Screw Thanksgiving! I want it to be Christmas, now! Why isn't it Christmas, yet?
1 day, 13 hours ago on Last Christmas: Short Synopsis
For me, this is a bit complicated. I first heard of Doctor Who after Series 2, as I turned 16 on my birthday in October of 2006, and got my first computer. My sister was the one who found the New Series, but she also found the TV Movie. Now, I had seen the title, "Doctor Who", before, in an old science fiction catalog that my mother had. So, I knew Doctor Who was older than the New Series. Watching the opening narration of the movie confirmed this, and thus I stopped watching the movie and dug my way back to An Unearthly Child, thus technically making it the first episode I fully saw. This would technically make William Hartnell my first Doctor, right?

@The Genie @Kongosoha, investigating the Other How many cemeteries have you seen full of people in the daytime? For me, the answer is zero. Heck, I was an actor in a silent movie for my high school acting class, and we had to shoot some footage in a cemetery. We were the only ones there.

@SonicTheHedgehogRules @supermoff is waiting for heaven.... @Notsosmartguy Approves of female Master Don't remind me about Youtube. I had to put up with a annoying guy for months, before I found how to block him, because I and two others apparently called him a troll. I honestly don't recall calling him a troll. There is a whole story behind it, that actually is Doctor Who related, but I'm not going to go into it, as I'm sure that no one here really wants me to tell it.

@Ivegotkidneys spoiler everybody dies It was in Doctor Who Unbound: Exile. In that story, the Second Doctor escaped from the Time Lords by comitting suicide, and thus regenerating into a woman. To be fair, that story was more of a parody, that a legit alternate universe, unless you really believe the alternate Third Doctor would be an alcoholic, or that the Time Lords would be less professional than usual, or that said Time Lords would use foul language from Earth.

@Oodkind has been upgraded. @TardisBoy is in Heaven Actually, we don't know what the status of his regenerations was, in The End of Time. It was never established that he couldn't regenerate.

@Malohkeh I doubt there will be, as the whole drums thing was resolved in The End of Time.
@Polyphase She's channeling Eleven and Ten. You can't see that she's wearing Ten's shoes in these pictures.
@johnI360 @Amy is uniting the Earth Kingdom! Okay, I have to point out something. That origin story was told to us by the Valeyard, and half of it was later proven to be false, as it was a setup by the Valeyard to assassinate the Doctor and the Inquisitor. The supposed scrolls were a bomb, the "Thirteenth Doctor" was the Valeyard in disguise, etc. Plus, we know that the Doctor never experimented to break past the regeneration limit, and was going to embrace death, with a final victory of keeping Clara safe, and would've died had the Time Lords not interfered and given him a new cycle. The point is that nothing in that origin story has been proven to be true. As such, the Valeyard's origins remain a mystery.

@foolmentaljoker There's also Possibility C: A production error.
@Antee991166 @MeThree What are you talking about? There is no regeneration split involved with the Valeyard. The Valeyard is an amalgamation of the Doctor's darker sides, from somewhere between the Doctor's twelfth and final incarnation.
An amalgamation is the result of combining or merging multiple entities. So, basically, the Valeyard is a merge of the dark side of multiple incarnations of the Doctor, all from somewhere between his twelfth and final incarnation.
As for how that occurred, well, no one knows. Nothing has been absolutely confirmed to be fact, involving the Valeyard. Heck, the supposed origin story he gave in Trial of the Valeyard has already been partially proven to be false, while the validity of the remaining details is left a mystery.

@ValonSC @Xaven I didn't say that a female Doctor was necessary for the sake of having one. I'm just saying that now there is nothing in the way of it ever happening.

@Island Cyberman @Mermeht We know they were best friends, childhood friends even. We don't know much more than that.
Well, with there now being a female Master, there are no more excuses to deny a female Doctor, in the future.
@VincentLalyman Hopefully not, considering it will be an hour long.
@Amy Pond is a member of M.I.S.S.Y! No Cyberships survived in Nightmare in Silver. In fact, there were no Cyberships at all in that episode. The thing that you saw survive was a Cybermite.

