Well we all knew she was going to leave really it was just to obvious, I wonder what his plans for the new companion were.

Kill the Moon is a poor mans Waters of Mars but Mummy and Flatline are both classic Doctor Who.
Kill the Moon – 6/10
Mummy on the Orient Express – 10/10
Flatline – 9/10

As long as it's not the sort of slapstick humour of Robot of Sherwood then I'm fine with this.
1 day, 19 hours ago on DWM #484: What Next for the 12th Doctor?
Listen is a fantastic episode if a bit overrated by the fandom. Time Heist is boring, The Caretake is pretty good but the whole "I hate soldiers" storyline is rubbish and doesn't make any sense.
Listen – 9/10
Time Heist – 5/10
The Caretaker – 7/10

Deep Breath is a
good start to the Capaldi era (although it’s not a patch on The Eleventh Hour)
Into the Dalek is a poor mans Dalek and Robot of Sherwood is fun but stupid.
Deep Breath – 7/10
Into the Dalek – 6/10
Robot of Sherwood – 6/10

Name has got to be the most overrated episode ever. Day is amazing but Time is a dissopointing end to the Matt Smith era. We lost a brilliant talent, a unique take on the Doctor, and something interesting to watch every week. He's my favourite, and I miss him.
The Name of the Doctor – 6/10
The Day of the Doctor – 10/10
The Time of the Doctor – 6/10

I hope not Gallifrey is boring

@Malohkeh will sell soul for Big Finish CDs Some of Angie's greatest hits, and remember, she and Artie blackmailed Clara just so they could be here: "Your stupid box can't even get us to the right place!" "How long do we have to stay here?" "I hate the future! It's stupid! There's not even phone service!" "I'm bored!" "Put me down! I hate you!" "You always have to turn up and spoil everything!" "Why can't you just leave me alone?"
I doubt anyone will argue that children this horribly ungrateful exist, but why would we want to watch one travelling through time and space?

I get really fed up with this constant Doctor division, yes we all have our favourites but we have never had a bad Doctor not even a below par one and doubt we ever will.

The Power of Three is the pick of the bunch hear, a criminally underrated story. The Angles Take Manhattan is a good but seriously flawed send-off for the Pond's and The Snowmen is pretty meh.

The Snowmen – 6/10

Moffat did say that the series opener (or at least some of it) was set on another planet.
I never used to
care for Series 7A but it's grown on me over the year's, even If I do
think the Pond’s (despite how much I love them) outstayed their welcome.

Dinosaurs on a Spaceship – 4/10
A Town Called Mercy – 7/10

The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe – 5/10

My biggest problem with Let's Kill Hitler is Amy and Rory. They don’t seem that all fussed about the abduction of their newborn baby,r about Mels becoming a psycho killer, or about the Doctor counting down to their prime dating years***. Maybe it’s because they missed the entire pregnancy, so haven’t really got it into their heads that they even have a child. Oh well. Fascinating drama it isn't.)
Sorry, it doesn't work like that. Not only were the three of them growing
up together, and thus not raising anybody, but Amy and Rory never knew
who Mels was, and apparently had no effect on her as a person. This is not an okay way to resolve the story. It's cheaty,
fingers-crossed, change-the-rules swindling.

Series 6 really is
the definition of a mixed bag.
The Rebel Flesh – 5/10
The Almost People – 6/10

Night Terrors – 5/10
Well I bet none of these questions will be answered.
1 week, 6 days ago on Master Plan? The Mysteries of Missy
If there’s one
thing I can’t call Series 6 it’s repetitive, the variety of locations the TARDIS
crew visit this season is unmatched since the show returned, we were no longer
so confined to earth and every story was different. The directing and
cinematography is also better then it’s ever been and the show has never looked

The Impossible Astronaut is great but Day of the Moon leaves to many questions unanswered. The Curse of the Black Spot is a pile of crap but The Doctor's Wife is amazing. Overall an uneven start to Series 6.
The Impossible Astronaut – 9/10
Day of the Moon – 6/10
The Curse of the Black Spot – 3/10
The Doctor’s Wife – 10/10
Seriously, why can’t we get seasons like this any more?
Vincent and the Doctor – 10/10 (Easily the best historical story of the new series)
The Lodger – 9/10
The Pandorica Opens – 10/10
The Big Bang – 10/10 (Quite possibly the best piece of television I have ever watched)
A Christmas Carol – 9/10 (Now this is how you do a Doctor Who Christmas special)

Honestly I don't care who's in charge of the show I just want good stories but genuinely think the quality of the show has decreased in the last few year's and that saddens me as I love Doctor Who so much. With any luck
Series 9 will put the stories first and there’ll be more then just a fantastic
lead actor to write home about. Frankly, Matt Smith put up with that enough
But this is all just my opinion

@Polyphase I agree, I find it really annoying when people say Matt's tenure was lighthearted and childish, It was just as dark and mature as Peter's so far if not more so.

@The_War_Braden The Girl in the Fireplace hands down.
Overall I think Series 2 is a good season in terms of stories but the Ten and Rose love story (And just them as a duo in general) just didn't work for me. I much preferred the “matey” bond Rose had with Nine to the romantic one with Ten.
