Doctor be there, it is still the same order, you just decided to make you establishment in the show's history and sort of ruined it, so cheers for that one again.
8 months, 4 weeks ago on Moffat Questions “Twelfth Doctor” Title
They don't sound too appealing to be honest. Neither did Series 7 Part 2 and that turned out to be the worst series to date. I just hope that this series is good, the finale seems a little bit interesting. Not too sure on all the other episodes though. Wait and see anyway.

I didn't like Sky. She was basically the new Luke, exactly the same story and an annoying character and helped ruin Series 5 for me, which is why I was shocked by this article. Please don't ever bring this character back. She just didn't fit in for me.
9 months ago on Bring Back… Sky Smith
I think it should be as follows:
The Doctor - Peter Capaldi
Companion - Jenna Coleman (or whoever it is at the time, I'm not particularly keen on Clara either)
Monster/Villain - Slitheen or Weeping Angels and Silence (Silence have been underused, Weeping Angels, not too overused, still great), Ood would be good as well or Judoon as cameo and even Silurians as a nod to the classic era. Love the Vashta Nerada, too good to appear again.
Other Doctors - Matt Smith (Possibly, would be better for 60th though, 10 years later, fandom hype up)
Other companions - Kate Stewart, Madame Vastra, Jenny, Strax, Captain Jack Harkness, TORCHWOOD team, Martha Jones and Mickey Smith. River Song (possibly).
I don't want the episode to let me down like the 50th did though and I think it should only be an hour and really, it should be in the last week (Saturday) of March.
Whatever happens, I just hope it is good and it isn't too full, with too much happening, as it's only an anniversary of the revival, 10 years on and the 52nd anniversary.
It also has to be a nod to each year.
2005 - Captain Jack, Mickey, Slitheen, Autons
2006 - Mickey, Ood, K-9
2007 - Martha, Judoon, Weeping Angels, Captain Jack
2008 - Martha, Mickey, Captain Jack, Ood, River Song, K-9, Judoon
2009 - Martha, Jack, Mickey (kind of 2010 actually lol)
2010 - 11, Weeping Angels, Judoon, River Song, Silurians
2011 - 11, Silence, River Song, Vastra, Jenny, Strax, Silurians, Ood,
2012 - 11, River Song, Weeping Angels, Paternoster Gang.
You get the jist lol, I'm tired, so you must be from reading, once I've got going, I can't bloody well stop, haha. Might pen an episode as well whilst am at it haha lol.
9 months ago on Will There Be a 10th Anniversary Special for the Revival?
I am personally upset with Steven Moffat and I believe that Doctor Who is going way down. I hope this doesn't happen with Series 8, because Peter Capaldi deserves a chance. The three previous Doctors had a really good or fantastic, if you prefer, entrance, but only one got the exit they deserved. I believe that the writing is going down, my opinion and Steven Moffat is too busy to concentrate mainly on Doctor Who and that is why there was only 6 episodes in 2012 and ten in 2013. Now he's got rid of one episode and now there is 12 and a christmas special, which I think is really ridiculous. Now the BBC have no excuses why they cannot do a Paul McGann, Eighth Doctor, mini-series.
I think that in September/October 2016, Paul McGann should get an eight (8) episode mini-series.
Easter 2016 - Doctor Who (12 Episodes)
September/October/November 2016 - Doctor Who: Eighth Doctor series (8 Episodes)
Doctor Who can have 20 Episodes, plus two christmas specials, one the current Doctor and maybe the other the Eighth Doctor. Different teams working on each. On BBC One, not a kids series, not an adult, basically family show on the same par as Doctor Who.
Plus, for coming up with the idea, I bagsy first dibs on becoming a male companion.
9 months, 1 week ago on What If… the 8th Doctor Had Had a Full TV Run?
The article was okay, but it just seemed to be about the time war and not much about what the series would have been like.
I think this is something possibly all to do with the people in the Doctor's life. It sounds quite interesting, I'm just really doubting this series, as the last was rubbish and Steven Moffat's writing has gone down so much and I now hate his style of writing. I believe that all his male actors are the same, the women are cool and there to advertise and that he only gets his 'pals' to write. Hoping it is good though and I become the mega-fan that I once was between 2005 and 2013.
