What a wonderful idea for a write up. :
Herewith some of my gut reaction favourite's there is probably many more:-
Pyramids of Mars - Staring TB and ES - I think this one sticks in my mind because it must have been one of the first I saw in the 1970's when I was a teenager. I love the voice of Sutech so creepy and effective. never get bored of watching it , also combines my love of everything Egyptian. I think this is why I love Mummy on the Orient Express so much as well.
Family of Blood - Starring DT and FA - I think the actor who plays Son of mine is amazing, so suited to the part ,again creepy and really evil in a not obvious way. Also I have the original book featuring SM's doctor so it was great to see it brought to life on screen.
The Impossible Planet - Starring DT and BP - Again it's that voice of GW who did also the voice of Stutech in Pryamids of Mars. Brilliant, great atmosphere and story.
I too love The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon - Complicated and clever just the way I like my WHO.
I think my new recent favourite is LISTEN from Series 8 - Just watched it again last night, on my new series 8 box set received this week.!! It is brilliant, wonderful story , wonderfully acted, surprising etc etc.
Well I had better stop or I will be here all day and use up several pages.
Here to Memories.!!

Matt Jones, loved the Impossible planet., Also Rob Sherman - Dalek was fab.
Not sure about Russell T, his stories tended (not all) but more childish. I find I prefer Moffat more adult stories. I don't think Terrance wants to write any mores stories, recently interview in DW Mag suggested that.

Dont' worry folks much to obvious to mean it's Clara and the Doctor 's last Christmas together, Moffat does not do obvious. (says she hopefully)

I guess that is what makes all concerned to want to keep making great Doctor Who, because it is so different every episode , it keeps it fresh and interesting, I cannot begin to imagine how hard it is but I for one appreciate it. Well done all, and especially to Steven M I think you are brilliant..

There are people out there who LIKE to complain sadly. Well done to Michelle completely agree.
It was the first time i ever cried at Doctor Who Doomsday end scene. Never happened in the old stories of the 70.s .

I would have put Robots of Sherwood and the Caretaker higher than Into the Dalek.!
2 weeks, 2 days ago on Your Verdict on Dark Water & Episode Ranking
When Doctor Who came back, me being a very old fan, I was so exciting and loved the first series. But it has lost its sparkle for me, I find it very difficult to watch again. I think Its because I prefer the more complex , darker Moffat series. But there will always be a soft spot for the Doctor Dance's.
2 weeks, 2 days ago on New Who Finales in Perspective: Series 1
If I had my way Time heist would be at the bottom, dreadful episode., and they can leave it off the DVD set at well. ............... Well only joking, there were a couple of good scene's but still my least favourite.
when she popped down to earth with an umbrella like Mary Poppins was brilliant made me giggle.!

All i can think of is that last sad scene where the doctor and clara were lying to each other. Glad they ended in a lighthearted way with father xmas turning up. Brilliant effects with the plane scenes looked rather expensive. Michelle Gomez was outstanding mad mary poppins made me giggle when she dropped out of the sky with an umbrella. as i love Mary Poppins this really connected with me. I am now looking forward to getting the box set to re watch all. A wonderful 9 from me. Ro ll on xmas.
Mine's the 23rd. - Yes so everytime I watch the 50th special , I can say it's my birthday present. I was born to LOVE Doctor Who! Hee Hee

Utopia.. i love the conversation that Jack and the doctor have when jack was in the radiation room. They were having a catch up.

Strong views indeed. But if a drama like DW insights discussion. Strong emotions and lively conversation then its doing its job. I rather liked the darker idea s but i also like funny episodes like robots of sherwood and caretaker.

I agree Mark i was not sure i liked it on first watch. Very different DW Dark and disturbing. Second watch and i agree some great moments as chosen my favourite being the volcano scene. I am still getting my head around the master being a woman!

Yes i would agree vastra n . Midnight listen and flatline are wonderfully done and very effective making the episode more interesting. I would not say scary. Unusually i am and never was scared of doctor who. I would not put vincent and the doctor in the same league they were just plain laughable .

Thanks All, sounding a little Irish or maybe a name from Merlin'ish stories. Interesting.
Ok how are we saying Maebh?
I am on the Clara 'love her' side. I think her mistakes are very real, believable and human. I think she was in love with the doctor and could not forgive him easily when he regenerated into an older less 'boyfriend material' Doctor. she was hurt , and what do we do when we are hurt we lash out. She got used to it eventually and I think deep down she has found she still has a thing for him which she is finding very hard to let go.
I have also had a really way out idea which I will say anyway even though I am probably barking up the wrong tree: Could not Danny be a future incarnation of the Doctor? (maybe he does not know it lost his memory etc or he remembers and the person he had to kill maybe in the future is Clara!) There I have said it. Goodness I must not let my imagination run away with. me Hee Hee.
