@supermoff @Christoph1337 Which I have finished listening to as of last Monday :)

@Christoph1337 How? They sound a bit more terrifying than the classics. Evil is not dedicated by sound after all...

@WiLfreduk In fairness, they actually did last time out. But I'd rather them not say it every time. That was one advantage I had for Cybermen over Daleks, in Age of Steel, the Cybermen just snook up behind Mrs Moore and killed her without words. It shocked me just a bit.
6 hours, 59 minutes ago on 51 Years Later: 5 Ways to Make the Daleks Menacing Again
@supermoff I also think that they need to be victorious more. They need to prove, in a threatening story, that with victory, they are more dominant than presented.
7 hours, 13 minutes ago on 51 Years Later: 5 Ways to Make the Daleks Menacing Again
The Daleks really need a reboot for themselves. To be honest, they are starting to remind me of Dr Eggman and Sonic fans will know that why I made this comparison is because Dr Eggman is presented as in, Oh hey, its you again rather than a menacing foe, like Eggman (or Robotnik) was in one animated series.
I liked Into the Dalek a lot but they need to be amazing all the time and menacing. I have not felt that fear in the Daleks since Series 4, since 2008 and that is a bad sign. To be honest, I found the Cybermen more fearful than The Daleks were. The one thing I like about Victory of the Daleks is that the Daleks were not defeated. And in Day of the Doctor, that was one of my biggest disappointments of the episode, not enough Time War action, not enough Daleks. They were imperative to the 50th as much as The Doctor was and I felt we had more focus on the Zygons rather than the Daleks.
I want the Daleks to becoming menacing like they were in Series 1 and Series 4. Into the Dalek is probably the closest we've gotten to but I just have that strange sensation that the next Dalek story WON'T be as menacing as Into the Dalek.

Two great minds and creations, merged together. To be honest, I think all this hype started when Matt was around...
11 hours, 48 minutes ago on Gatiss: I don’t see why people are so obsessed with ‘Wholock’
I wish they stopped trying to paint Moffat out to be this evil being trying to manipulate. Moffat has a point. He knows the limit to scare kids but wants their appearance to be memorable. People used to hide behind the sofas every time the Daleks appeared. You have enemies like The Weeping Angels, who actually made my heart race the first time I saw them. Doctor Who should be about scaring the kids but also about fun too. Enemies aren't exactly going to be soft towards the Doctor...
Oh, and this is a family show, Daily Fail which strengthens the need for fear so that the older audience can become mesmerized into the show too with the heart-racing scenes. All the great enemies we've seen in the past 50 years, Cybermen, Daleks, Weeping Angels, they all have one thing in common. Fear...

@SWTV Unless Moffat bans me from all Who related content until 7.15pm, Christmas Day, that will be an impossibility xD
2 days, 14 hours ago on First Series 9 Title Revealed
@supermoff @Planet of the Deaf That was harsh xD
Well whereas I am not a fan of the name (because I have a hatred for Magicians), not only will I still watch it because it is Who, but I am curious with what this is all about.
@Antee991166 @Notsosmartguy The day Big Finish can use New Who content on a regular basis will be the day I scream like a girl. The possibilities are ENDLESS. a Series with Jenny trying to replicate her dad, like mentioned as well, the Paternoster Gang, a new U.N.I.T series with Kate and Osgood, River and 11's marriage adventures, Amy and Rory after their life with The Doctor, hell, even The War Doctor during the Time War. This HAS to happen ASAP!

Ooooh you've redecorated...I don't like it....All jokes aside, the regenerated site looks neat, though I prefer the older version but I guess I need time to adjust before debating.

@supermoff wants Clara in Series 9 for Christmas! Yes! The Doctor steals a TARDIS...Five star wanted level
@supermoff wants Clara in Series 9 for Christmas! @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas "Okay, maybe another time"....(Five minutes later...)
Grand Theft Who?
"Hey Doctor, you want to go bowling?"
@joe4 @Mark McCullough @Planet of the Deaf Two words. Mark McCullough

