@LaraHarris @91 Queen of Evil @Sontaran17 I was editing. As I said im not getting into it with you. Your are incapable of hearing anything that you don't agree with. If you think its ok and your right to talk to people like s***, you go ahead.

@LaraHarris @91 Queen of Evil @Sontaran17
See there you go again. "I'm being attacked" is your usual defence after you have just offended and provoked someone. I for one will not be dragged into one of your ridiculous tirades. I guess it comes down to this, do you care that you offend people? Well you have quite clearly stated that you "don't care" if you offend people....good luck with that.
Instead of asking me to explain myself, why don't you explain why you are constantly arguing with people here?
1 hour, 15 minutes ago on Little Boxes Will Make You Angry: Doctor Who and Transphobia
I had a discussion with my grandmother the other day, when she refered to a black woman as "coloured" she went on to say, its not offensive, we used to call them that a lot when I was a kid and they didn't mind. So I had to explain to an 80yr old woman why, it is not her place to say what is and what isn't offensive to the black community. Of course that word is not going to offend a white person because it has not been used in a racially derogatory way toward white people. This to me is the exact same thing. Sure we don't have to agree with the authors points and that is completely fine, but we should be respectful and mindful not to shut the ideas down as ridiculous notions. Unless you are a member of a community that suffers oppression and hostility, then sure you can have an opinion, but it would be a uninformed opinion at best

I commend you on your article, whilst I might not agree with the specific points made, (based off of my own personal sensitivities, or lack there of) I whole heartedly support your right to be offended if that is how you felt.
Again this comes down to people that don't have the first clue as to what it is like to be transgender, attempting to telling people that are transgender that they don't have the right to feel offended.
You 100% have my support, and I wish you well in the future :)

@LaraHarris @91 Queen of Evil @Sontaran17 I have already told you where you have been offensive. Try speaking to people with a bit more respect and then you might receive the same.
And I am not about to be dragged into it with you......again!. You always have to have the last word, There is a reason you always end up in these arguments.
I was trying to give you some friendly advice, but I see it falls on deaf ears.

@LaraHarris @Sontaran17 @Sontaran17 Lara. I have just gone through this thread, and I have to say, you probably wouldn't get so much backlash if you made your points a little less matter of fact. Your always getting into arguments with people here. Your not always right so maybe if you were a little more humble sometimes people wouldn't react as they do to your comments. Ok so you don't agree with the article, fair enough, but why write 20 odd comments repeating your views that come across as ignorant and condescending? You have every right to say that you disagree, but these comments feel as though you are on the attack.
Unless you, yourself are Transgender, your view is pretty much redundant. It is for Transgendered people to say if it is offensive or not, not someone outside of that group. Do I agree with the examples given, no I don't. however I am not transgender so I wouldn't be offended.
Another thing, you say im not trying to offened anyone, im just being direct, again fair enough, but the thing is you do offend people, so every now and again a sorry I didn't mean to offend would go a long way.
2 hours, 51 minutes ago on Little Boxes Will Make You Angry: Doctor Who and Transphobia
Nicely written article, and I applaud the author for their bravery, in tackling this subject and more importantly the bravery that they show by living their life on an every day basis.
However I personally don't see any transphobic content within the whoniverse. I think with all of the examples given, it really depends upon your sensibilities. Having said that I am not transgendered, so it is not my place, or anyone else's to tell someone within that demographic that they should, or should not be offended. As I said I am not Transgender, but I am a gay man, and I consider myself to be a feminist,or at least sympathetic the cause. Doctor who has been criticized many times for gay slurs and sexism, but again I do not see it in any examples given, so again I really think that it depends upon your own sensibilities.
Again to the author, I admire your bravery, and wish you every success and happiness with your transition.

Moffat all the way. Mathieson's episodes were some of the best episodes in s8, but I still feel that, Deep Breath,Listen, Dark Water-Death in Heaven and Last Christmas were the best episodes this series.

@BeyondThePolice That is very true, i hadn't even thought of that :)
To be honest, i really never thought that this would ever be published. Because i thought that people would find the idea silly.
@Mark McCullough Thank you for enjoying it :)
Question: When is the best time to watch Doctor Who?
Answer: Every waking minute. Hell, I even go to sleep with the classics playing in the background. It soothes me.

I was shocked all the way through this poll, that A Christmas Carol was doing so well. So I am absolutely amazed that it has won. For me its number 4 on my list, Below,
1 Last Christmas
2 The Snowmen
3 Time of The Doctor
And then all of the other Christmas specials, are much the same to me. Just OK, nothing really special.

