@ArtFromTheHeart It's not TOO spoilerish in my opinion.

@Trenzalore Ah. The Nightmare Man. An episode where it felt as if The Joker had infiltrated the Doctor Who universe. Brilliant acting from Julian Bleach. Can't believe that he's the same actor who played Davros.

Perhaps the Doctor is faced once more with destroying the Daleks once and for all. If so, it would be nice having him say the line: "Do I have the right?" again.

I have a feeling that Clara is sort of thinking that the Doctor is like a tale for small children and that it's embarassing if you're with him when you're older and that that is why she is keeping it a secret. Do you understand what I'm talking about?

In Belgium it will be shown at 8:45 PM (altough my cinema tickets say 8:30) and it's also on BBC One, I think.

As a Belgian myself, I often walk around places where I think Doctor Who could easily be shot. Places like the MAS, the Antwerp zoo, Planckendael, Antwerp Central Station, the Atomium, perhaps a scene with the Mekanik Strip in the background (a shop selling various TV series (and comic book) related products, including Doctor Who)....Maybe the could even shoot in the studios of our famous TV channels like VTM or VRT.

@Antee991166 It could work for something as Comic Relief. Then again, it doesn't need to be Sherlock who teams up with the Doctor. It could also be Harry Potter or James Bond or another famous franchise.

@davidbrummy @Creepy_Ghoul @The Bish That's also an option. But something else I thought of, I don't know if it would work, but how about this: We know many people want to see old companions back, but the trouble is that many of them look to old to travel with their respective Doctor again. Perhaps following stunt could work: They cast lookalikes to play the young versions of the characters, but when they speak, it's the voice of the original actor coming out of their mouth. I'm pretty sure fans would love that.

@The Bish In case of who to cast for the Second Doctor, they could cast Frazer Hines. His faces looks right for the part and he has done an imitation of Troughton's voice many times for audio. And believe me, I heard it in a trailer and it sounded as if Troughton was still alive.

In my opinion David Tennant could also return in an episode as the Meta-Crisis Doctor. Then there are no paradoxes needed.

@KingOfTheInterWebs has Kidneys Did anyone notice that their was a shot in the trailer where it looked as if Clara was talking to one of soothsayers? Maybe Moffat is refering to that scene.

Yeah. That was awkward. I'm still confused about that. I understand that he was naked and the clothes were a projection, but did the parents (and the grandma) see the projection or didn't they?

2 weeks, 6 days ago on Coleman on Capaldi’s “Mad Curiosity”, Clara’s Home Life

Reply

@TardisBoy Yeah. Indeed. Plus, I might not have seen much of the Davison era, but from what I got, I understood that Adric died, (who couldn't know that) and then in another episode, Matthew Waterhouse returns playing some sort of illusion of Adric. Such things take away the loss of the character. It worked for Amy, though, because it made sense for her to be there.

@TheCyberDoctor is Undead @TardisBoy Also, her family doesn't have any idea about regeneration. Clara knows that Capaldi was once Matt Smith, but her parents don't and if they ever spot Clara with an older man, they mind start to think other things.

2 weeks, 6 days ago on Coleman on Capaldi’s “Mad Curiosity”, Clara’s Home Life

@TardisBoy And then there is the TARDIS itself, who doesn't quite like Clara. So I can imagine that SHE will try to mess with Clara by not sending her back at the right moment in time. (This is one of the reasons why I would want Suranne Jones to return so badly. Then we would have a proper girl fight between the two.)

@supermoff  @Malohkeh Absolutly. And taking the Doctor to New Zealand would be great. If you watch movies like "The Chronicles of Narnia", "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit", then you see how beautifull the whole place is. In fact, Warner Bros. should've shot the Harry Potter movies there. I'm pretty sure they would have been even more magical.

Sky in Doctor Who would be great, in fact, after the three episodes that featured Luke, I was a bit pissed that Rani and Clyde weren't given the same honor. Clyde was mentioned a few times, but didn't physically appear.

@11thdoctorsmurf @thribs1 I would include him briefly, at least in the way I see it. In the story I have in mind, an evil villain is interfering with the Doctor's life. Capaldi goes unconcious, but manages to banish the villain, however, the villain goes back in time, but can't go further than the first meeting between Rose and the Ninth Doctor. He goes to Rose's apartement and kills her off before she and the Ninth Doctor meet. This results in Rose disappearing from Bad Wolf Bay where she was with the Meta-crisis Doctor. The meta-crisis Doctor discovers that something is not right and leaves the parallel world in order to find the real Doctor. Meanwhile, the villain also succeeds to change Amy Pond's behaviour which worries Eleven and Rory. Than both Meta-crisis and Eleven end up in Capaldi's timeline and hear what happened. They travel back in time and try to stop the villain from killing Rose, before the Autons attack Nine. At one point Eleven runs off to make a call, which seems not important to the rest of the story, however it is. Eleven calls Eight, who is in his TARDIS with Charley, and tells him to contact his previous selfs and make sure the lock their timeline, so that the evil villain can't interfere there. Eight says he will make sure it happens. Then of course, the only character left is the War Doctor, but Capaldi doesn't worry about it, as the Time War is locked away in a pocket universe. Now, combine all this with a few scenes where Clara is talking to Eleven, who does not recognize her, due to the fact that he's not yet travelling with her, which makes it emotionally difficult for Clara. NOW HOW'S THAT FOR A STORY?

I actually have been making up bit of a story in my head of what the 50th could be. And that episode would also feature a small cameo from Paul McGann, just to explain why the classic Doctors don't show up. And obviously India Fisher should be with him during this cameo.
