@BeyondThePolice @The Living Angel / is Regenerating . From how it was reported, I was expecting to be outraged that The Doctor had been so "unDoctorly" but I didn't feel that at all. 12 is fiercer and much more stubborn and cutting than 10 and 11 were, and that's fine with me, I want each incarnation to be different to his predecessor.

Great episode, 9/10
I don't think that The Doctor was too harsh with Danny at all, it was nicely explained that The Doctor was just being protective of Clara.
I'm not so sure that Missy was too busy to deal with the police officer, she seemed to look disapproving of him, whereas she seemed to be quite pleasant to the half faced man and the girl that sacrificed herself. So maybe he doesn't qualify for her attention as he never actually met The Doctor? Maybe she is only interested in people that have had contact with him.

@Oodkind @sontaran17 @The Living Angel / is Regenerating
You have completely lost me there.
There are only 2 episodes that I would possibly rate a 4/10 as below average, but other than that generally I wouldn't rate below a 5 because I personally don't think that any other episodes are below average or poor. For me,it just gets better and better.

I voted Journey but as soon as I voted I wish I had gone with Time Heist. I had forgotten how disappointed I was with Journey, which promised so much but delivered so little. The one thing that I loved about Journey was the Tardis Eggs (that's what im calling them) I thought that was going to lead into something interesting in the future but so far nothing :(
Time Heist 9/10
Journey To The Centre Of The TARDIS 7/10
The Curse Of The Black Spot 5/10
I would never rate an episode lower than a 5, because I don't feel that any episode is that bad.

@supermoff is your new lodger- I mean, caretaker. @The Living Angel / is Regenerating ahhh ok, I missed that :-) Although nothing would surprise me with the sonic these days.

@ Notsosmartguy The new Caretaker. @The Living Angel / is Regenerating Could be, I'm hoping its a sonic watch though, its about time Capaldi got his own sonic :-)
Is that a sonic watch???
If you go onto any other fandom forums, there are always people worrying about the viewing figures. I understand why but really we have nothing to worry about. Every shows live ratings are down and will continue to decline, because we are fortunate enough to live in the modern world where we don't need to watch every episode when it airs on TV.
Don't worry, Doctor Who will be around for a long while yet.

Completely off topic, sorry! but there is a crime drama on now, starring,Reece Shearsmith playing a strange kind of Sherlock type detective character,Alex Kingston, his sort of no nonesence assistant, and Noel Clarke and they were just in a scene together, which automatically made me think of River and Mikey meeting the second Doctor. Sorry but I find that stuff cool :-) Another thing that gave me a whovian happy was, in the show, The Strain, David Bradley is playing a sickly, old vampire slayer, and he keeps referring "The Master".

Listen all the way. I always thought that Blink was just an OK episode, nothing to write home about.

@Clara Laurinda @The Living Angel / is Regenerating I never thought of that. A little theory that's banging around in my head is, I believe that there is more to Clara's story and maybe The Doctor knows this, so he keeps putting her in dangerous situations to sort of out her/test her, to see what she is capable of or who she really is.

@12th's Sonic (I'm Planning a Time Heist!) That would be horrific! Horrifically brilliant!
Ok so now my excitement is slowly turning to fear.
"When Clara turns to the Doctor for help, she gets the shock of her life." after he seemingly abandoned her in deep breath, what more could he do to shock her? this worries me a little.
@Lucie Bleedin Miller Can you be a bit clearer, im not sure if you think s8 is great or not. lol
@ Notsosmartguy: Time Thievious Racoonus @Master Michael Moon @supermoff is playing Grand Theft Karabraxos...
I love Rings, its one of my all time favourites. I thought the singing was beautiful, 11s speech was, for me, one of the best speeches in the 50 year history. There was also a second speech that people forget about because of how amazing the speech to the old god was, but that second speech to Merry Galel is also one of my all time favourites...."Hey, do you mind if I tell you a story? One you might not have heard. All the elements in your body were forged many, many millions of years ago in the heart of a far away star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. After so, so many millions of years these elements came together to form new stars and new planets. And on and on it went. The elements came together and burst apart forming shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. Until, eventually, they came together to make you. You are unique in the universe. There is only one Merry Galel and there will never be another. Getting rid of that existence isn't a sacrifice, it is a waste!"
Also I loved Hide and I loved the twist, I love that something can appear monsterous and strange but actually not turn out to be evil, and vice versa, I like the idea of something looking sweet and innocent only to find out that they are infact evil and twisted.
Im scared about this episode, but the excited type of scared, plus spiders! argggggghhhhhh!
I believe that there was, and I would be very excited at the prospect of finding out more about them in the future.