@Ivegotkidneys @91 Queen of Evil yeah, I think that she must have had more to do with his death. Which would explain Orson Pink. Danny's was meant to live, but Missy rewrote time by orchestrating his death? Leading to the whole chain of events unfolding
3 weeks, 4 days ago on The Impossible Girl: An Impossible Theory
@Ivegotkidneys She paired them together, knowing that it would take someone that The Doctor considered above all others or someone of Clara's controlling personality, to make him go looking for "heaven" something that I don't believe he would have done for himself. He has lost so many people along the way, but he has never gone looking for them in the afterlife. If he hadnt willingly gone, Clara would have and did attempt to make him. That's my take on it anyway :-)
Whilst the sain part of me, begs please no, no more Clara mystery. The insanely evil part of me, says, oh ok, go on then just a little bit more....
Brilliant article, perfect way to end the end year :-) Happy New Year everyone x

Congratulations Sir John. A brilliant! Doctor. I only wish we could have had a bit more time with him as The Doctor. It still amazes me that we were lucky enough to have him in the 50th, and that he immediately was recognizable as The Doctor.
3 weeks, 6 days ago on Sir War Doctor of TARDIS
@doctorblue You know those pesky Time Lords. Maybe they allow him to live, because he saved Gallifrey, but they force a regeneration because he trapped them in the first place. Also, who knows who will be Lord President, or what state they will be in when they do eventually find Gallifrey.
4 weeks ago on Patrick Troughton: The Beginning, End and In-Between
Great choices :-) Patrick had so much to prove, and by gosh did he prove himself. When you think of the responsibility that he had, when taking on the role of an established and already loved character, you have to admire him. I mean, just think, it all could have ended there. And that is in no small part, down to Patrick's performance.
I have always had a weird fascination, with the 2nd to 3rd regeneration. I love the idea that Time Lords, would as punishment, force a regeneration. It was the first time that I really became fascinated by the Time Lords themselves.
This forced regeneration idea, is something that I would like to see repeated in some way. Maybe when 12 finds Gallifrey.
@Notsosmartguy It wouldn't be a big deal in Britain. The crew of Red Dwarf met Jesus in the last series and noone batted an eyelid. Not saying I think it would be a good idea, at all, just that it wouldn't be an issue here :-)
4 weeks, 1 day ago on 2nd Opinion: Last Christmas
@TheDoctornator @91 Queen of Evil I know :-) just adding another idea :-)
4 weeks, 1 day ago on 7 Things I’d Like to See in Series 9
@TheDoctornator I would love!!! if there were to be a big celebration, which is unlikely. To do a De-generation story. The Doctor starts to degenerate back through 11, 10, 9, 8 before finding a cure. That way we could have an episode per Doctor.
@LaraHarris When it was revealed that he had killed a child, even though it was accidental, it just made me think that he was a bit of a hypocrite. But my biggest issue with him was the way he spoke to The Doctor, and the way that he was always trying to poison Clara's mind against him.
Am I the only one who disliked Danny? I would have said hate, but I think people use the word hate a little too free and easily. I just didn't like the way Danny spoke to The Doctor. I also didn't like how unadventurous he was. I didn't even like the way he was with Clara. All in all, if I never see him again, it will be too soon.
Wow, even I didn't realise how much I disliked him, until I started typing lol.
@OnlyAsOldWhovianAsYouFeelTheMirrorIsFurious It would be nice to have some sort of celebration. Not a full blown anniversary special, but maybe just a regular episode but with some familiar faces (but not Rose again for God sake) Maybe a multi Doctor story, but instead of having Matt, David or Chris instead, maybe this could be the perfect opportunity to use Paul.
@Tardis Boy Oh yeah I agree, not too soon. Ideally I would like it to return maybe at the end of Capaldis run. Infact, I would love it if the next regeneration story involved the return of Gallifrey. Maybe they force a regeneration on him, like they did with the second Doctor.
It makes me laugh and slightly mad when people come out with, no don't bring Gallifrey back, it would ruin the show etc. It managed perfectly well in the classic series. The key being that Gallifrey and Time Lord episodes were few and far between. Some of my favourite classic episodes involve The Time Lords and Gallifrey.
Another Companion: Shona please.
More Missy: Yes Yes Yes!
Same tone: Yes but please keep the comedy element.
More Classic Monster: Davros, Sil and The sea Devils please.
Recurring Characters: The Paternoster gang, and why not revisit some classic companions.
Gallifrey: I cant tell you how badly I want this to happen. It is time that new fans got a story involving The Time Lords on Gallifrey (non Time War related)
More McGann: I would love to see McGann given another chance to shine, as he did in Night.
I agree 100% with every choice on this list, It is like you mind probed me.
Aww, I was hoping that it would come down to The Snowmen, and Last Christmas, oh well. From these 2, I have to go with, Time.
