I agree, although the extra scenes in the show are a really nice touch like the Varys/Littlefinger scenes that were never there in the books

Although there are some good points int the article I would have to disagree. Doctor Who is a show about change but some things have to remain constant one of them is the theme. But I think that the current rendition of the theme is the worst one yet and I think that a new rendition of the theme would be appropriate for a new doctor

Wow some really good stuff in there, I'd want an adventure to win because it was the best thing to come out of doctor who last year in my opinion. Although it might be tough beating game of thrones though

I honk David Bradley's a brilliant actor. From his portrayal of William Hartnell, to the janitor I. Harry potter and Walder Frey in Game of Thrones. Happy birthday David hopefully you act in many more films and tv , and get the praise you deserve

For me its Day of the Doctor by far, although i enjoyed Time of the Doctor it doesn't measure up to the magic of a multi doctor story in my opinion

I really like the RTD era but in my opinion series 3 is the weakest of the series. This is because because of many reasons the biggest one being the shadow of rose. although it was nice to see the doctor morn over her due to the fact the doctor usually forgets his companions (well at least in the classic series) and they are never mentioned again. But then Maratha wasn't given enougth time which is extremely unfortunete and the whole love thing was annoying as well. I like series 3 and enjoy some episodes like the master trilogy, human nature and the Lazarus expirement but it doesn't quite live up to the other seasons

I hope we get a multi Master story one day, with the keeper of tracken Master, John Simm's and a new one if they don't keep Simm on. As long as the tv movie master doesn't return it will be a very interesting episode

I wouldn't quite call Tywin a villain he's a very grey character like all characters in Game of Thrones except Joffrey

The Master seems to have redeemed himself so I think an earlier incarnation would be better if he was to return, maybe the big finish master or the mouldy master?

Yeah we do and it works, but if Peter Parker or Hal Jordon turned into a woman it wouldn't work. A female doctor would only work in my opinion if the orginal doctor does or goes missing and a time lady takes up the mantle of the doctor.

For me Nines regenerations tops everything on this list by far. It was like seeing your best friend who you went to see every Saturday die in front of you and I cry every time I see it. I get upset at 10's regeneration and 11's. I felt nothing when the ponds left it was more of oh okay their gone, I was more happy for Vincent then sad and I wasn't really upset when I watched river song die because I didn't know her. But a good list nether the less

What I liked: The Silence is one of the best monster concepts ever although the execution isn't always brilliant, the hell of an opening with the doctor dying, the American location and characters that go with that, good acting from everybody, the mystery and clever resolution to the episode.

What I didn't like: not much really but the episode could be confusing at times because you only fully understand it when you've watched all of 11's era.

Overall a good opener with dome confusing parts here and there

8/10

Wait a minute the incarnation number amongst the doctors is addressed. In the five doctors the first doctor ask the fifth doctor what regeneration he is and five says fourth

I agree with you completely but that wasn't always the case in the classic series. Some of the Dalek stories in the original series were rather average as well. My personal favourite Dalek story is 'Dalek' in Series 1. It is in my opinion the best Dalek story ever

5 months, 3 weeks ago on Best of Matt Smith: Victory of the Daleks

This is a rather average episode for me although the way they did Winston Churchill was done beautifully. I didn't like The Doctors rage at the Dalek because it felt like a poor version so the dalek rage with the Ninth Doctoe in Dalek. A decent episode won some strong positives and negatives that result in an average balance

Why not even a classic doctor at one point like Paul McGann after Capaldi has established himself of course. One thing I loved about the RTD era was the return of Sarah Jane Smith and the spin off that followed. I would really like to see Jaime, Jo Grant and even Peri if they can work past the ending given to her.
