This next episode has sort of a split feeling for me. It is the last episode that had its script leaked. After it airs, I will be as much in the dark as everyone else is about what happens next, so I will no longer be keeping secrets. However, at the same time, I don't know what happens next, and not knowing is driving me nuts!

I'm American and I'm having no problems understanding him. Well, there's a line every now and then, but that also occurred during Matt Smith's era. It's usually a line said too fast for me to immediately comprehend, but replaying that line a few times usually sorts me out.
2 weeks, 3 days ago on Is Capaldi’s Accent Causing Issues?
Argh, the curse of spoilers rears its head. I know what is going to happen, as I read the leaked scripts, but I can't say anything. I have to preserve the spoilers for those who want to be surprised. So, I won't say anything about the episode, not even a hint. After all, you'll be getting teasers for it on the day it airs.

An entire adventure with a dying Doctor? That's something we don't get to see, often!

@BoneyardBetty @Xaven She heard Ten's voice in the timestream? I'm afraid I don't recall any other voices except the Eleventh and War Doctors. Unless, you're talking about before the Great Intelligence entered the timestream.
She stole the position of Gatekeeper? Do you really believe that any version of Clara could be capable of such an act? I have a hard time believing an echo of Clara could become deranged, especially since the Oswin echo was able to overcome Dalek programming, and you can't get more deranged that the mindset of a Dalek.
1 month ago on Introducing Missy the “Gatekeeper”: Who is She?
@AnthonyJFuchs Question. When a Time Lord dies, what form do they assume in the afterlife? Assuming that it's the form in which they died, then the Corsair would've been a male, as Auntie described the Corsair as a "strapping bloke".
However, if the form can be decided on, then I have a different question. When was it ever established that the Doctor and the Corsair were ever romantically involved? They were obviously friends, but there's no concrete evidence that it went beyond that.
@BoneyardBetty The only Doctors that passed by her in the timestream were One, Six, Five, Nine, and Four. Ten was not among them. Otherwise, I concede that the rest of your explanation makes sense. However, it fails to explain one thing. How and why could one of those echoes end up becoming the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere? Presumably, when they died, they were welcomed by someone else, who is the Gatekeeper. What happened to that person, and why would an echo of someone be chosen as the replacement?
@BoneyardBetty @Xaven Quotes from the Day of the Doctor.
"So, they're both you, then, yeah?"
"Yes. You've met them before. Don't you remember?"
While the original Clara was the one to meet the War Doctor, it was some of Clara's echoes who would've met the Tenth Doctor. For her to have those memories, she would've had to have gained them from her echoes.
As for how I know the echoes died. Here's a quote from The Name of the Doctor.
"Sometimes it feels like I've lived a thousand lives in a thousand places. I'm born. I live. I die."
And an earlier quote from River. "A million versions of you, living and dying all over time and space."
Plus, when you think of how the whole entering the timestream works, it is stated that she would be torn into a million pieces. For the original Clara to still exist, logically, those pieces would've had to come back together.
@MatthewHutchinson If it was his wife from Gallifrey, she'd be calling him her husband, not her boyfriend.
@kiwikoala The character is House, and he was killed by the TARDIS.
@TimeWar @Xaven @SadlyNotTheDoctor Okay, that removes questions one, two, and five. Questions three and four are still valid.
Let's look at the different theories.
Woman in the shop: I agree on how likely it is. Chances are she is that woman. The question now is who is she, and why does she want the Doctor and Clara traveling together?
The Master: Why would the Master refer to his own arch-enemy as his boyfriend? There is no romantic attraction between the Doctor and the Master.
The Rani: Again, no romantic attraction between the Doctor and the Rani. The Rani doesn't care about anyone, and views the Doctor as nothing more than a nuisance.
River Song: We've seen all her incarnations and she has no regenerations left. Plus, why would she call the Doctor her boyfriend and not her husband?
Tasha Lem: She's not a Time Lady, nor is there any proof of her being conceived in the Time Vortex. Therefore, she can't regenerate. Plus, there's no proof that she thought of the Doctor as her boyfriend.
Clara: Unlikely. Why would there be any echoes left? After they died, they rejoined into the original Clara. She can somewhat remember all those other lives.
Rose: One: How would Rose change her appearance? Two: Why would she do so? Three: How did she get back to our universe? Four: Why would she abandon the Meta-Crisis Doctor? Five: How could she have become the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere?
The Valeyard: The Valeyard HATES the Doctor and everything he stands for. He wants to rid himself of the Doctor, so that he would be free to do what he wants.
@SadlyNotTheDoctor One: How would Rose change her appearance? Two: Why would she do so? Three: How did she get back to our universe? Four: Why would she abandon the Meta-Crisis Doctor? Five: How could she have become the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere?
@LeeBeing He's over 2000 years old, because of the Siege of Trenzalore.
@AnthonyJFuchs The Corsair was killed. His body parts were used to mend Uncle and Auntie.
@AnthonyJFuchs @Xaven @andrediogo12 Why would she? And why would she call the Doctor her boyfriend, and not her husband? They were married after all.
@Thewarrioroftime Wait, what are you talking about? We know NOTHING about the Doctor's first wife. There is no solid evidence that the Doctor abused her, no solid evidence that she went mad, nor any solid evidence that she's even alive. (Gallifrey being saved isn't solid evidence, as we don't know who was alive during the Last Day of the Time War, and who was dead.)
Plus, can you really believe that the Doctor would abuse his own wife? The Doctor is capable of many things, but I doubt he would ever do that.
@BenIsacremeeggRhodes Well, the Seventh Doctor encountered Death in the audio adventure, Master, so the possibility is there.
@andrediogo12 Not possible because River has no regenerations.
@ Notsosmartguy the dalek of Jersey @Xaven Peter would be Darth Vader and Jenna would be Mara Jade. And now I'm imagining Moffat laughing like Palpatine.

