Peter Capaldi, definitely, he had a wonderful first run as the Doctor and I love the way his portrayal developed throughout the series. Comparing Deep Breath/Into the Dalek Twelve and Last Christmas Twelve is like comparing night and day, yet you still recognise his "core" as the Doctor. It's brilliant.

The Boneless, the Mummy/Foretold and the Listen entity were my favourite new monsters, but I feel like the Listen one needs to be revisited and developed more. The Boneless really terrified me with the way they killed people and the way they came up from the earth and walked like broken things. Really, really creepy. So I voted for the Boneless.

This was so hard! I figured Nick Frost will probably win whether or not he gets my vote, so I went for Jonathan Bailey. I've loved him as an actor for years and was so thrilled when he was announced for Time Heist.

I am a day late, but I only just watched it (I'm up in the Norwegian mountains with poor wifi fml) and I just have to say I LOVED THE EPISODE.

I was so relieved to find myself loving it, especially after last year's nightmare of a Christmas special. I could've done without Danny appearing, but other than that, absolute perfection in my opinion.

And I'm over the moon after finding out Jenna is staying for all of series 9. Hello Cardiff and DWSR!

@The Lazy Cat is Hanging Out With Jenna Coleman I'd love to see her do theatre, especially Shakespeare, and I know she wants to get back on stage. But TV shows/movies, hmm... maybe Atlantis, or another Jane Austen adaptation!

@Ottoman14 @ClaraOswald Like I said, Eccleston was my first Doctor. So I voted for him, because yes, I do read the articles before voting and commenting. Still doesn't mean Eccleston is MY Doctor.

Yes, I did vote for Eccleston. I read the article before I commented, relax.

2 months, 1 week ago on From 1-12: Who is YOUR Doctor?

My first Doctor was Eccleston, but he is definitely not MY Doctor. Matt Smith is MY Doctor. I used to think Tennant was, but then the 50th Anniversary came around and I got to see Tennant and Smith together and I realised that the Eleventh Doctor is closest to my heart.

My Classic Doctor so far is Pertwee, with Davison close behind.

I hope Jenna stays for AT LEAST another series. Clara is a brilliant character and she's been a wonderful addition to the show. If it wasn't for Jenna/Clara, I would definitely have had a harder time accepting Twelve.

I never liked the Clara/Danny pairing, so no sadness for me there. I never felt anything for Missy, so nothing there either. Clara leaving? Well, Jenna is in the Christmas special, so no lasting grief. The only thing that made me feel, well, //anything// was Osgood's death. Other than that, I just felt empty and unsatisfied.

The story was a jumble of too many things happening at once, everything felt rushed.

Not a favourite, which I am really upset about, because I wanted it to be fantastic and I wanted to love it, but I just don't.

The Caretaker is still my least favourite of the series though.

I'd vote for Peter if there was a separate Actor/Actress category, but since he's up against Jenna I'm afraid he's got no choice with me. Jenna has been amazing and finally the rest of the fandom are seeing what some of us have been seeing all the time: that her acting game is hella strong. She's definitely one of the best actresses I've ever watched and she works incredibly hard and is so dedicated to her work. She literally works until she becomes ill, I've witnessed it. So she's the only worthy winner of that award in my opinion.
