Vincent and the Doctor: 7/10. It's a good story and gives us another historical character, but it's not one of my favourites.
The Lodger: 6/10. It's a bit of light comedy before the darker finale over the next 2 weeks, but it introduces Craig and Sophie, 2 brilliant characters.
The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang: 8/10. Overall, not a bad series finale, debuts the fez, rounds of the pandorica series arc and solves everything nicely, while leaving some ends untied and asking some new questions which are solved over the next few years.
A Christmas Carol: 4/10. This is where it goes downhill for me. It's a rubbish story IMHO, and it really does bore me. It only got a 4/10 from me because of Matt, Karen, Arthur, Michael Gambon & Katherine Jenkins' acting. Not a story I enjoy watching. Personally, I can't see why people love it so much.

Some pretty poor episodes here if I'm honest. Nothing above a 6/10 for me.

How on earth did ACC get this far? IMO it's the 2nd worst one they've done, with the 1st being TCI. And I thought last Christmas was a hell of a lot better than it.

@AlfieJohnHagan Yes, yes he was.

If the special doesn't begin filming until after the world tour does this mean that series 9 will be delayed until August again next year?

I totally agree with you here!!

@Seaborn W Deadman No, I thought the exact same thing when I heard it too.

Personally I think the best scene in doomsday is when they're pulling all the cyber,en and daleks through the void and rose loses her grip and pete catches her, and then the void closes.

a) why is john hurt ranked so low. even though he was only in 1 epiaode he still remains to be one of the best doctors in my eyes. and b) why has the rings of akhaten rated so low. good story. personally one of my favourites.

I have to disagree with episodes 9, 12,13 and both specials. I think Moffat worst special is a Christmas carol and RTD's worst is by farthe Christmas invasion.

Quote surprised about the hungry earth and the beast below. Despite my dislike for series 5 (my least favourite of matts tenure) these were two of the best along with Amy's choice and the lodger. Quite liked the vampires of Venice too actually. ;)

@BlueBoxBum Couldn't agree more!

I went with aliens of London, because series 1 is my second favourite series since the revival, biter series 7, and although I like the power of three, all the other episode 4s I never really liked.

@Doctor What and Where But if they were included it would only go up to 5 episodes. Not 13 like all the others.

It's a shame we won't ever see the empty child again. Scared the s*** out of me as a kid when I first watched its but if they were to be brought back they'd probably ruin them, like other monsters they brought back.

On first watch I'd probably give it a 5/10 much like hide, but after watching it a few more times since I now feel confident in giving it a 9/10. I think the story was very unique, which was something we needed to fill the gaps in the Clara mystery. The music was superb as always, almost sounding quite sherlock-esque at times. The editing was splendid (one of the main things I look at in a doctor who episode as I am very fond at editing FA) and I really loved the old sepia movie effect applied onto select clips in flashbacks. Overall I think mark gattis definitely redeemed himself after Cold War and I am looking forward to another of his episodes. One of the best episodes of series 7, next to name, hide, journey and rings IMO

Surely the only reason for the series to run into Christmas is if it started on 4th October. So it probably wont unless we dont get the series until late autumn

3/10 Considering it's a mark Gatiss episode, it was very poor.

First 10/10 I've given for a Matt Smith episode! Thought this was an amazing episode, with a lot of character development, some great and acting and as ever Smith,Gillan,Darvill and Kingston all at their finest!

@Master Michael Moon It was explained in the Time of the doctor how they knew the doctor then (extracted knowledge from Tasha Lem), but it was not explained how they knew him in the day of the doctor? Or was it?

2/10. Absolutely appalling episode!

Look further into the comments. Many people have. Including me. I gave it a 4/10
1 year ago on Best of Matt Smith: The Doctor’s Wife
I really don't see why people think this is one of the best episode. The plot was rushed, the characters were too underdeveloped and some of the writing was cringeworthy. 4/10.
6/10. Didn't feel it gave us anything new to work with. If it wasn't for Alex Matt and Karens acting then I would have voted 4/10. The crack was interesting but the weeping angels were ruined in this story. And to be honest, quite dull.

Personally, I'm the exact opposite. I felt that series 7 brought something different and exciting.
I'm warming to the actual comment system (besides the fact you can't edit) but this morning I woke up to 34 emails, all from livefyre about comments. It's very annoying.

I voted 7/10. All 3 so far have been a 7 for me.