Day 5: Hello, I am a clone of Xaven, filling in for the real Xaven, as he had to be put in a strait jacket and a padded room. His condition has gotten worse. He thinks he is traveling in the TARDIS with the Doctor and Clara. Hopefully, he will be fully back to normal once Series 8 is finished. I'm not putting any bets on him being back to normal after Dark Water. Knowing the Moff, the cliffhanger will be a whopper.
@Andrew_Swallow When did Tasha Lem claim that the Doctor was her boyfriend? Sure, they flirted with each other, but no such statement about the Doctor was ever made by her. At least, not that I can recall.

@The Living Angel is Regenerating @TardisBoy That was only because of an amnesia drug she injected into him, coupled with the fact that he had recently regenerated.
@supermoff needs answers! NOW! @TardisBoy They actually do have trailers. While most occur before the credits, the two-parters occur after.
@TardisBoy We'll find out next week.
@TardisBoy And this is only the trailer for Part One.
@Antee991166 Well, Tegan was possessed by the Mara, but that doesn't really count as turning bad.
@WilliamsC You're right, the Twelfth Doctor never said it. However, the Eleventh Doctor did, in The Name of the Doctor, just before the War Doctor appears.

This next episode has sort of a split feeling for me. It is the last episode that had its script leaked. After it airs, I will be as much in the dark as everyone else is about what happens next, so I will no longer be keeping secrets. However, at the same time, I don't know what happens next, and not knowing is driving me nuts!

I'm American and I'm having no problems understanding him. Well, there's a line every now and then, but that also occurred during Matt Smith's era. It's usually a line said too fast for me to immediately comprehend, but replaying that line a few times usually sorts me out.

Argh, the curse of spoilers rears its head. I know what is going to happen, as I read the leaked scripts, but I can't say anything. I have to preserve the spoilers for those who want to be surprised. So, I won't say anything about the episode, not even a hint. After all, you'll be getting teasers for it on the day it airs.

@BoneyardBetty @Xaven She heard Ten's voice in the timestream? I'm afraid I don't recall any other voices except the Eleventh and War Doctors. Unless, you're talking about before the Great Intelligence entered the timestream.
She stole the position of Gatekeeper? Do you really believe that any version of Clara could be capable of such an act? I have a hard time believing an echo of Clara could become deranged, especially since the Oswin echo was able to overcome Dalek programming, and you can't get more deranged that the mindset of a Dalek.
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Introducing Missy the “Gatekeeper”: Who is She?
@AnthonyJFuchs Question. When a Time Lord dies, what form do they assume in the afterlife? Assuming that it's the form in which they died, then the Corsair would've been a male, as Auntie described the Corsair as a "strapping bloke".
However, if the form can be decided on, then I have a different question. When was it ever established that the Doctor and the Corsair were ever romantically involved? They were obviously friends, but there's no concrete evidence that it went beyond that.
3 months ago on Introducing Missy the “Gatekeeper”: Who is She?
@BoneyardBetty The only Doctors that passed by her in the timestream were One, Six, Five, Nine, and Four. Ten was not among them. Otherwise, I concede that the rest of your explanation makes sense. However, it fails to explain one thing. How and why could one of those echoes end up becoming the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere? Presumably, when they died, they were welcomed by someone else, who is the Gatekeeper. What happened to that person, and why would an echo of someone be chosen as the replacement?
@BoneyardBetty @Xaven Quotes from the Day of the Doctor.
"So, they're both you, then, yeah?"
"Yes. You've met them before. Don't you remember?"
While the original Clara was the one to meet the War Doctor, it was some of Clara's echoes who would've met the Tenth Doctor. For her to have those memories, she would've had to have gained them from her echoes.
As for how I know the echoes died. Here's a quote from The Name of the Doctor.
"Sometimes it feels like I've lived a thousand lives in a thousand places. I'm born. I live. I die."
And an earlier quote from River. "A million versions of you, living and dying all over time and space."
Plus, when you think of how the whole entering the timestream works, it is stated that she would be torn into a million pieces. For the original Clara to still exist, logically, those pieces would've had to come back together.