Happy Birthday to an awesome duo! Also, a moment of silence for Anthony Ainley, an awesome Master.
By the way, I just realized something that made me groan and facepalm. As we know, Ainley originally played Nyssa's father, Tremas. Notice anything about his name?

We have an update on the previous story. The Master will be played by John Simm once more, before he undergoes a regeneration, in which Benedict Cumberbatch will become the new Master. As for Omega, he will be played by Peter Davison, the man known as the Fifth Doctor. Their plan is to capture the Doctor, so they can have a threesome...

When I say that I like all the Doctors, and that all of them are my favorite, that includes the Sixth Doctor. One of my favorite lines from Doctor Who is one of his lines, from Trial of a Time Lord, when he learns of the actions of the High Council.
"In all my travelings throughout the universe, I have battled against evil, against power mad conspirators! I should have stayed here! The oldest civilization: decadent, degenerate, and rotten to the core! Power mad conspirators! Daleks! Sontarans! Cybermen! They're still in the nursery compared to us! Ten million years of absolute power! That's what it takes to be really corrupt!"

Sheesh, every thirty seconds, I think of another one. "You will be upgraded." = "You will be assimilated." Next thing we know, the Cybermen will be saying, "Resistance is futile."
2 months ago on New Who: The Story Thus Far – Series 7 (Part 2)
Okay, here's another one. Cybermites = Borg nanoprobes.
Let me add on two things. First, I meant to use the word became, not become. Second, let me add one more comparison. The Cyber-Planner is the equivalent of both the Borg Queen and Locutus of Borg.
The Cyber-Planner is the central intelligence of this hive mind, just like the Borg Queen. As for the Locutus element, we're dealing with the Doctor being converted, just like Picard was assimilated.
Let me put it bluntly. The Cybermen basically become the Borg. That's what disappointed me about Nightmare in Silver. They became a hive mind, with all individuality taken away. They can even upgrade in the same manner that the Borg adapt. The only real difference left between the Cybermen and the Borg, is that the Cybermen are robots with brains, while the Borg are cyborgs. Oh, and the Cybermen can move at very fast speeds when they want to, which was only once. Why didn't they do that at all in the rest of the episode?
I didn't have any problems with the Cyber-Planner. I have my own idea why he was the way he was. This is the first time the Cybermen have ever attempted to convert a Time Lord. This is uncharted territory for them. So, it's not surprising that the Cyber-Planner's personality could be affected by the Doctor's thoughts and emotions. The Cyber-Planner even admitted that he would have to completely rework the neural interface, which says to me he was aware of this, and was planning on fixing it after the conversion was complete.
(Applauds) Beautifully done! Excellent tribute!
