Is Missy a fragment of Clara? Is Clara a fragment of Missy? DID CLARA EVEN EXIST?!?!?!

OK so it looks like Clara dies early on in this episode as you can see her coming out of an RIP box when she's facing the cybermen. Also, The Doctor is alone for all of the UNIT bit so looks like goodbye Clara! :S

I have to admit, I had really low hopes for this episode, but I was blown away by it! Behind Listen, it's the best story of the series. Beautiful to watch and a great, original story to follow. And doesn't Dark Water look amazing?!?!

I really don't get this whole Clara Who thing. Clara has not been more heavily featured than any other companions, the only time she was overused was in the half Doctor-lite episode Flatline. At EVERY other episode she was used just as much as a companion should be. For half of Mummy, she wasn't even there?! What's everyone's problem? NuWho is more about the companion's journey anyway so I really don't understand this whole thing.

Looks pretty spooky! Maybe swap it with Dark Water to coincide with Halloween! (kidding...)

For me it was a bit overhyped, definitely undeserving of DWTV's 10/10. I gave it an 8 which is still an amazing score for me. My best bits: the spiders (so gross, best creature-monster in a while!), the dilemma and Courtney and Clara's relationship. Worst bits: the scene on the beach (HOW COULD IT LAY A NEW MOON IT WAS ONLY JUST BORN), Lundvik (badly acted, IMO) and the weird bit where the Doctor left. However, Series 8 is still incredible for me. It's the best series of NuWho so far without a doubt.

For me it's The Unicorn and the Wasp. I absolutely loved The Caretaker (which I was actually surprised about as I thought I was going to hate it) but TUatW is one of my all time favourites. A classic Whodunnit which has one of the best scripts of NuWho. The Ten/Donna relationship in this episode is side-splitting.

The toughest poll yet! As much as I adored listen I think it just falls slightly short of Blink as it did re-hash the invisible monster type idea (although, in it's defence, it did put a unique spin on it) and the wibbly-wobbly-times-wimey plotline to Blink was just incredible and the Weeping Angels were a stroke of genius. For me, Listen is a very close second to best NuWho episode yet.

I reckon it's gonna be a Sophie's Choice style moment involving Courtney. Maybe Clara has to decide? This series is seriously turning out to be the best ever ever.

Absolutely loved Listen. One of the best episodes of NuWho EVER! Moffat perfectly combined plot, symbolism, character studies and scares to create an awesome episode. Masterpiece!

I really didn't like Matt's cameo. Don't get me wrong, I adore the 11th Doctor, infact he is one of my favourites, but it felt like a bit of a cop out on Moffat's part. This was CAPALDI'S episode and having Matt in it not only undermined Peter, but also blurred the lines of the clean break between eras (I know Jenna is part of both, but she almost feels like a different companion this time). Imo, the whole episode focused far too much on Matt Smith and I often felt like Peter Capaldi was being antagonized by the plot.

Could Karen Gillan in TFoP just be a distant ancestor of Amy Pond? That's similar to how they worked it with Freema in AoG, they said they were cousins.

The Moff's not doing himself any favours is he? Why is he bringing this back up again? It just aggravates me that he's seemingly constantly picking into the Whovian culture. If we want to call them that, we will! And IMO, each Doctor is a different character anyway. Sure it's the same person, but they have different personalities, appearances, emotions etc etc. Just lay off it Moffat!

I think that the best arcs are the subtler ones. Examples include the mentions of 'Bad Wolf' and also the bees plotline, but also Moffat's addition of Kovarian appearing everywhere. These little things that eventually lead up to something IN THE NEAR FUTURE (hint hint, Moffat) so we can actually remember them and go "Ohh! That's clever..."

Myself, I've given up with Eleven's whole timeline. Moffat has made the age old mistake of tangling the storylines, which can be super effective for short times, like say one series, but over the course of 3 or 4 years, details are forgotten and everything gets too confusing. For me, Moffat is much better at good episodes than overall arcs. I'm just going with the flow and hoping it becomes clear later on.

Personally, I don't think a movie would work. Doctor Who is a TV show and it works best on TV. I felt that at times even Day got a little too blockbuster for the show and it lost the focus that the small screen delivers. Doctor Who is at it's heart an emotional story which focuses on the characters, oft times this simply can't translate onto the big screen; it loses the details which make Doctor Who great.

Personally, I think Name is the worst finale out of all of them. It felt a bit confused to me: was the GI the villain (in which case he was a poor one) or the Whispermen (stupidly underused and not nearly as scary as the hype said)? And I know that a finale doesn't necessarily need a singular strong villain but I feel like the only thing that fueled this episode was the admittedly great opening sequence. Also the end scene with River has still to this day got me confused. Basically, I hated it and went for Doomsday.

Really disliked this series. I'm not counting Day or Time in this series, only Name by the way. Part 1 was miles better than Part 2 and I didn't really like a single episode in the second half. I only like two stories in this series: Asylum and Manhattan. On a whole, the weakest series of the whole NuWho collection. My list from best to worst series goes like this: 1, 4, 2, 6a, 5, 6b, 3, 7a, 7b.

Really hated in when I watched it. However, on re-watch I quite enjoyed it as it was mainly Amy/Rory-centric. However, it easily has one of the worst plot resolutions in the history of the show and that brings it down a lot for me. 5/10.

Perhaps Danny will be more of a Series 2 Mickey type character: funny, chirpy, a real jack the lad. Both his name and his teaser shot seem to point that direction.

@BeyondThePolice @DW_girl  A car and the time vortex are two very different things though. It was the same problem as in Closing Time. A good sci-fi show (however wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey) CANNOT use "love" as a plot resolution. Even if this was a kids episode, it's still Doctor Who and it should have a solid plot. (Sorry if I'm coming off harsh by the way.)
