Then doesn't that make John Hurt the Twelfth Doctor, and Capaldi Thirteen? I prefer the numbering that is already used, which you use as well, thank you.

1 week, 5 days ago on Will There Be a 10th Anniversary Special for the Revival?

Reply

@Doctor Who-The Master Ouch...That kinda hurt...

Age doesn't matter. The Doctor is a fine example.

Episode Count doesn't matter. Quality over quantity.

Episode Quality does matter, and Star Trek is fantastic! The original episodes somewhat reflect Classic Who at times, and also television programs of it's time. Coming from a Time of Hitchcock, Bachelor Father, GIlligan's Island, Jack Benny and more, it's pretty fantastic!

Technological advantage...um...what?

Iconicness in culture: Yeah, most people think Star Trek when hearing of Sci-Fi.

Country of Origin: Ouch...I'm American, and that's just rude. Sounds like those whiny people who claim Doctor Who is becoming too Americanized. Look at Marvel and DC, and see how great those are. Firefly, perhaps?

Original Run Length DOESN'T MATTER.

And I do think Star Trek has a bigger fan base.

All being said, I respectfully disagree.

@Ollie Walton Harrod @The Eyes of the Doctor More than a few. A few sounds like four, or seven, or something. Rory only ACTUALLY died twice, though.  I know that RTD had a lot of deaths on screen, but so does Moffat. You miss my point. I actually have one. I'm going to say this once more. "Everybody knows that everybody dies and nobody knows it like the Doctor. But I do think that all the skies of all the worlds might just turn dark if he ever for one moment, accepts it. Everybody knows that everybody dies. But not every day. Not today. Some days are special. Some days are so, so blessed. Some days, nobody dies at all."

@Ollie Walton Harrod And Bracewell thought he was alive, and felt as though he were human. That's what made his death more tragic.

@Ollie Walton Harrod No, you aren't right. Villains don't deserve to die, and not everyone must die on screen. I also said there were more. And, The Library 2-parter was part of the Moffat Era storyline. There are way more deaths, and you don't recognize them. Go to TARDIS wiki if you aren't capable of paying attention on your own.

The Curse of the Black Spot was NOT a horrible episode.

I don't see why people hate it.

It was fun, sweet, and sad.

It was an original story, and if you think otherwise, look at most of the First Doctor era.

Please, just stop hating on Curse.

Everything I find most amazing about the show is from

2010-2013.That's not to say the classics up to RTD weren't good, but I was introduced to Matt first, and its my favorite part of the show, I still love all the others. :) (not as much though. :P)

I would've chose a Smith scene, but congrats on winning anyway, Doctor Who!

(And I REALLY don't like BTTF that much, so I cringed there, but then again, I haven't seen it. So... ;P)
