In the TARDIS
Now that Disqus has died from DoctorWhoTV, The Catterson has to regenerated again...
You have made a load of good points. There are a few other scenes I love about Nine but I think his confrontation with a Dalek is most chilling of all. The 'last two survivors'. And you could tell by the end how Nine was intending to kill it, showing he still had a bit of the Warrior from the Time War in him.

Happy Birthday to the Revived Doctor Who series. Ten years ago today, I was a fan and I haven't regretted my choice of giving the new series a chance because it has been one of the best experiences of my life. I was there when I saw my first regeneration to the powerful, scary Blink episode, then I grew into a fan even more when Matt came on the scene and I wept for his departure.
Doctor Who is the most amazing show on the planet. It has proven that bringing it back on TV was necessary as it has gained possibly more fans than the classics did and hopefully, this is just the start. Have a fantastic day Whovians everywhere!

@StephenAHayes I don't think so too because the age was just so messed up. The Seventh Doctor even said he was older than the Ninth and Tenth Doctors.
5 days, 3 hours ago on Wearing A Bit Thin: A Theory on Time Lord Ageing
I always imagined that 11 lasted longer because he was well past his sell by date. When the Timelords gave him his regenerations, he began to regenerate straight away. But then you have to think, the Doctor has spent half of his life in his 11th form, starting out at 900 years old, add the 200 in S6, then in S7 he must've aged 100 years as he says he is around 1200. Then by Trenzalore, he ages 900 years.
So I do like your thinking. I'd alter the theory by thinking that Timelords either age longer due to how their body ages with different incarnations differing or the more incarnations, the longer their maximum life cycle, which could explain why the 1st Doctor didn't last as long as 11.
@russell t dalek Opinions...

I can't say I am shocked that Billy Hanshaw's intro was number one and I am happy. He laid the foundation for fan projects to be used or noticed by Doctor Who. And it was a pretty amazing title. I like most of these titles as well, especially the Dark Eyes intro and the one by ManservantPablo. Our fandom are incredible guys

I'd like Shona to come back and I know the community have had enough of hearing about Shona, but this is an opinion, is it not? I did adore her character. So did many but I think the public have spoken.
2 weeks, 2 days ago on 5 Characters From Series 8 That Should Be In Series 9
I so so so so agree. I love Series 8 and Capaldi. Matt was The Doctor who I adored but Capaldi ensured that there was no admiration rempved from the show. We all have our opinions (Apart from Capaldi is too old to play the Doctor, now that is pushing buttons) and if they don't want any part of Doctor Who, yes it is a sad loss. However, WE are the ones who'll love Doctor Who forever. Take Doctor Who out of my life, I don't know how I would cope!!! A lovely article. Doctor Who can be for anyone if you believe hard enough!