@The Lazy Cat Is Baffled By Clara Oswald @The Living Angel I look forward to reading it :-) I definitely feel that there is something huge being set up here. To have Clara be so important to The Doctors life not once but twice must mean something. She is definitely a unique person in The Doctors life. To my knowledge, no other companion has ever met The Doctor pre an unearthly child.
(Insert backlash from angry audio adventure fans lol)
Edit: have Clara be so important to The Doctors life over and over again.
Edit: I am not insinuating that all audio adventure fans are angry lol

@Ava Averson I felt as though she didn't need to, like he understood without her having to say it. I think that he was so preoccupied by thinking about the dream that once she had comforted him as a child the burning need to find out about the dream dissapered, therefore he worked out where Clara had been. That's how i took it anyway :-)
2 weeks, 3 days ago on Rate & Discuss Listen
One of my all time favorites! 10/10
Brilliant episode! I love thinking about Time travel.
For example; I love that The Doctor had never pondered the dream before, because although Clara had put the idea in his head from childhood, she hadn't done it yet. So, was the reason that he was pondering the question in the first place, and never before, because, Clara was about to change his timeline and therefore the question came about by time being rewritten and rippling through time to catch up with the Doctor in the present, making it something that always happens, from The Doctors perspective. I hope this makes sense, because I have managed to confuse myself lol
@ Notsosmartguy @The Living Angel A classic Cyberhead, but with the blue insides that Handles had, that would be cool
3 weeks ago on Taking a ‘Journey’ Into the Future: The Next Companion
@supermoff is alone. Listen... @ Notsosmartguy @The Living Angel Who knew that a Cyberhead could have had such an emotional scene, when he died :'( for me, that was the emotional highlight of Time
@ Notsosmartguy @The Living Angel That is what I think, I would have loved Handles to have been imtergrated into the Tardis control panel, but maybe he could be moved around like the TV monitors. I loved Handles.
To be honest, the only thing that I liked about Journey, was her name.
I would really like a non human companion next, I would also like to see a robotic companion like handles or k9.
What if Clara was actually playing along and clever game, and all along she has been evil, but biding her time for some reason. Probably not, but it would make an interesting twist on the story.

@Scootersfood @twoheartsonemind I loved in the last episode when she asked Danny if he was going to the party, he said no, and she just snapped "change your mind!"
@BazHood @ Notsosmartguy @The Living Angel I don't think that she will be leaving, if that were true, then they would just say so. Instead we keep getting cryptic answers like, you will have to watch and see.
Which makes me think that maybe in the final episode of s8, something will happen where Clara does seem to die, but maybe she ends up in Missys heaven. And then throughout the xmas episode we all believe that Clara is dead, but then The Doctor finds a way to save her from heaven or something to that effect.
My lasting impression after several viewings, is that Clara really is starting to shine.
I have always liked her, right from the being of her story, and I have never felt the lack of character development that she is often criticized for. I really do feel, that in these last 3 episodes, she has shone brighter than ever before.
8th of April is my birthday, and I love the 3rd Doctor, so that gave me a happy :-)

@LeeBeing And a TRUE fan would not bash the show after just 2 episodes. A True fan would understand that Doctor Who is all about change. A True fan would embrace the change, and not be stuck in their own tiny view of what Doctor Who should be.

I think that it is a beautiful thing that Doctor Who is trying to get across, the fact that love is boundless.
1 month ago on Addressing the Deep Breath Kiss
Great article. What I find particularly weird but at the same time quite clever, is the fact that some people are bothered by their sexuality, but yet those same people dont seem to voice an opinion on the fact that they are different species.
I am still leaning towards, she is some version of The Doctor, she just screams Doctor to me.
1 month, 1 week ago on Introducing Missy the “Gatekeeper”: Who is She?
@TardisBoy or the Clara echo from Gallifrey maybe? Maybe that version was Timelord and therefore instead of dying she regenerated. As she shouldnt really exsist, maybe she regenerates, goes insane and all she can remember is The Doctor and that turns into an obsession. I don't know why, but I dont get the impression that she is genuinely evil, maybe she does evil things in some warped sense of insane morality, fueled by her Doctor obsession.
@YaelMoise @The Living Angel I know, but neither does insanity mean that they have to be a villain. I wasn't saying that she wasn't just that ATM we don't know for sure that she is.
@YaelMoise Maybe she's not a villain, maybe she's just gone mad.
Oh oh, thought! What ever happened to the Clara that was on Gallifrey and told the first Doctor which Tardis to steal? Maybe she was a Timelord, hence why she looks different.
Whoever she is, I love! Her :-)
I think that she is either some version of The Doctor, she acts, speaks and dresses how you would imagine the doctor would if he were female. Or, I think she could well be a Clara echo, as in the episode, The Doctor points out that he is not Clara's boyfriend, and then Missy refers to him as her boyfriend. The only thing with that is why would she look different to Clara? As far as we know, all the Clara echo's, looked like Clara.
@ShayHatchard1 I think that she is.
1 month, 1 week ago on Rate & Discuss Deep Breath
@JkarxLecter1865 @The Living Angel She has made me rethink my view point on the whole female Doctor thing. She is captivating to say the least.
@The Moment I think that she is some form of The Doctor. The way she acts ,talks and dresses, say The Doctor to me.
@SI87 valuable and insightful contribution there.
@How long can you hold your breath? The Doctor forgot how to fly The Tardis, so presumably, they were bouncing around all over time and space.
Something else that stuck out to me was when, The Doctor made a point of telling Clara that he was not her boyfriend, and then at the end Missy calling him, her boyfriend.
@supermoff @ Notsosmartguy the dalek of Jersey It won't apply from Clara perspective, but in some other time line Clara's family won't have seen her since Christmas.
After several rewatches, I still love it all, but my favorite part has to be:
"Hellooo, I'm Missy. You made it. I hope my boyfriend wasn't too mean to you. Now did he push you out of that thing, or did you fall? I couldn't really tell. He can be very mean sometimes, except to me of course, because he loves me so much. I do like his new accent though, think I might keep it"
Now I have always said that I would never except a female Doctor, but having seen Missy I could totally see her being The Doctor in some form.