@Rani Nose Abzorbaloff is the 16th incarnation of The Doctor
@joe4 @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas @WelshWhovian @supermoff wants Clara in Series 9 for Christmas! Well everyone knows his incarnation has differences from the formers. Plus, Doctor Who is about change. You talk about it asif it is a problem that could hit 'overload'. Plus, you have to acknowledge, the writers behind Doctor Who are incredible. They are going to be different regardless gender. And yes, that last line was a bit uncalled for and challenging.
@Malohkeh @joe4 @Mark McCullough And this is what I am talking about...Give me a Dalek anyday
@WelshWhovian @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas @joe4 @supermoff wants Clara in Series 9 for Christmas! It isn't down to having another opinion, far from it. It's being elitist. "Oh I know everything better than you". I have experienced that game before mate and it's a selfish act to play. It's the way he is presenting it that is ludicrous.
@joe4 @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas @supermoff wants Clara in Series 9 for Christmas! Yep...Confirmed, this guy is not only a troll, but elitist as well...Have a jelly baby.
@Mark McCullough @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas @joe4 True, but you also have to think of the legacy of The Master as well. How important of a role he/she has been in Doctor Who. Now obviously that is stronger for The Doctor but I think people will cope if anything.
@SonicTheHedgehogRules @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas @joe4 No but looking at a lot of fan-sites, they were more amazed rather than grumpy
@joe4 @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas @supermoff wants Clara in Series 9 for Christmas! Not really. There are women who can act like men at times. Hell, my girlfriend acts more like a male than a female...Plus, I am not sure if you know this but The Doctor's personality changes through each incarnation...
@joe4 @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas How though? If people could tolerate The Master being female, what difference is The Doctor being a female going to create? The only reason the show will get called off is if the BBC are sexist
@joe4 @supermoff wants Clara in Series 9 for Christmas! The only way it wouldn't be the same character is if this female Doctor had a thing for Daleks exterminating everything...
@joe4 How will the show end because of a female Doctor? What is more controversial than hiring a female Doctor (which is not to me anyways but like I said, many will produce a riot over the choice) would be the BBC pulling the plug because of a female Doctor. Besides, it isn't going to end for quite a while, even if the next incarnation is female.
@joe4 @Malohkeh @supermoff wants Clara in Series 9 for Christmas! See thats the type of comments I hate...
@91 Queen of Evil @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas But the art on the cover does, which it does for this particular story.
@The_Eternal_Dalek @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas @The17thDoctor @Mark McCullough Because it depends if there are any differences in specific Time-Lords. It may have something to do with the problems of their incarnation's death...
@91 Queen of Evil @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas Rassilon in Big Finish was. In fact, if I recall, the same actor played The President of the UK in Rise of the Cybermen
@The17thDoctor @Mark McCullough He stated The Corsair could. Not he can...
@91 Queen of Evil @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas @Mark McCullough I guess so. Though I questioned it due to it being a regeneration. Though I see the point, the Sisterhood had an evolved method of regeneration.
@Mark McCullough Would you count Night of the Doctor?
@The Genie, Agent of JACKIE Male and I guess I am for it. I just fear a backlash amongst others.
@I couldn't keep calling myself... The Master! @MikeUK2011 @Browncoat of arms You'd kind of assume. I mean, did he have a one night stand?
@Planet of the Christmas Pudding Brains Maybe probability. Like why has most of The Doctor's had brown hair (Including the Young 1st and War Doctor)? Why has all of The Doctors been white? Maybe you're more likely to regenerate into the gender you were born from...
@Gustaff @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas I actually think those kind of jokes were made when Matt was cast. Not sure if that's my own head playing games with me but I know a lot of backlash was made when Matt was casted :P
@Gustaff Prepare the jokes of the Doctor after the 18 year old to be a toddler ;)
@S. Jek I don't mind a female Doctor but I worry over the backlash the many Whovians will give...
@Notsosmartguy Agent of C.H.R.I.S.T.M.A.S. different fanbases really...
@S. Jek Or so you think.....Timothy Dalton is all I'm saying ;)
The next question is, when will we have a black Doctor? I'd like to see that one time in the future...
@Gustaff @Regenerated Catterson celebrates Super Christmas Yeah. I was planning a listen to it. The problem is, not many people who are that big into Who will acknowledge Big Finish or maybe give it a try.
I am seriously not sure. I am sure whoever gets cast will be amazing but I feel that if a female is casted, it would result in a serious backlash (which is pathetic but understandable to some degree. Female James Bond?). If we got more of a Time-Lady spin-off now Gallifrey has returned to test the water even further, we could get a good enough outcome.
@Gustaff We'd be all flirting with our admin ;)