@The Finn is excited for audio Kate Stewart! @Regenerated Catterson hails CTFxC To the Death is amazing. Almost made me cry. Not going to say why but seriously, it's one of the best audios there
2 weeks, 5 days ago on How Should Doctor Who Evolve?
@91 Queen of Evil @Regenerated Catterson hails CTFxC It counts though, because of Night of the Doctor. Since Lucie and Tamzin were both in the story, I guess To the Death is canon too.
@Notsosmartguy @Regenerated Catterson hails CTFxC It would work. Robot saying affirmative...Works like a charm 8-)
@Notsosmartguy I forgot about this. Yes, a new companion who is non-Earth is a MUST. I feel in-universe, the Doctor is being spiciest by mainly picking human beings. Which is funny considering a Cyberman head is his longest companion.
@91 Queen of Evil Susan did in the audios but the reason the Doctor won't see her again, I assume, is guilt. No more said after that.
Plus even if he did return off-screen, we don't know. Big Finish, five years from now, might produce something with Carol Ann Ford and Matt Smith..
@The Finn is excited for audio Kate Stewart! I'd only bring back The Monk if they are going to continue the hatred from To the Death. Eight was a gentle sweetheart but his aggression to The Monk at the end pictured ruthless aggression on him. Now if Twelve saw him again, lets just say the eyebrows would be off the scales...
I must be the odd snowflake that really wants the Skovox Blitzer to return.
A great article, a few points I can disagree with like continuity, I feel the same way as Supermoff. I'd be good for a monster-free episode. And I feel we should have 2 parters whenever it is needed not base it on a structure. Yes, it's great organization but I'd rather have greater stories too. The Angels Take Manhattan would seriously benefit from a Two Parter, as would Nightmare in Silver.
See, part of me loves the idea of two-parters for most stories because we have had a lot of example of singular episodes that should've had a second part attached to it. Time of The Doctor, Nightmare in Silver, Angels Take Manhattan, a lot of people feel these episodes and many more could've benefited with a second part to that story. Like Planet of the Deaf has said, I'd rather have a rushed singular episode than a mood killer two parter but I think that for stories that look big on paper, you should expand it possibly.
I also think two parters can expand as well as decrease creativity. There will be more opportunities for new stories but like said, you have to think what works for a two parter so it doesn't become boring for the fans. I mean, dare look at the Facebook page, even on good episodes, you'll hear the fans preach 'BORING'. So you have to ensure that the story is strong enough to deserve a two parter, which is, like said, what Time of the Doctor should've been. Then again, would it have worked without pulling a Tennant and expanding the episode into the New Year?

@Planet of the Deaf I always thought that. It was like in The Runaway Bride, when he saw a couple that reminded him of himself and Rose at New Earth, he was standing there watching like an ex-boyfriend in his late teens/20s.
1 month ago on The Eleventh Doctor: The Oldest of Them All
A great article. I love how Matt, being the youngest actor, finished his Doctor in script-wise, longer than anyone else. Moffat has even said for the youngest actor, he is incredibly older in his sense. And watching his performance as The Doctor, when he speaks in a dark tone, you can hear a bit of age in him and when his Doctor was focused, he looked more mature than what his age actually told him. It's one of the reasons why his Doctor is the best, because he is a young actor but managed to pull off a character thats lived for over 1000 years convincingly. I think a lot of Whovians should see this as a sign that age does not matter. The part you play does.
@Mark McCullough Including the fact he was going to take Amy when she was just a child. It could've been the youngest!
To be honest, DWTV's contributors host the best and kindest and funniest guys out of the entire Whovian community. Usually, I see people on forums sites or social media sites that are...well, vulgar might be the right word...But I am glad I am a contribution to this place. I was only going to join here or Gallifrey Base. To me, I think this is the most recommended Whovian sites in the world! Amazing article!

Amazing article. I'm not shocked that The TARDIS and the Doctor top the table, considering the emotional goodbye in The Doctor's Wife. Still gets me....For 51 years, The relationship has been The Doctor and the TARDIS, taking him where he needs to be.
Even though you stated Rose and Ten were not in this and even though the Doomsday ending was ruined by the events of Series 4 and more qualities to discuss, I still would've had them in the list because a lot of whovians see them as THE couple alongside a few others. I mean, he did love her. Even seeing his Metacrisis self snogging Rose kicked him in the Gallifreyans. Maybe 3rd on the list....

@Bow Ties Are Cool You won't regret listening to Big Finish stories. They are amazing. The Eighth Doctor Adventures are my favourite, which is why Paul is third on my list. I have a ton of new Audios to listen to!
@divya12 I wouldn't do anything with Big Finish until his time as The Doctor on TV ends. Unless he was cloned, the poor man might not be able to keep up.
@Baker Street The future looks fantastic!
@Runcible @ilyootha My thoughts exactly. My friend questioned why it means New Who and Big Finish's way of saying FIRST NEW WHO is an indicated way of saying, we have some rights if anything. Not sure about the New Who Auton's comment...They used New Who Daleks if I recall on Gallifrey's 6th Series covers I think it was. Correct me if I am wrong.
