I am 63 years old, and a massive Doctor Who fan, having watched since it's start!
Damn... they know the truth! *runs* Yeah... not falling for it this year.

Fantastic series... sad to see it go... Glad Who won! Not surprised though. Very well done on a great series Gustaff!

Despite my old age, I love the Lego Video Games, so I can't wait for a Lego Doctor Who Video Game- IT'LL BE SOO FUN!

7/10. Good but with flaws and very little appearance from Special Weapons Dalek.

I didn't really enjoy it on first watch, but on re-watch (earlier today in fact, forgetting that this was tonight's poll), I REALLY REALLY Enjoyed it and thought it was just a beautiful heartwarming tale. Ok, it's a bit silly at some points but that's what makes it so good- it's not a serious drama, it's a comedic fairytale that's the sort of family film you'd see in a cinema with your kids (or in my case, great grand-kids) and it's just really emotional and heartwarming and a great ride! 9/10!

@Huknar @Pockydon Very good point in that he is timelord, and I think he can live up to 2 hours I believe... I either heard that somewhere, or made it up... not really sure. I personally loved this story.
@Huknar I'm the same as you. I didn't really enjoy it on first watch, but on re-watch (earlier today in fact, forgetting that this was tonight's poll), I REALLY REALLY Enjoyed it and thought it was just a beautiful heartwarming tale. 9/10. I really enjoyed this story. Fantastic plot, revolving around the strength of women and a mother's love and is just a fantasticly emotional story. Funilly enough, I rewatched this earlier today- I'd completely forgotten this'd be tonights poll!
Incredibly excellent article! Another very good example of Moffat being a feminist writer is The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe. The entire point of that story is the strength of women. Only Madge and Lily are strong enough to carry the forest, the two boys aren't.
1 year ago on Is Steven Moffat a Feminist Writer?
I'm actually really undecided on this one and as such can't give it a score without rewatching it first but this time with a critical mindset. I enjoyed it and thought the plot was good but it did have flaws and issues...

I sort of agree. The Sontarans are now the laughing stock of the universe and they souldn't be... and Strax is at the head of that. As much as I love Strax, he's sort of ruining and cheapening the rest of his race. I'm very devided on this though...
1 year ago on Unpopular Opinion: Strax
1/10. Despise it. Such potential, but so badly executed. Though it does have some ups: "Rory, put Hitler in the cupboard"

@cyberbrayde @Beasts_a_Snarling I am a 63 year old man, but if were a woman or homosexual then I would definately be attracted to him. He's suave soffisticated and generally good looking.
@Kiler1995 They had a cameo in the Waters of Mars
@Lady Jayne 1 Well, welcome to Doctor Who TV! Don't worry... we don't bite... well, most of us don't...
January 1976 was The Brain of Morbius, and the scene Yee Jee Tso was referring to was The Mind Bending scene which showed other Doctors so to finally get an answer will be good. I'm looking forward to it. I hope it's televised so we can finally have a Doctor Who TV Spin off series!

@Pockydon I'd worked it out also.
Very Good article. I'm enjoying the series and I agree with most of your judgements, though if it was me, I wouldn't even give Love and Monsters a 1. Easily the worst EVER story.

Fantastic article. My most heartbreaking was Vincent in the Gallery... I cry everytime I even think about or watch that scene... that quote and photo are setting me off right now.

@TheIdleIdol That's true. I just don't think it was nessecary. But no, I think I didn't look at the language close enough. Sorry 'bout that
I don't think that's good evidence of the clockwork droids returning... it doesn't work... I would like them to though... But really, don't jump to conclusions based on conjecture DWTV... it could just be another sort of droid... like C3P0...

@Moxx Cardigans are cool!
1 year ago on Your verdict on Capaldi’s Costume
@gavinbarsby No, the theory was how Frobisher and Caecillius were the same but in two different places in time. Capaldi being the Doctor was added on later when Moffat and RTD had a chat over the phone.
1 year ago on Some Theories on Capaldi’s Familiar Face
@Creepy_Ghoul But also I'd like an explanation behind Raymond Salamader and the Abbot of Amboise too!
@Amy the Consulting Commentator @Yaroslav Yuri Erohin I don't believe that it's because HE can't, I just think it's because a TimeLord can't when they're are dying, as Romana chose to regenerate where as the Doctor never choses to.
@Yaroslav Yuri Erohin I think Romana could chose her face because she chose to regenerate, I don't believe that a timelord can chose when they're about to die, hence the choices the time lords gave the 2nd Doctor. That wasn't death, it was just a forced regeneration.
I have always through that timelords need a face from somewhere, I don't know why they'd need to, but all of the evidence points to this:
1st Doctor - Abbot of Amboise
2nd Doctor - Raymond Salamander,
Romana II - Princess Astra of Atrios
6th Doctor - Commander Maxil - Though he'll have needed to take it from where else
12th Doctor - John Frobisher and Caecillius
The 4th Doctor - The Curator (?).
@The_Horrors_Crimson And it's so very nice to see you again... urm... Robert? Louis? Mark? No... I've got it.. Colin the Goldfish!

@Gustaff Personally, I believe in bringing back the old serialised style. 4 lots of 30 minutes is good. It means that a story isn't rushed and there's more content per story!
1 year ago on Best of Matt Smith: The Vampires of Venice
@WiblyWoblyTimyWimyMOFFAT @Doctor Capaldi I like him two, but I just don't know what benefit a return will do, but I can see bad happening in that, he's brought back unnessecarily and doesn't benefit the story at all and is just there because it's John Hurt or because he is popular when actually, he should return because the stroy benefited from his presence and I can see an unnecesary return butchering the amazing character that we got in the 50th. Though a spin off set during the time war on a big finish series would be good.
1 year ago on John Hurt on Doctor Who Return
@AztecsDaleksAndCavemen He wasn't exactly pressing for an answer, it was just something he wanted to ask for anyone who was interesting and it's not like her hurried him or repeated the question in multiple languages- he just asked a simple question once.
I'd like to see John Hurt as the Doctor again. His Doctor and preformance were very good, but it's very hard to tell at this stage. However, on the other hand. I think it may sort of cheapen his fantastic preformance. I don't know... I'm so indecisive! ARGH!
Oh and also, this is a bit off topic (but there's no where else to post is as I can't access Whoniverse discussion) but I wanted to raise your attention to a series of interesting youtube videos by a gaming channel, doing reviews of Doctor Who stories and I wanted to raise it to people's attentions. @Oliver J. "cool" Ruined is a strong word, more cheapened for me, but everyone to thei own, it's just an opinion and you're entitled to yours! But I do agree it didn't do angels any favours especially with the idea of a leader angel, but I don't think it RUINED them, just cheapened them.
7/10. Good, but had some flaws and we should NEVER have seen the angels moving!
@The Eleventh Doctor I was alive for the entire classic era, and I loved it. I have recently started rewatching every story in the run up to series 8, because alot of them I haven't seen in decades.
1 year ago on Series 8 Will Be Darker, More like Classic Who
I grew up with a Darker Classic Who so I'm hoping for a slight tone down and a return to the old ways, though a little touch of humour here and there wouldn't go a miss!
8/10 because it's a good story, good script, great acting, it has Churchill, however the Paradrigm Daleks were undrused and way too colourful!
